Best burger in town… PERIOD…Glad I came across this place and I am going back for another burger today…

Nice bar area, not the cleanest place. Had a bit of an odor inside. Good for drinking, but would not eat here.

I have no idea how this bar is able to stay in business. I have given this establishment multiple chances, but have now just given up. Music blares at an unreasonable volume to an empty bar, the draft beer tastes dirty, bartenders seem to be constantly drunk, and the crowd is trashy. Calling this place an Irish bar insults Irish bars.

Great environment and even better customer service. Servers and bartenders seem to be quick and friendly. At night this place turns into a great hot spot for yuppies to drink late into the night for pretty cheap. They also has great food and drink specials. Aside from the coupon on here you can usually find something on Groupon.

Awesome bar… great spot to hang with friends and get twisted the happy hour $ 3 beers HELL YEAH!!! Great selection of whiskey to keep you happy and toasty the Teriyaki wings are perfect to go along with the Whiskey and beer trip

Lady bartender was nice but was working the whole bar on her own so service was horribly slow so not her fault. was about to leave as I hadn’t been waited on and then she came. Menu is not comprehensive and on wall outside it says world famous but not sure for what it is famous? decided to leave and cross street to the Mexican restaurant where they had good service and atmosphere much better and food selection was extensive. Immediately had a drink in my hand and food ordered.

I went here for dinner with a friend recently. There was a football game on, and the TV volume was up rather high. Our server was polite and attentive– no complaints. Our beef slider appetizers were delicious. My friend enjoyed his fish and chips, and his fries were quite tasty. I ordered the steak, which came with sides of cooked potatoes, spinach, and a vegetable medley of carrots, zucchini, and onions. My steak was cooked properly but lacked seasoning. My spinach was overly garlic-​tasting, but my potatoes and vegetable medley were delicious. We’ll come back, but we’ll go elsewhere for steak.

I had a horrible experience today at McFadden’s Saloon in Stamford, Ct. We ordered right away because we thought it would be really busy because of the Thanksgiving Parade. We waited for one hour before the food came. I had asked for no bacon, and of course, there was bacon. My son had nachos that were terrible. We spoke with the waitress so many times but she said the food will be out. Not her fault but she was very unattentive. The table next to use was a man and his young daughter. Her food was supposed to be free. They
never billed him correctly. Charged him for food, he never got. About 40 minutes goes by, his daughter was falling asleep, he got the corrected bill
and guess what, the food that he ordered in the beginning showed up. He left it there, paid the bill and said, he will never come back. I think he was there for about 2 hours. The table to the left of us waited about 1 hour and their food was horrible. They kept bringing them drinks with no food. So dangerous. Most of the other tables had kids, which lost patience waiting. By the way, there was a table of 6 and they waited for 20 minutes for a drink. Never came, they just walked out.
I suggested that they put some munchies on the table, especially, for the people who were drinking. Maybe, share with the people, that service is taking longer than normal and offer them some drinks and chips while they wait. Let them make the choice.
It was a really bad dining experience. I would not reccommend this place. By the way, we went home and had left over chinese.

This is the worst place i have ever been to in my life. It is a breeding place for flies of any kind. Fruit flies are everywhere! it is a shady place and everything looks old and dirty. The food was not good at all, i could of went to buffalo wild wings instead right down the street. Avoid going here at all costs!

Not the best for people. Flies everywhere (at least three in any drink at any time) and restrooms are terrible.

with so many 1 star review, there is a reason.
My experience is: I ordered a few drinks and paid with cash, then when i ran out of cash want to pay with my card, they said there is a minimum of $ 15, and there is no sign at the bar anyway to inform me otherwise i would pay all with credit card in the first place. I don’t know why they don’t want to accommodate me for one time favor, personally i don’t think it is a lot to ask.
They charged me $ 16 at the end on my card, while i only ordered $ 8 using my card.

It’s a sad place to go to. Please save your time and money and go to Zaza instead. We were just there Ina nice sunny Friday afternoon. Sit outside and ordered two beers. The waitress brought only one and said she only had enough beer in the tap to fill one glass. So that means I was drinking the leftovers from the bottom of the keg. So then I ordered another beer, that never made its way to the table. It literally took 45 mins to get the check, even though there were only about 8 people inside. And of course at the end «the surprise» she didn’t other to charge us for the beer that we never received… in two words– SAD STORY!!!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. One of the worst establishments I have ever been to as a person in the business. The happy hour is a joke and a rip off. They told me it was half off and it was for only one drink. At first they told me that we could only get it through a raffle but then Tiffany talked to «someone» and got us the worst deal ever. I wouldn’t return to this place even if I was paid to. Worst place I have ever been to. No wonder why no one was there. No one should be.

If I could give this place less than 0 stars I would. Went for drinks for my birthday and was told I didn’t have a tab open because the bartenders were too drunk to find my credit card. After 30 minutes of searching and being verbally abused by the bar staff I was offered a conciliatory shot for my troubles. The manager didn’t care what I had to say as long as they were making there money. Needless to say McFaddens is your typical bro bar filled with air heads who have a hard time remembering there name behind the bar.

This literally may be the worst bar I have ever been to. The food is bad the drinks are bad and its dirty. The Happy hour they try to give you for free is a rip off.

Horrible bar even for this laid back nights when you don’t give a s@*£ were you go. Sketchy employees and bad management.

My review was deleted, so I’m writing a new one. I will never return to McFadden’s. The place was PACKED, with barely any room to move. This must be a fire hazard or something. In the fifteen minutes I was there, I had three drinks spilled on me. I couldn’t even get upset at the culprits because no one could move without bumping into several people in the attempt. Why is there ONE restroom? Absolutely preposterous for such a crowded location. Trying to get a drink? Good luck, and when you finally reach the bar, the bartender may be extremely rude. He was very unpleasant to my friend, and to make matters worse, gave her the wrong drinks. The drinks are extremely watered down; I could not taste any alcohol in my rum & coke whatsoever. If you enjoy rude staff, weak drinks and the feel of being in a hot, loud cattle pen, go to McFadden’s. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Certainly come to McFaddens if you like shady business practices, and being ripped off. But, since I do not, I will never be back.
I am not sure where to begin. and how to rank the issues from bad to worst. but here goes.
Bad: Food. The food tastes like frozen food that was popped under the broiler or in the microwave and served. So, if you do not eat it quickly, it will turn to a sloppy mushy mess. Yuck.
More Bad: The restrooms. How is it possible there are only two restrooms (one man, one woman), for a bar this big? The line is so long it wraps into the crowd at the bar. Completely inefficient, annoying, and nevermind, a fire hazard.
Even More Bad: This place gets rowdy. It seems like they do not mind if the bar gets crowded into the dining area, and people stand on chairs, and even stand on my lap because they cannot tell its a lap, and not another chair. Do they not have managers or security to watch for this? It got so bad, I had to walk to the front to protect myself from getting injured.
The Worst: The killer is that we were completely ripped off. We were over charged for a number of drinks (read 16 drinks when we maybe had 9 between the five of us). I said something to the waitress that she must have rang up more rounds than we had, and she said ‘oh woops, I will get them.’ Seriously? I had to point this out after the bill? I got the bill because I want to leave this dump! She proceeded to bring 3. That math clearly does not make up for it in my world. It was so obvious that they were falsely ringing up drinks assuming we would not notice. So shady, and so unethical.
Good luck McFaddens. I look forward to seeing what bar takes over your space next.

Floor staff was extremely rude going as far pulling a stool out from underneath my wife. They kicked us off our table at 10 bc they didn’t room for dancing while the entire rest of the dance floor was cleared. We were 9ppl at the table eating and drinking. Let us finish. Ludicrous. Will never go back and hope they go out of business soon which they will if they don’t change their customer service

Although McFadden’s promises to be a nice local hang out, don’t be fooled. The drinks are watered down and service moves at a snails pace. My fiancé and I ordered our food and literally took an hour to receive. Our waitress never bothered to check on us and only after we tracked her down, did we receive any sort of response as to why we never received our food. Pass on this place.
