Pretty good Lunch food, albeit breaks my bank by week’s end!

Extremely over priced for average food. I don’t care if Gordon Ramsey is in the kitchen… A bacon, egg, and cheese bagel should not be 7.00 and it shouldn’t taken 10 minutes to make. How about the small cups of orange juice and apple juice that are sold for $ 4.00. Were they squeezed by Jesus Christ himself?

Great place. I’ve been there a few times throughout the last couple of years and at different times of the day and have never had a bad experience. The place is clean and modern, the food is delicious with a HUGE variety of snack choices and I always find the service to be friendly and happy whether its the cashiers, salad makers or people in the back who come out to say hello or to make sure everything is working smoothly. It’s located in a nice area with parking all around.

Pretty great! We walked over from a nearby hotel and we’re pleasantly surprised. Great environment, cool atmosphere!!! My daughter loves the French toast!!! I tried it and I agree… really outstanding!!! My wife and I both had breakfast sandwiches, they were both great. I enjoyed the coffee as well… seems simple enough, but some place use super acidic blends, theirs was enjoyable. We will visit again before heading home.

This is my favorite go to lunch spot. They have fresh deli type food combined with a coffee shop atmosphere. Had a great curry chicken panini with a small fresh salad with balsamic dressing that was fantastic! This is a must if you are in the area looking for fresh food for lunch.

The food here is incredible, amazing staff and super cool décor. They have every meal covered. Great bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant for breakfast. Grab and go Cobb salad or fresh baked goods for a snack. Curry chicken salad wrap for lunch. And my all time favorite wild caught salmon with a side of roasted sweet potatoes, Brussel sprouts and crasins to round out my dinner. Absolute must if you are out spending time in this shopping center.

Located in the town square plaza. Cool coffee shop, from the smooth reggae music echoing through their hidden bose sound system to the cool art on the ceiling connecting countries around the world with dots and two TV screens on the walls set on the food channel lead me to expect the best. However, the food I received was below average. Looks good but did not satisfy my taste buds whatsoever. Service was great because I didn’t have to deal with a noticeably grumpy feline behind the counter. :-)

Killer breakfast sandwich. $ 6.95 sounds high and it is, but fresh bagels brought in from Brooklyn, eggs cooked fresh make it worth the price. One of the top breakfast sandwiches in Stamford.

I am so over this place. I’ve been frequenting Café Oo La La since they opened their doors. I thought they were filling a void in Stamford but unfortunately they’re just another mediocre café with ridiculous prices and the hope of becoming a hip spot. I used to come here out of desperation and feeling fed up with my lack of options but now that other spots have opened up I’m happy to visit those places– even if I have to drive a little out of my way. I’ve tried various items on the menu: sandwiches, wraps, omelettes, veggies, crepes, salads and they’ve never been consistent. Sometimes the food is under seasoned and lacking flavor or it is undercooked and the wrong temperature. At other times there are weird ingredients that I can’t make out and probably shouldn’t be in my dish. The service is also lacking and inconsistent. There are times when the staff is incredible. Sometimes they’re attentive and knowledgeable and other times they seem to not even where they are. If you ask a simple question you’re met with a lot of «um“s and«uh’s» and then a confused laugh, leaving you to simply give up and take a risk on what might possibly be good to try on the menu. The prices are high. Bottomline. They’re laughable considering the quality and lack of consistency in the food. The one thing saving this spot was their coffee. It’s actually amazing and worth stopping in. I was also a fan of their cookies until those were always randomly unavailable or tasting slightly burnt. I’ve since decided that it isn’t worth it to me anymore to get coffee from there when everything else is so lacking. Please save your money, time and sanity and pass up café oo la la. All you’ll get is frustration and food that you’ll probably end up tossing in the trash.

Uncomfortable. Overcooked skimpy omelet. Undercooked, oily potatoes(twice after sending them back once). Just turn your fryer up. I’m at least the second reviewer to remark on undercooked potatoes. Cold toast. Friendly cashier. Fast. Grumpy manager. Glad I don’t live here so I may not accidentally find myself eating here again. This place probably has some crazy fast employee turn around.

I am not compelled much to write a review of places, but this is more of an issue that needs stated about employees versus the quality of the place. On a Saturday the store hours posted on the front Door specifically say 8am to 7pm. My wife and I walked in here at 4:15pm. Most restaurants that base their business on food would not close their kitchen 2 and a half hours early from my experience. But we were told that the kitchen was closed when I went to order food. We sat down while waiting for my wife’s food and with a direct view into the kitchen. 3 people were back there. Most likely cleaning up, but to be closed with workers back there is a surefire way of not to receive repeat business. I feel bad for the owner/owners here if this is not their business model with a kitchen closing 2.5 hours before close. If this is their business model then maybe posting information about«kitchen» hours will help.

Subpar food and coffee. Beware taking out from them — they have a nasty habit of mixing up or screwing up orders. Our crepes we got to-go were green and I still don’t know why. They tasted weird, too. Definitely not what we expected. Their food is ok, but not worth their ridiculous prices. Their customer service is decent enough. I like the location/décor, but beyond that, nothing stands out to me.

Thai is the first review I’ve felt compelled to write. And what also my first and last visit to Oh La La café. I ordered a bacon, mozzarella and lettuce pita with avocado and no tomato, to go. It wasn’t until I got home and realized I’ve been given a sandwich with mozzarella, avocado, lettuce and tomato with no bacon. To add further to my disappointment, the avocado which I’d been charged $ 1.50 extra consisted of 3 slices. I’m really disappointed I payed $ 10+ for a BLT sandwich that was missing the bacon, had tomato when I asked for none and had barely any avocado.

I would say this place is just OK. Their coffee is nothing special, and doesn’t really compete for the area. I’d pick Starbuck’s iced drinks over here. But the breakfast sandwiches are good and I do like the openness of the place.

Awesome chic café with lots of options and goodies. Came for breakfast. The turkey bacon, egg white on wheat is just what I like. Simple. No frills and great tasting. So was the chocolate croissant and coffee. Scooped up some brownie brittle/Toffee crunch. Really good. Chill atmosphere and everyone is very nice and speedy. Score some good eats and chill.

We swung in for a quick breakfast and coffee driving from Philly to New England on 95 after reading the Unilocal reviews. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee came quickly. Coffee was great, breakfast sandwich yummy, and my wife and daughter enjoyed the pancakes and bacon. Place filled up as we dined, lots of regulars, all greeted by name. Always the sign of a good place. If we lived closer, we would be regulars as well. Pastries and lunch food all looked good, both the menu and the pre-made items. Prices were great, food and coffee was delicious. Would happily plan on stopping there again on our next ride through.

Im writing this review after my second visit to Oo La La. My first trip was a late evening and I just needed a sandwich. The woman who waited me was super helpfull, more so once she discovered I was new to the area. I went a pre made tuna wrap. Amazingly it tasted super fresh and wasn’t soggy. This is not what I have come to expect from pre made fair. I love fast well executed food This expierence inspired me to make a return trip this morning when I was craving a pastry. I met the owner filomena(I hope thats right sorry if its not :)) she took great care of me. I was being indecisive so she offered me fresh chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t have the time to wait for the cookies. Thays when I saw the scones. Lets talk scones: light but not too flaky, sweat but the fruit still shined, hot and buttered. Great work, Michael Oberther

THEBEST Egg and cheese breakfast sandwich I’ve EVER had. Served on a moist, sweet, massive croissant with a runny egg and loads of cheese. See the picture and drool. Plenty of seating in this cute café. Great to meet for lunch or bring your laptop to get some work done. Several power outlets throughout the café.
