Starbucks

The coffee is standard Starbucks, no complaints there.
The service is what I find inexcusable. There is always enough staff, usually more at this location than the mall spot. However it always takes twice as long to get through the line and then wait for your drink. The people here don’t ever seem to want to be there either which doesn’t help either.
I’ve always been critical of the Starbucks order system of making people with a simple drink such as iced coffee wait for 6 moch frap with double whip to be made first. why starbucks why?
Hopefully they pick up the pace here and hire some better help, but this has been an issue for a year anyways.

I just had one of the absolute all-​time WORST Starbucks experiences at this location!
I just happened to be passing right in front of it as Waze tried to navigate me home from New Rochelle to Darien on what was the worst traffic day in a year. Since there happened to be a spot right in front available, I decided I would stop in for a pick-​me-​up.
BAD IDEA!!!
There were FOUR people standing behind the counter: one was at the register, and one was making drinks. Two were doing NOTHING!
There was NO ONE ahead of me, yet it took TEN PAINFUL minutes for the guy to make my drink wrong!
I ordered a venti iced Americano with room. He only put two shots of espresso in the cup, and then filled it with water and ice, leaving no room.
He looked at me and asked me, «do you want me to pour some out?»
I was so worn down, I wasn’t even going to make him put in the other two shots I paid for. I just took my watered down Americano, loaded it up with half & half and took my leave of the place.
I will NEVER return.
Attention Manager: Wake up and manage your Godforsaken store!

I wish they were negative stars for this place. They screw up your coffee order almost every time I’ve gone in there– not complicated — it cost enough– they should get it right!

This shop is quiet quaint and cute. I like to go here and study in the evenings. It is close to my home. I’m currently a student at uconn so it is a great little place for students. It is never too loud when I go. The service is great. The employees seem to know many of the regulars and they are very friendly. I came a few weeks ago and thought I gave the barista a 20 but really it was a 10 dollar bill. They offered to count the till. Oops my fault. But they were very polite and accommodating.
I would recommend this shop if you want to sit down and study. There is a large brown table as well as a little window front bar in which to sit at.

I don’t understand the appeal of Starbucks. The only thing I like there are the Fraps and the one I got the other day from this one was terrible. I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese for the first time because my co worker said they were great. It was disgusting and they don’t even put the cream cheese on it for you. I’ll stick to dunkin donuts next time

This is a smaller Starbucks in a busy shopping plaza, not an enclosed mall but not «just» a strip mall either. We walked from our hotel, had very good drinks and pastries before heading out to other events of the day. Competent and friendly staff, and a nice clean store. And very friendly customers, apparently used to casual conversations with adjacent tables on an early Sunday morning visit.

Brutally slow service, and commonly screw orders up.

Not a bad branch at all. No line, staff seemed friendly enough. Was in and out in 3 minutes, and even got a spot right out front. Good deal all around.

Meh, the coffee is alright… typical Starbucks, nothing mind-​blowing.
I guess I’m turned off to this location from one of the times I recently came here and one of the female employees gave me a really crappy attitude. It’s not my fault that you’re having a bad day! I don’t need anyone to kiss my butt, but at least be cordial.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. Barista who made the drinks was rude and the other people I got drinks for complained that their cappuccinos were too wet.

Solid starbucks… been going here for ages and the staff are friendly. There is a small indoor seating area and a table and chairs outside too.

not the most customer friendly Starbucks around. I only go there b/​c it’s near by.
I wish someone would open a café across the street so I don’t have to deal w/​these unpleasant faces.
