I often travel by car between Chicago and Boston. 2-day travel puts me in the Harrisburg area visiting relatives the first day. Today was the second leg of one such trip from Chicago and hunger for a late lunch drove me off the Merritt Parkway at the Long Ridge Road exit. Google maps indicated a deli nearby, so I decided to give it a try. Wow! Their sandwiches are unmatched! Great meats(Boar’s Head?), bakery-fresh rolls, and a super friendly staff. What’s not to like? I had the Italian Combo — #19 — on a Kaiser roll. One bite told me this was MY kind of sandwich! With generous slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and roasted red peppers, this was simply an outstanding lunch item. And it was wrapped in deli paper — not stuffed into a plastic bag that contributes to a soggy sandwich. My sandwich didn’t need any lettuce and tomato filler — in fact, there was neither. It was almost too tall to bite into, with all the delicious meats in it. My wife opted for the Turkey Bacon — #22. Her’s was thicker than mine. She ate half and declared herself full.(She ate the second half tonight for dinner.) So we had one of their chocolate chip cookies for dessert and got back on the road. Will I make it a point to stop here again? You betcha!!!

Second time trying this place with a group. The first time I ordered the Mango Tango which has arugula, mango, apple, cranberries, walnuts with raspberry vinaigrette I received 4 slices of an apple on a bed of arugula that was close to being too old to eat. You can tell by taste when it’s getting close, the pungent flavor normally associated with it becomes overwhelmingly acrid. the cranberries and walnuts were okay but the mango was sparse as well. I paid well over 8 dollars for something I could have thrown together for 4 bucks from the grocery store and gotten more. Additionally, we ordered at 11:30, lunch did not arrive until close to 1, and we are a mile down the road. This time I ordered the«Steak, Cherry Peppers, Onions & Monterey Jack Cheese» — now remember that title because it’s important. First, my coworker who ordered noted that for some reason the price was really high last time, the order was off by 8 bucks, but she didn’t want to complain. This time it seemed we were off by 12. We were all ordering off the online menu, obviously, so she called back. The girl that she spoke to was belligerent and informed us rudely that the prices had gone up. My sandwich, which is marked online for 6.95 was now 9 bucks. Had I known, I would have cancelled the order since I didn’t have high hopes after last time. Well, I wasn’t disappointed with being let down again. After taking the first bite of my sandwich, which again was half warm and took forever to get here(though the delivery kid was nice!), I noticed that there was no onion and no cheese. So half my sandwich somehow didn’t make it here? Ok. After having multiple mix ups now my coworker attempted to call back. No one answered for a half hour and then when she did get a hold of some one it was the same rude girl as before. We will wait until she isn’t there to ask to speak to a manager, again. TLDR; salad was not good and over priced, delivery time is hilariously long, girl who answers is rude and I didn’t get half the toppings on my now 9 dollar sandwich. Oh! and the«steak» they use? Is philly steak, not actual sliced steak and at this point, I wouldn’t doubt it comes from frozen. SKIP!

Awesome, tasty sandwich STUFFED with meat and cheese and the perfect sandwich bread! Fresh and delicious! I ordered the ham, turkey with provolone cheese and it was fresh, flavorful and easy to eat. They know how to build a sandwich! I will stop here often when traveling to CT or down to NYC.

This place was supposedly open on Sunday. It took my order online and yet no one was in the store.

Great find in North Stamford. I hadn’t been to this location since it was Post Grocers. The inside of Mish Mosh is nice but limited seating. I had an Italian sandwich on ciabatta. Surprised that they didn’t have spicy brown mustard, but the horseradish sauce I requested instead of the oil and vinegar the sandwich came with was tasty. The meats, cheeses and bread were very fresh. Overall, I’d highly recommend Mish Mosh for sandwiches.

I stopped at Mish Mosh with my husband and one-year-old for a late lunch while traveling through CT. What an awesome find! Food was delicious and high quality, and awesome customer service. Even though we arrived 10 minutes before closing, they reopened the grill to make two incredible steak and cheese sandwiches. They cut up an apple for our daughter. Then we enjoyed our meal on the table outside the deli. Great selection of side items – had cannoli, caprese salad, and deviled eggs. Look forward to visiting our next time driving through the state.

What a cute place for North Stamford! And, on first taste, the food is really good for a change! :) Tried a healthy grilled chicken with broccoli rabe, mozzarella, portobello mushroom and balsamic. It was great! Too bad Mish Mosh is not also more of an eat-in place with more than a couple of tables and a restroom. But for the take-out and delivery deli that it is, fabulous local spot! Maybe because I grabbed a late lunch, the coffee out of the carafes was barely warm. I need fresh hot coffee every day along with my air and water. :) The owner cheerfully nuked it for me, but keeping the java fresh and hot might be one area for improvement. Offering lattes — even better. Can’t wait to try the vast array of yummy looking home cooked food(including seafood!) and pizza. Hope they offer some grab-and-go sandwiches for when they’re busy and I’m in a rush(like always). I plan to become a regular.

I drive by Mish Mosh everyday at the same time; drawn in by the name and font, oh and the subtitle! The name lingers in my mind because it’s simple, yet enticing. Today, I didnt drive by, but decided to give it a try. I AMGOINGBACK!!! As soon as we walked in(my 16yr old daughter and I), the wonderful varied, but not overbearing smells of freshly cooked food, were just as enticing as the name. We were greeted immediately by the beautiful ladies behind the counter, and then welcomed even more when I expressed that I had not been there since the former occupants. As we approached the counter, I saw a few familiar faces of whom greeted us. There were so many options from which to choose; from the deli style case with freshly prepared foods: pastas with and without seafood, chicken, and much more, to the pizza and the familiar menu selections. The time came to make a decision, with no pressure from the gentlemen behind the counter; I ordered the #32 Steak with Lettuce amd Tomato, and my daughter orderes the B+, which was perfect for her… it comes with a can of Arizona. Price point, you wonder; well in my opinion, it is reasonable, and well worth it. The authentic steak was juicy and flavorful, the bread left me speechless, and my daughter enjoyed her burger and fries. If you are looking for great customer service, a food establishment with a family feel, a place that is super clean, a nice selection of food, and delicious, head on over to MISHMOSH!

Gluten free and yummy!!! Ok. So the gf pizza is a little small. Aren’t they all??? But the crust is amazing!!! I have been gluten free for 10 plus years(before it was as popular as it is now). This crust and the mozzarella is delicious. It arrived hot and fresh. They also delivered cheez its and vitamin waters for the teenagers at my house. Love that they have everything there for delivery. I have only been to mish mosh a few times but everything I have gotten there is delicious and the service is great. It is a welcome addition to north Stamford and is such an easy access from the Merritt parkway. We Will be making this a regular dinner/lunch/delivery of grocery items option. Yay!!!

Saw a tip that boasted about how great the meatballs are and I couldn’t resist stopping in. The name is pretty accurate — the sign outside says«Pizza, deli, coffee, market». Think small high-end convenience store with a pizza/deli in the back. They did have a small table or two but most likely just take out for food. The deli area has lots of pre-made salads, pasta, meatballs, sausage and peppers, etc(all cold). They also had a few hot items available(pizza, chicken cutlet, etc.). I tried the meatballs and they were pretty solid. Very flavorful and good texture. Sausage and peppers were also very good. A slice of apple pie appeared homemade and was pretty delicious but there was some burnt area on the bottom. Other items I noticed for sale were the usual cooler full of sodas, chips, pasta, baked goods, small section of fresh fruit, cheese, etc. I’ll be back to see what else they’ve got.
