Ordered a takeout tortellini soup. Came with large chunks of chicken that you can’t cut because they’re too large! The flavor is pretty good, but it teeters on being too greasy. Wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again, but not terrible.

Randomly decided to stop at this place with a friend. We ordered some turkey wraps to fight off starvation from a road trip. While waiting for the wraps, we saw the BBQ chicken pizza in the window heater and asked for a slice. They heated it in the oven for us quickly. It was to-die-for! The chicken was grilled(had little char marks) and the sauce was quite complimentary. The crust is on the thinner side and perfectly crispy. Bottom line: The turkey wrap was so-so but the BBQ chicken pizza was EVERYTHING I ever wanted in life.

I just began working in Stamford and my employers ordered lunch from here today. I found not 1, but two dark black hairs in my Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Immediately threw it out. Only reason I did not call to complain was because I didn’t want to make a scene at work. Will never order from or eat there again. Absolutely disgusting.

Planet Pizza is always good in my book. Regular New York style pies, speciality slices or sandwiches have been good. However, their pepperoni for their pizza topping lacks flavor and isn’t the best quality– skip it if you can. They also are always running great promotions that you can find on their website or in the newspaper for pizza, soda and wings(and other combinations). Good prices for good food!

Went here while visiting my boyfriend. Was super convienent and the late hours were perfect for us! The lasagna is amazing!!! Comes with a great portion of bread. Really great food! Not 5 stars because they don’t have Diet Coke :)

Some of the fastest take out around. The quality and taste is not four star worthy, but Planet is consistent, fast and is a great value. They have a variety offerings to suit any craving and if your too lazy to get to them, they will come to you and not make you wait like a lot of other places pushing that over thirty minute threshold. Salads are good, next I would go with a wrap then pizza. The cannoli’s are pretty good as well. Good BBQ Chicken pizza and nice size slices.

I eat my lunch there almost every day a grilled chicken cesar salad. This place is clean; food is ready really quick which is important to me in the middle of my business day when I am always on the run and they are efficient. If I cant make it by they have fast delivery. Over the years they have rarely made any mistakes with my order and they are usually very reliable and on time. I am a picky guy so most of the food delivery places have lost my business over the years after running either really late with an order or bringing the wrong order. Planet Pizza is always on their game — no wonder why they are so busy every day — busy place = fresh food Thanks guys for being there !

Great pizzas, location, seating and service. My second time here and it’s already my favorite.

I’ve tried to like Planet Pizza so many times, but I just don’t. It’s hard to avoid them as their prices can’t be beat and they seem to be everywhere, but really, unless you’re less than 10 years old, this really just doesn’t count as pizza. They do offer gluten-free pizzas, and they have a lot of variety, great coupons and deals, and offer prompt service. but in general, I’d rather have no pizza than Planet Pizza.

I’ve gone to and had delivery from the Planet Pizza on Summer street in Stamford many times, but today’s delivery was really bad. Ordered two large salads one with cheese one without. They seemed like small or regular size salads. The shredded cheese was in a ball and tough to separate, the speciality pie was extremely oily, tasty but oily. The other 3 pies were barely cut we had the recut every pie.

Who doesn’t love planet pizza?! Their pizza is amazing!!! I love their wings and fried calamari. Tiramisu is so good! Salads are so good too(always have to buy the greens so I can add in a healthy veggie =) Since everyone always wants pizza, when in Stamford this is my go to place.

I can’t speak for the regular pizza but I can speak for the gluten free and it’s the best I ever had. I live in LA and haven’t found a gf pizza as good as theirs. The toppings are always fresh and the sausage is SO good. They even have gluten free pasta that I tried once. The pasta it self was good, the sauce not so much. But then again, I’m not a marinara type of person. The reason I give it 4⁄5 isn’t because of the sauce it’s because they delivered us the wrong food one time and we had to wait for the correct order to arrive. I know we all make mistakes but when hunger calls…

Ordered a pick up and was told 15 minutes. Arrived 25 minutes later and when I walked in I was told I had to wait another couple minutes. Mind you I only ordered a large thin crust pepperoni & a order of curly fries so It was about a half hour wait in total. They could have said that instead of 15 minutes. Long story short I got my food and didn’t realize the fries had just come out so my boyfriend ate one & it burned his mouth. They probably forgot to make the fries & cooked them as I was waiting inside. Other than that friendly service & food was good.

The first few times I went here, the pizza was good. However, when I ordered delivery, they didn’t show up. When I called Planet Pizza to first check on the order after one hour, the person on the phone was really rude. I had friends over, and I had to pull together lunch for them since the pizzas were a no show. At the end of three hours, the delivery guy finally came with the pizzas, but what was the point? Everyone had already eaten, and most of my guests had left by that time. They didn’t charge me, but it didn’t matter: the pizzas were absolutely inedible/spoiled by that time(who knows how long they were sitting around or what happened to them). Into the trash they went.

I’ve been going to Planet Pizza every so often for quite some time and I know this is kinda an awkward way to begin a review but it is the real outstanding feature of Planet Pizza and that is the staff — the guys are great & although employees might change hands there still remains the continuity of good customer service & mind ya the staff is crazy busy behind the counter but they’re always polite & never rush ya. Believe it or not the dining area actually has a bit of ambiance too considering this is a casual place and one feels comfortable eating there. Great for families & kids. Ok now for what people wanna know most about — the food. The pizza for the most part is generic but in all fairness it’s really difficult to find superb pizza anyway, anywhere. The sicilian pizza seems to have good days but also has bad days – sort of like going to the casino when ya eat the sicilian pizza there. I have not tried the lasagna but guests that I’ve brought to Planet Pizza greatly enjoyed it. Sadly something that’s hard to mess up, chicken wings, is subpar. On the 2 occasions I’ve had them they appear to be old?, somewhat dry the actual meat part. Calzones – average to good. Chicken parm sandwich/wedge/grinder/hero/whatever – needs some work. All in all I’d have to say that ya need to experiment @ Planet Pizza & see whatcha like & stick with that. But once again the staff is up there with the best & it seems that the owner(s) really care about the customers. Finally as for delivery – have never used it but I know there are a lotta delivery cars in the Planet Pizza parking lot & when there not there ya see ‘em all over town so I’m assuming delivery is prompt.

This place is alright if you like bowling alley pizza. Or maybe have never had pizza before. Maybe I had a bad experience… but I went for dinner on a Sunday night, and ordered a slice of «grandmas pizza»(have a look in the photos section” and it had obviously been sitting around since that morning when it was made for the lunch crowd. It was terrible. the bench seating is miserable, it was loud with children like an elementary school cafeteria, the TV was blasting a south american soccer game, the salad was clearly out of a bag, and I refuse to believe the Pasta fagiole was made there. maybe it was, that was actually decent and the only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of one. And the soda was half flat.

I came to Planet Pizza because I needed a quick slice for the road. I ordered a plain slice and a Sicilian at $ 3 each. Not bad. Both were pretty good but I liked the Sicilian better, felt like it had more flavor. I was especially happy that my pizza was packed for me in 2 minutes and I was on my way. Also bonus points for giving a discount to civil servants in uniform!

4 stars are for my eat-in experiences. I would only give 3 if based only on delivery. Fantastic grilled chicken on their salads. The dressing is also pretty awesome — makes this my favorite place to grab a garden salad with grilled chicken. Eat in pizza always comes out hot with a crispy, yet chewy crust. Delivery tends to be a little soggy and never hot(despite only being a couple blocks away). Penne a la vodka is huge and delicious(delivery or eat in). Desserts look tempting, but I’ve never had them. Beer in the cooler as well. All portions are very generous and prices extremely fair. Never had a problem finding parking in their small lot.

Hate the pizza here… soggy, underdone… the sauce is generic like it came out of a can and some of the toppings they offer just make you want to go «Hmmm?» Now, other things… like subs, salads, and pasta dishes, are pretty darn good. They have decent lunch specials during the week… usually a pasta dish and a sub/sandwich. The place gets pretty packed around lunch, which is why I like to go there around 1:30 or 2. Watch yourself walking by the parking lot entrance and exit… or else you might get hit by a delivery driver.
