This is now my second review only this time it deserves zero stars! I’m angry I even bothered with this place again! I placed an order at 8:30 on a MONDAY night. They showed up over an hour later with half our order. I didn’t accept because its rude to eat with my other half not having a meal. I called to complain and they insisted on sending another driver in addition to taking care of the bill due to the inconvenience. Waited and waited… They never showed and all Restaurants have now closed. Save yourself the aggravation or make sure you have plenty of leftovers in the fridge prior to ordering so you don’t go without dinner.

Yum! I loved this place when I attended school in Stamford a few years back and since then I’ve been to this pizza restaurant numerous times and it’s exactly what I expect each and every time. Good service and good food. Great selections of pastas, salads and many Italian dishes. However, my particular love at Remo’s is the pizza which is absolutely fantastic. On my recent visit I went for a large Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, roasted peppers and broccoli topping. The pizza has a nice thin crust with a tasty tomato sauce. The complementary homemade Italian bread with olive oil is also an added plus. The menu is good though a little expensive. Many people order take out from Remos or simply enjoy a meal at the bar or patio seating outside. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Stamford and is a very good pick if you are in the area craving Italian food.

Known for their pizza, so get that. They also have good salads for those who do not want pizza. The problem is that it is always super crowded, so going earlier is very recommended.

Remo’s neverrrr disappoints. I’ve had the chicken parm, pepperoni pizza, chicken remo & my personal favorite, the caesar salad. Everything there is always perfect even the bread they give you to start with the olive oil my boyfriend & i are definitely regulars there.

Remo’s is a really cute downtown restaurant with outdoor seating in the spring/summer. Everything I have had is good so far! The pizza is great — I’ve also enjoyed the chicken parm grinder and a grilled chicken sub. The sandwiches are large, definitely a sufficient meal on its own. The pricing is standard for downtown food for pizza and sandwiches, the salads are a little pricey, especially if you build your own. However the build your own option is a nice, rare feature. Fantastic cannolis and lattes as well! Overall, always a good choice for some good Italian.

I have had lots of pizza’s, but this one have exceeded my expectations. Even after reading the reviews this pizza is over the top on taste. It can get overcrowded, so I decided to takeout. Took only 12 minutes for a large Margarita pie. Perfect crust, perfect flavor, perfect sauce! Easy to park onstreet with head-in parking spaces. Make sure to pay the meter.

Really bad. Bland sauce, cold pasta, unremarkable veal parm, overpriced plus bad service and it’s a bear to park… with Fortina(AMAZING pizza, far better atmosphere, but louder for sure) and Siena closeby why bother. Siena is much more refined than either of the other two places, very authentic not red sauce italian food, esp the seafood. h Really unable to understand what people giving this place more than one star are basing it on? Has to be relatives or friends of the owner. Did not try pizza however.

Great pizza at a great price! Five minutes from train but a great casual sit-down dining experience. We had four season pizza – each ¼ of pie gets a unique topping. We had hit cherry pepper, mushrooms, meatball and garlic. Excellent service was speedy too.

Great fresh pizza. Fresh bread giving to all before ordering. That goes great with their own made olive oil. Friendly, customer oriented staff. Awesome cannolis.

Was recommended to Remo’s by a number of my co-workers. I’m sort of a Pizza snob but Remo’s definitely passes the test. Their Chicken parms and Eggplant parms are also solid choices. My biggest complaint however, is the service. Sat down at the location 4 times now and each time the service could have been MUCH better. With that said, I never avoid restaurants for service and Remo’s pizza and sandwiches are solid. So set your expectations and go there.

Great pizza place in downtown Stamford. The pizza is really good, as are all the pasta dishes I’ve tried. But the pizza! Crust just the right size, and cooked to perfection. Nice choice of toppings as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Desserts are disappointing, in my experience, particularly the zeppole. However, it’s not a hugely negative point. I’m often completely full after eating here, so no dessert needed. Will be back.

This is my favorite pizza place in Stamford. I haven’t tried any of the other dishes, but the Hot Oil NY Style pizza with cherry peppers is absolutely delicious. The pizza is fresh and the service is great. The outside patio is a nice touch for Bedford street.
They have a great dessert menu as well. My personal favorite is the Tiramisu.

Love ! Love! Love this place! Not only was the service the best I’ve ever experienced, the pizza was satisfying! My friend suggested we go here after I noticed there wasn’t a local Pizza Hut in this area and I couldn’t be happier with his decision. We ordered the NY style pizza with sausage, spinach and pepperoni topping. The crust was thin but tasty. I had three slices and we even took a slice to go ! Still thinking about this pizza and will be all week! Thanks Remo!

We came here for dinner on Saturday night and the place was packed. It was a bit chilly to sit outside, but people sat out regardless. We waited about twenty minutes and were seated once a table became available. The ambiance is cozy, clean and nice. The service is prompt and courteous. The food was even better– I had the Eggplant Parmesan dinner with a side salad. It was incredible. The eggplant wasn’t too greasy and there was a perfect amount of cheese on top. My fiancé ordered the veal special, which was fantastic. It was served over mashed potatoes with cherry tomatoes and some greens. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. The couple we were dining with had Penne a la Vodka and Pepperoni pizza. I was lucky enough to try the pepperoni pizza and was really impressed. It was a thin crust pizza but it was really good. I haven’t tried any other pizza places in Stamford yet, so I can’t compare, but this pizza was very tasty. Their prices are very reasonable also. We’re looking forward to going back!
