Table 104 has amazing food and an awesome atmosphere. The staff and owner are so friendly and accommodating. The room downstairs is perfect for a private event. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here after work for some appetizers and drinks. They have a good selection of bar food and Happy Hour specials from 4:30 — 6:30 Monday to Friday. They have a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. They have a full bar where patrons can sit and dine too. We used a couple of high tops adjacent to the bar. We ordered several different pizzas(veggie, spicy with meat, meat and cheese) which were all done in their wood burning oven! They came out hot and tasty. These were washed down with different libations. Some calamari, meatballs, cannelone and some more pizza were ordered and finished quickly. All good! We just ordered from the bar menu. I would say the food is Italian inspired. Oscar, our server, was attentive and quick. I would like to try them for dinner. But if you are in the area and need a cozy place to take friends or associates, try Table 104.

It’s been awhile since I’ve left a restaurant after a meal and: 1. Felt the bill was reasonable. 2. Had my knife ‘disappear’ 2X.(lol) 3 Told the waitstaff«That was a good meal’. Please compliment the chef.» 4. Paid cash for the meal, and only had a $ 1.95 loose change for the valet.(a great sport) 5. Said to my pretty, «we should come back» Enuf said.

I really hesitated to write this review because I feel like this place is the best-kept secret in Stamford and is hate for it to get crowded, especially by out-of-towers. I’ve been here 3 times in the past 4 weeks for lunch and dinner and I’ve ordered the same things every time because I’m hooked — kale Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Brussels sprouts salad with pine nuts and raisins and the Hell pizza(pizza with hot peppers and spicy Italian meats). Comfy, modern seating inside and an outdoor garden/patio seating in the back. Service is friendly and attentive. It seems that the entire restaurant takes great pride in what they do, from the owners, chef and kitchen & waitstaff, which all makes for a delightful dining experience.

This is my favorite spot for lunch and happy hour. Service is fantastic, food is always wonderful and ambiance is great. The new outdoor enclosed patio is lovely and getting even better as the flowers grow and it gets more private. The new fire pit will be great sitting outside in the fall! The bar is a perfect spot for happy hour specials(especially on Monday when wine bottles are half price). Rare to find a bar/restaurant in Stamford that has plentiful parking! Can’t wait to try the Sunday brunch too.

My first time at Table 104 and cannot wait to go back. Excellent customer service including the friendly parking attendant. The food was creative and outstanding. Great selection and so many interesting choices. The service was attentive, cordial and consistent. We loved the ambiance and will try the patio when it is not as hot. 5 Stars. Wanted to say hello to Managing Partner Walter Capelli, but he had a well-deserved night off. We will be back.

Sadly — I can’t give this place a great rating. Have eaten here 4 times and they just can’t get the service right. Food was good, but not great. You’re better off driving two miles north to go to Madonia(their other restaurant)

This is a good place. The half price wine is a great treat on a Monday night and I was very pleased. The pasta with chicken was quite good, with a pesto that I really liked. The service here was also excellent, with the owner/GM coming over to chat with me to make sure everything was okay. My only quibble is with the parking; it was tough to find a spot. I will be back, for sure.

Pros: –Well executed small plates – octopus and beet salad were very good, although the grilled octopus could have used a tad more seasoning –Accommodating, friendly staff –Good overall«vibe” – comfortable yet pleasantly«edgy» Cons: –The initially perhaps almost overly attentive service at the bar turned scattered once the place got busier –Check was handed to us(business meeting, split tab) with grossly wrong amounts not once but TWICE – really? When a patron points out(nicely, btw) that the bill just doesn’t reflect what was consumed, don’t you make doubly certain version #2 is 100% right, instead of still having incorrectly charged items on it? –Wine list is standard – not bad, but also not terrible creative and on the high mark up side of things, though admittedly with 50% off on Monday nights In short, I will return since the food sampled during my meeting at the bar was certainly far above average, and the proprietor(s) and staff do create a welcoming experience. That said, I hope the«bill fiasco» was an isolated incident. Fours stars + potential here, certainly, if details get ironed out.

Central to the warm, welcoming environment at Table 104 is an open hearth for its delicious, inventive pizzas. Yet the soul of the restaurant is a modern twist on Italian classics — barolo braised beef with pappardelle one ups a traditional bolognese. Even a main stay caesar salad gets the kale treatment with delcious results. We’ve visited several times for dinner and created a wonderful meal of small plates and pizza or we’ve indulged in the traditional courses which range from high quality steaks, seafood and or the incredibly satisfying pastas. The attentive wait staff will keep your water glass fill, and pace the meal properly for a relaxing experience. The bar area is a great spot to relax with one of the wonderful wines by the glass too. This is a restaurant that lets its patrons make the most of the experience with a flexible menu that does not break the bank yet does not compromise its high standards of deliciousness! Don’t miss it.

Table 104 recently opened on Long Ridge Rd just north of Saks on the way to the Merritt, the fourth re-incarnation of this space(Matteo’s, Fio’s, and Minetto’s to name a few) over the past several years. In addition to the restaurants available in the strip malls on High Ridge, Table 104 offers an option to downtown Stamford. Parking is available in an attached lot, with valet parking on the weekends. We recently visited and sampled several small plates, a two pizza combinations, a pasta and one of their larger plates. My favorite dish of the visit was the«Sicilian Arancini with the Bolognese Sauce.» The arancini were perfectly cooked to maintain its interior moistness; and the kitchen did an excellent job in frying each ball to create a crispy exterior. They sat atop a mound of Bolognese sauce, which was very good… this dish was the highlight of the visit. The other small plate, The«Meatballs, Pork-Chicken Beef, Grilled Crostino, Marinara, Shaved Grana.» was disappointing. The meatballs were severely undercooked, borderline raw, spicy and once we tasted the very rare interior we stopped eating them. The first pizza to arrive was the mushroom pizza. The mushrooms were pretty good and worked well with the cheese. The toppings on the other pizza were sausage, et. al. The sausage was also pretty good, unfortunately both suffered from a crust that was very bland. The pasta dish was capellini combined with shrimp, arugula and grape tomatoes. Other than a few slices of garlic, the dish was significantly under-seasoned, it was very bland. The«Grilled Hangar Steak, Smashed Fingerling, Roasted Peppers, Leeks, Mushroom Ragu,» ordered medium-rare, was served rare-raw. Other than a little vinegar flavor from the chimichurri, It was also under-seasoned. Unfortunately it was overwhelmed with oil from the chimichurri. The potatoes were well prepared but they too were without any seasoning. Overall it was a very disappointing visit to Table 104. Other than the arancini, the other dishes were not memorable.

The parking is valet only. The valet tender isn’t that great at what he does — he lost my keys and couldn’t find my car. The décor is very nice. There is a patio which will be good in the summer. The staff is friendly and seems to know what they need to do. The menu reads well but there is a little lack of execution of it. The menu is large and has plenty of options. Re food execution — there’s a lack of seasoning. When my table of 4 ate there we all ordered one of the specials that night. Super excited for some craft dishes but the food came out lacking seasoning. It tasted bland, although looked great when served. A little salt goes a long way in seasoning. I’m going to wait a few weeks until coming back. Hopefully the valet picks up on his job and the chef finds the salt & seasoning shakers.

I went for dinner Thursday night, they had a party downstairs and the tables were full upstairs. There is a bit of an issue with the noise in the dining room, it’s hard to hear your dinner companions at a reasonably volume. We spoke with one of the manager/owners and he said they were aware of it and working to resolve the acoustics issue. The sea scallops for starters were WOW so good. Cooked perfectly, served on a bed of corn, tomatoes and some other nice flavors. The Verde pizza was yummy, good crust. The servers had great attention and the bussers cleared tables quickly when parties were done. Water and wine were kept filled. I’ll definitely be back again.

A modern Italian/modern American restaurant in style. We ordered a few appetizers — ricotta bruschetta with prosciutto was not bad, but bread was bit too sick and not enough crusty for bruschetta. Charcuttery board was tasty, with very good sauces. Rabbiit sausage was very tasty, however polenta was mostly sweet and not really savory. For the entrée, we had bass, which was cooked well, scallops were not bad but I prefer to see a nicer sear on the scallops. Steak was okay(choice of hanger steak on the good restaurant list is somewhat questionable to me). we had Mojito style cocktails — was okay, but not great. Wine list selection is mostly Italain, with some California and few of the French bottling, priced primarily at triple retail. Service was prompt and friendly.
