Recently, for the first time, I checked out Uncle’ Deli. It’s mainly a convenient «grab & go» coffee, breakfast and lunch place with a wide array of menu options, right off of High Ridge Rd. The staff was nice, and made me a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and pesto mayo. They also do catering and have a sister location in Darien. I wish the prices were just slightly lower, but will definitely be going back many times for the convenience and to try more of their offerings.

My son and I stopped in after a visit to the museum and farm down the street. The staff was friendly and attentive (as much as you can be in a deli). The decaf was actually good, which for 2:30 on a Sunday that is really saying something! We both got the pre-​packaged Italian combos, they were delicious! Next time we are in the area we will stop again.

After passing this place so many times I stopped in on my way upstate. I picked up one of their premade roast beef sandwiches at the general store thinking it would be fresh. Needless to say, it was not and I am currently violently sick.
I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Two weeks ago I went to Uncle’s Deli on High Ridge Rd. By Pine Hill Terrace. I got a buttered roll was told by the new dark haired girl it was $ 2.50. Today I went back because there bacon, egg and cheese on a roll are the bomb while I was waiting I picked up a menu from the pile on the counter. Saw the buttered rolls were $ 1.25 and the bacon, egg and cheese was a$ 2.25 ended up being charged $ 2.75. When I brought it up to them I was told those menus were old. I haven’t seen the owner there in a couple of weeks but I can tell you this much, I will not be going back. I’ll find somewhere else.

I had their turkey/​avacado/​swiss lunch special and a cup of southwest type chicken soup. Both were awesome! Would definitely return. Plenty of menu items to choose from. I paid $ 14 for soup, sandwich, chips.
