Peppino’s Pizza

I don’t recommend complaining to Peppinos weekday evening crew. I had some guys working at my home so I picked up several pizzas from Peppinos. They finished the work a little later than I planned so we didn’t open the pizzas right away. I discovered that Peppinos messed up my order and when I called them a very rude woman said I waited too long to open them and that there wasn’t anything she could do. I explained I had work being done and it wasn’t finished as planned and then she said I could bring the pizza back and they would replace it. I explained about the workers being at my house and that I couldn’t come back because I live 20 minutes away. She rudely said the best she could do is give me 5.00 off our next pizza. I thought maybe she’d offer to deliver the pizza but she didn’t care. 5.00 wasn’t a good enough compensation for their mistake. In a nutshell I told her to stuff her 5.00 off our next pizza. Tonight I decided to give them another chance but when I called the person that answered said he wasn’t allowed to take my order and hung up on me. I then called Uccellos in Standale and they were polite and they check every order that goes out and it was perfect. My husband raved about their pizza! I raved about their exemplary customer service. Peppinos could learn a thing or two from Uccellos. Peppinos lost a sale tonight and future sales due to a rude woman answering the phone and Uccellos gained a sale tonight and many future sales due to wonderful pizza and customer service. Shame on Peppinos!

Best local pizza around, with a great staff that is always friendly whenever I go in there. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Pizza is solid, really weird that my son and I are the only ones here, and this woman (the manager ?) flopped her laptop down on the table right next to us and is banging away on her keyboard, there is not a better place to do that??? Kind of unsettling… Don’t think I will come back.

Had a surprise party here for my moms 60^th birthday last weekend. We had a party of 15 and they really did a great job. They were the only pizza place I could find that would take a reservation on a Saturday for a large group. Our server Ali did a great job helping us serve a cake we brought in. The margherita pizza was a thinner crust and really good.

I would have given 5 stars, but I was really irritated that they quoted us a 30 minute pickup time, and it ended up being over 50 minutes.
When we went to pick up the pizza, my husband gave his name, she checked the warmers, and there was no pizzas with our name on it. The cashier then went to the kitchen to check on our order, only to find the order ticket still in line to be made. She took the ticket down, circled our order and pointed it out to the pizza chef as she put it back into the clips. Our pizza had not even been started! So we sat in the parking lot while our pizza was being made and cooked.
Once it was finally done, we did enjoy the pizza. Love pepperoni and green olives. It had the right amount of cheese, good sauce and perfect crust.

I’m not too fond of large metal pieces in my pizza. Thank God my two 1 ½ year olds and 3 YO did not choke on it!!! I called location to report and they said they were just talking about it. Their bubble poker broke off and they couldn’t find it but they sent the pizza’s out anyway… Then, I was offered a free pizza. When I said I was done eating there, they offered a refund. BUT I would have to go pick it up because they couldn’t refund my credit card. I tried to contact the owner and GM of the franchise multiple times and NO RESPONSE. This is unacceptable and very scary that they serve food. I also put this review in their FB page and they deleted it, really classy!

We’ve been ordering from here since we moved here 4 years ago. It used to be my favorite. However between their really long delivery time (45 – 90 minutes) and the decline in quality, it’s now getting 3 stars. Their flavors are great. However, recently the pizza is more greasy and my favorite sub, the turkey club has very little meat in it. It used to be stuffed and so was I. The food used to be worth the wait. Now, not so much.

One of my favorite lunch spots. The lunch buffet is really good and very reasonably priced. Get there a little early for lunch. Tends to fill up quick. Buffet is usually several different pizzas, bread sticks, vegetables, famous meatloaf and various pastas.

Oh yes, Peppinos pizza. Best pizza in town, by far. Pepperoni and green olives is the best combo. I get a large every time I’m in town. Love this place.

We order Peppino’s often for our company luncheons. They are have amazing pizza and their wings are great, too. Everyone loves when we order from here! They are timely, too. Not a ridiculous wait time for pizza. Their specialty pizzas are amazing– chicken alfredo is fabulous!

We just moved into the neighborhood last week. As our world is still in disarray, we have been consistently eating out. The night we moved in, I tried and failed to order Dominos. Boy am I glad something went wrong because we found Peppino’s!
We ordered two large pizzas. One pepperoni, one sausage. They were just right. Not too thin, not too thick, not too greasy, chewy crust, and just enough sauce (a healthy amount). The staff was efficient and friendly. And the prices were very reasonable (about $ 10 a pizza).
We enjoyed it so much, we ordered it again when my in laws came up a few days later.
I highly recommend this pizza.

The original. The best of the Peppino’s in town. While I feel they are a little on the expensive side, the quality never suffers and I am never disappointed.

Great pizza and great service!
We have tried a variety of items from their menu and I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.
