On the pricey side, but serves decent food and coffee. They’re known for their spicy mocha and tiger spice chai. Order online at to skip the line, or use the Downtown app for their other locations on campus(last I recall you get $ 5 credit teh first time you order). They don’t serve the perico or arepa, even though it’s on the menu! I’ve tried to order it several times over the last 2 years and they’ve never done it. I don’t know if I’m doing it at the wrong time, but it seems an elusive dish that I really want to try.

Review is only for the coffee. Possibly the worst coffee, but beggars can’t be choosers when stuck on campus. Most of their roasts are burnt and chalky.

Somehow, even though I come here regularly(campus food options are limited) they manage to screw up my order almost every single time. Recently they even screwed it up TWICE in a row– so that I had to wait 30 mins for my sandwich! Don’t waste your time on the new bubble tea– it’s super sweet and does not taste like bubble tea from other spots.

I am usually not one to pay much for a salad but I am obsessed with the Nicoise tuna salad. It is well worth the money. The combination of flavors with the lemon vinergette is amazing! I also love how the tuna always tastes(and looks) very fresh– it’s bit white hunks, not like the kind you see subway scoop with an ice-cream scooper.

I love Coupa. Nothing warms up your soul better than a spicy mocha or a vanilla chai, and since there’s no indoor seating at this location, you’ll need all the warmth you can get. Especially nowadays. There’s also a new park /open space that just opened up next to it, so a cup of Coupa is the perfect accompaniment to sitting on the benches and people watching. If you’re looking for a snack, their key lime tart, apple crumble, and lemon poppy seed twists are all excellent. For something savory, try the jalapeño cheese croissant.

I’m in love with the Mocha I got it for the spicy … Okay this doesn’t work but you get the point: the spicy mocha is just wonderful. I had an issue with hot chocolate and since that time I’m not drinking any from myself. But this. This is what I’m talking about when I say hella good hot chocolate. It’s the only place serving spicy mocha so it’s not complicated. I haven’t tried anything else but the spicy mocha and(I know I’m biased) just for that I’m giving it 5 stars.

Nothing like being a loyal customer and having your sunday breakfast interrupted by the manager yelling that your taking food without paying. I put money on my card thursday. I bought breakfast sunday. After I pay and get my breakfast manager yells out. Hey our system is down and I’m not sure if the charge went through on your card so you need to pay again. I’m sorry, your system went down and you want to double charge me? I eat at coupe ten times a month. Not a way to treat any customer be they first time or new

Sigh, Coupa café — that was quite possibly the worst iced double espresso I’ve ever had. I could get past two sips. Lucky for you I’ve had plenty of other good drinks it must’ve been an off day.

Sometimes, you just need to eat, and Coupa is your best option. The chicken pesto crêpe has a lot of cheese and is really oily. The paninis are fine but can be a little dry. But compared to other options on campus, Coupa is fine.

I’ve had mixed experiences with Coupa in the past, but today, I ordered a panini during the lunch rush and they lost my order. Although I understand it’s busy, I checked twice, once after 15 minutes and again after 25 minutes to see if the order was going through. Both times they told me they were working on it. After checking for a third time, they checked again and said they had lost the order and had to start again. Ended up wasting 45 minutes on a takeout order.

I used to be a big fan of Coupa at Green library, for the nice outdoor view, friendly staffs and wraps grilled golden brown. Usually I got lattes here as well. Everything has changed, perhaps since the destruction of Meyer library. The dusty air and the noise might have made the people less careful preparing lattes, which are often times too hot to hold and lack the uniformity of well-formed foams, albeit the sweetness coming out of properly-steamed milk. On top of deteriorating dining area and food quality, the price rose for nearly all items… now I would rather go to the Y2E2 location for a nicer ambience and well-prepared lattes.

I like this coupa better than the one on university because it’s cheaper. The tiger spice chai is delicious and spicy and not too sweet. I also like the spicy mocha for the same reason. The Caracas and marron are Venezuelan lattes that provide a nice kick of caffeine when you need to study at green library. Their tres leches cake is expensive but so good! I used to eat it at least once a week when I was at Stanford over the summer. Their tart is also good but quite pricy as well. I like their sweet and savory crepes as well, but the smoked salmon gets cooked because of the heat of the crêpe. Their paninis are also quite delicious-try the one with the stewed beef. I’m not a big fan of their blended drinks. They aren’t very flavorful and kind of melts. They also serve Popsicles at this location. They have some fancy flavors like one with malt whisky and another with TCHO chocolate. They usually switch up the flavors but I’ve liked every single one that I’ve tried.

Their caprese panini had cold Mozarrella and no flavor(I had to ask for salt). I prefer coho’s version.

I love the location and portion sizes here. Prices are moderate so may be a tad high if you’re struggling with education/housing expenses or are just plain cheap, but would be a nice way to treat yourself if its the former. Nice Eggs Benny and their Coupa Crêpe is great with one of their coffee drinks as a(high calorie) snack. The best thing to have here though is a seat at one of their tables on a nice warm day and just chill and people watch.

On a campus that invited Panda Express and Subway in as food options, it’s nice to have this place right between the Education buildings and 2 libraries(well, now 1). And my boyfriend and I had our first date here, so it has a special little place in my heart. It was one of the first places I would meet up with people on campus and just embodies the happy soaking-up-the-sun demeanor of the school. There really is decent food and it’s probably the only other place on campus that serves strong coffee(aside from Starbucks in Tressider, and it’s much better than what you can get in the basement of Cubberley). My personal favorites are the caramel macchiato(strong! just the way I need it before group meeting) and the spicy maya mocha(also can be made as a hot chocolate — very unique spicy and rich chocolate flavor in either). They also have free flavored water(lemon and cucumber varieties) here — bring a bottle. However, a few things: – the food items are hit or miss pricewise. Some things are reasonably priced(chicken quesadillas!). Some things are moderately priced(omelets are around 8 bucks but they come with some baguette slices and a fruit salad). Some things are ridiculously priced(the caprese salad. It’s half a tomato’s worth of slices and 1⁄3 of the basil my plant puts out any day. really?) – ORDERONLINE. Go to the coupa website, set up an account, and order. You can time when it comes out, and if you have a decent sense of when you can make it, the order is ready and you can skip the wait. Best thing ever about Coupa. This place can be occasionally slow as hell, and forget lunchtime unless you brought someone you want to talk to while waiting in line. – seating is limited now that Meyer’s getting torn down.

I went here with my boyfriend and got the savory pesto chicken crêpe. He’s really allergic to walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts, but the crêpe didn’t list any nut ingredients. The crêpe was pretty good(a little dry though), but after biting into it, my boyfriend said that there were nuts in the crêpe. I think it would be really useful to list whether a dish has nuts in it or not, because it’s really important. My boyfriend might have needed to be rushed to the hospital if he took a larger bite.

Who knew Stanford would have such a jewel For their food prices are unlike the tuition of this school But it’s rather counter intuitive their deals are indeed a superlative Had their panini And it wasn’t large but it wasn’t tiny This café is great, the prices are low for what you would expect but I guess even Stanford students can use a decent priced café as well.

For at least a few years after I joined Unilocal,I had MoonBeams bookmarked as «To Review.» At some point I realized MoonBeams had closed and I’d never felt strongly about it in the first place, so I moved on with my life. On my last visit to campus, I met one of my college professors at MoonBeams’ replacement, Coupa Café. It was kind of nice to see that it looked the same. Coupa Café is conveniently located in a central part of campus, right in front of the main library. When I was a student, I passed by MoonBeams almost every day. One day early on in my senior year, I locked my bike outside MoonBeams and managed to lose the key. I saw that bike every time I went to class until I graduated.(It isn’t there anymore. I checked.) I never ate at MoonBeams, or really used it much at all unless someone asked to meet there. Coupa Café serves a similar function, a rendezvous spot and coffee stop for the Stanford population. That said, Coupa seems a bit more ambitious than MoonBeams. You can get a full meal here if you feel so inclined. I think I’ve been to a Coupa Café in Beverly Hills, and this outpost seems entirely different, but if the food is similar, it could be pretty decent. I’d just come from jamming an entire falafel one-handed into my face on the drive over, so I just got a Diet Coke. I sat with my professor at a little table in the sun, and we caught up and enjoyed the warm weather. I almost felt like a student again. Coupa Café may be new in name, but it feels very much like a part of campus life. I’ll probably come back as long as I have reasons to stop by Stanford.

A convenient stop for food and coffee if you’re on the Stanford campus and nearby the Green Library. And, sooooo much better than MoonBeans. Why? 1. Friendly service. 2. Coffee is actually good. 3. High-quality snax. 4. Open later. 5. Thoughtful touches(e.g., lemon water). I still prefer going to the various places in Tressider if I’m looking for a cuppa or a snack. But, this is convenient if I’m parked in The Oval and nearer, say, Building 200 and I don’t feel like traipsing the other direction for something to eat or drink before a class or event.

I think their coffee is alright, I would choose this over starbucks. I especially love their CAFEMOCHA, it has a nice rich chocolate taste to it :) Other than drinks, I usually get their paninis. They have a variety of different menus and their service was quick so I didn’t have to wait long, which made this place great for lunch! GETTHE: 1. Chicken Chipotle: It was delicious! I really like the chipotle sauce, it made the sandwich. 2. WILDSMOKEDSALMON: OMGFAVORITE :) Reminiscent of lox and bagel. I like the taste of the salmon, it was smoky and salty and combined with the cream cheese was soo good. And i liked the chives in it!
