10⁄10 would recommend to anyone who is a painting novice and terribly uncomfortable with giant home improvement stores. The two gentleman who were helping us here(Todd and another employee whose name I didn’t catch) were VERY patient as I lamented over almost every color… and we were only in there for samples. Very helpful and super knowledgeable about the Benjamin Moore line… this was particularly good because I had been looking at a big fan of swatches from a while back. My color names/numbers had been changed over the years and Todd helped me match to the closest current color — or find out that they simply changed Gray Huskie to Ozark Shadow. I will be going back for yet another sample… which will likely take me an hour as well… and to purchase the paint and painting materials, etc. Also they play really badass music in there, so that’s pretty sweet.

This place is terrible… Whenever I do go here it is because I need something and need it quick. Then I always have to go somewhere else because they NEVER have what i’m looking for… It ends up taking me twice as long to get what I need…

Try Netcong Hardware! As a painting contractor, I love having this place close to home. The owner seems a little gruff, but service is excellent and prices are competitive with any Benjamin Moore store I have been to. Good hardware selection too, which most paint stores lack. Convenient hours and 7 days-a-week; you can’t beat it.

I went here the other day just to kill some time. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by a handsome young man who asked me if I needed help. I thanked him and began wandering up and down the aisles. I love hardware stores because they’re filled with stuff that, when you see whatever, you think you can do something with it. They had a beautiful paint selection area and lots of little things like screwdrivers, axes, things like that. Anyway, the two people working there yesterday were very friendly and, if I lived nearby, I would probably try this place before I went to Home Depot or Lowe’s since I prefer to spend money with«the little guy» rather than the big corporations. Support a local business and give Netcong Hardware a try.
