Maybe they were having a bad day… but the experience was pretty disappointing. It took almost an hour for the food to come even though the restaurant was mostly vacant, but this is most likely because they only had one waitress and one cook on hand. The food was not worth the wait — everything was flat and flavorless. I came here because of a recommendation from a good source, so I’m hoping it was just a bad day for the staff. But then again, this is a professional business — they shouldn’t have days this bad.

Sorry, Sue, but the service was dreadfully slow, the omelette was thrown on the grill and delivered flat the size of the plate and extremely dry and un-appetizing, and the coffee cup spent more time empty than full.

2nd time coming here. CASHONLYBUTATMINSIDE* The food is great quantities especially when it comes to the homefries. Even as a big guy Id only order ½ order or share a whole order with someone. This place is a blue collar, hard working mans diner. Older crowd, hunters etc. Nothing super impressive except the food. Grandma and mother would be proud. If you wanna get full on the cheap, come here.

Stopped in for breakfast yesterday and was not disappointed. Had eggs and half order of home fries cooked crisply. These are the best I have ever had and I have been in a lot of diners. You must try these and the other items on the menu which look good too. Great value. Will definitely stop in again.

Good for a change of pace. Cost wise is not bad at all. Expect to bring something home. Small diner. At max two cooks behind the counter and then some waitresses. Seat yourself. A whole order of home fries is overkill. Hubby and I split an order. The sausage, eggs, pancakes, French toast, steak… whatever are cooked on the same grill. The foods are not really seasoned, so if you like flavoring you have salt n pepper and jelly or syrup. Use it or make the food yourself at home.

This diner has been around for years and it is the classic family diner that everyone loves and knows. Don’t judge it by the looks judge it for the good food, inviting staff and friendly atmosphere. Truckers and families can both enjoy Sweet Sues.

I have been here twice for breakfast and once for lunch. The staff is very friendly and service is great. We loved all of our food. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that they sorely need an update. paint the paneling lighter, new curtains, for example.
