Lots of fabrics for great prices. My daughter buys fabric here all the time. I’m on my way to get some fabric for myself today. I am making curtains for my classroom.

Great location to find all sorts of fabrics and trims at a good price; saves driving to Downtown LA. But not matter what they won’t bargain with you.

The selection for pricing here CANNOT be beat besides huffing it to LA for the fabric district. Save on parking, save on drive time, and save on the headache of LA drivers. $ 0.75 yer yard on trims? A wide selection of SPANDEX for $ 6.99 a yard when M&L charges $ 13.99? Yes, please. Color variation is limited on said spandex and on some poplins, but this store should always be your FIRST stop on fabric hunting in the OC area. Employees are complimentary, service with a smile! I’m SO glad my friend showed me this place. It’s always going to be my first choice for value, distance, and diversity. Please ALWAYS stop here. Your wallet and your sanity will thank you for it.

Been driving by this place for years and finally had a free moment to peek in. To my surprise they had a lot of stuff and many crafting items. Wished I stopped in before paying full prices at Joanns Fabrics. Bolts and rolls everywhere, you just need to have some patience and walk thru.
The day I was there, they had organza going for $ 2.99 yd. Definitely coming back for my next sewing project.
They have a private parking lot but always full so be patient waiting.

They’re closed Sunday’s. Also the ladies are not very nice yet they have an amazing selection. So I will be back.

If you are looking for customer service, don’t come here! If you are looking for a small, very messy selection of fabric, this is your place!
Cons:
1-​CASH ONLY! so make sure to bring enough if you intend to buy for a big project or a few projects
2-​owner is not helpful in finding or selecting fabric
3-​messy rolls of fabric stacked on top of each other so it’s difficult to even peruse fabric :(
4-​NO AC! Don’t go on a hot day, or else you won’t even have the oxygen to sort through the mess of fabric
5-​not friendly customer service
6-​little to no selection of sewing accessories
Pros:
1-​decent prices — definitely cheaper than Joann’s, but then again, almost any non-​chain is
2-​has fabric that Joann & even M&L doesn’t have such as a couple selections of stretch silk and lace that’s not attached to mesh backing and some Asian sourced fabrics not available at the other two retailers I mentioned.
I found some beautiful pink lace that I’ve never seen in Joann or M&L that I just fell in love with and was exactly what I was looking for as I’ve seen it on Ready-​To-​Wear fashion in a retail store and wanted to reproduce the skirt I’d seen.
Conclusion: come here if you are looking for something unique that you haven’t been able to find at Joann or M&L… otherwise, it’s not worth the special stop for all the cons mentioned.

this place is awesome! definitely reminds me of the shops in LA’s garment district– kinda small and a little messy, but they really have a nice selection and a wide variety of fabrics and notions; they even have sheets and rolls of velcro, fusible and regular interfacing– but what i realllllly love is their collection of ribbons and lace– they have all colors, widths, designs– all purchased by the length you want– all at dirt cheap prices compared to say– joann’s. still, the fabric may not be as cheap as LA, but i think the laces and ribbons are seriously comparable and worth it.
if you’re in the area and don’t want to drive way to LA, i recommend it~

This was the fifth fabric store I went to looking for cotton jersey to make a dress. I didn’t think it would be so hard to find. I happened to see the Fabric and Craft Outlet as I was driving to M & L fabrics which is a huge store but didn’t have much of a selection. I didn’t expect to find anything at Fabric Outlet because it looks so small, but thought what the heck and popped in to see what they had. From the outside it looks tiny but as soon as you walk in you see that it is deceptively large with racks from floor to ceiling of all different kinds of fabrics and notions. I found everything I needed almost immediately. There are lots of interesting hair accessories and things that I would like to go back and look at when I have more time.
So happy I found this place!

Been coming here for years for almost everything Halloween costumes, pillow cases, table runners… etc… Everything around the house. Love it. Only thing is you need to know the exact measurements you need or else you will have leftover fabrics for nothing. The workers do try to up sale you on the amount you need. Prices are ok. Of course not as compared to Los Angeles fabric district

The prices are reasonable for their fabric. I read many comments about old lady and decided to ignore her the moment I walked in. Yet, an employee greeted me and said they would close in 20 mins so she could help me carry the bolts and hold them while I was going shopping around. They have a huge selection of outdoor fabric, cotton, and stretch fabric as well. Silky fabric was a challenge that I must accomplish. Silky fabrics were hung with safety pins near the end of the isle. They had not so many silky bolts as I expected, but that was okay. Total of 5 yards plus tax was $ 20. Well, they would cost me more at other stores if I bought that many yards of silky fabrics. Will spend more time when I come back.
They accept credit card for purchase over $ 10.

Ok dont get excited, no i don’t sew. I needed some material for my wife hammock project in the back yard. This place has fabric for pretty much any project. The customer service for a lack of better words, is pretty much very straight forward. There will be no holding your hand or over the top customer service, so don’t expect it. But if your patient you will find in time, what your looking for and at a decent price.

I & My Mom went there 2 years ago. There were much stuff we need but we came out this place with a emty hand. The seller even didnt want to look at us. So terribly service!!! Dislike but maybe today I will come back. Hope something change! If not this is the last time I visit…

Absolutely love this place! It’s my little piece of LA in the OC. M&L Fabrics used to be my go-​to fabric store around my area, but only because it was conveniently near my house and had a pretty large selection. The downside was that it was pricier than what I’m used to, but it’s understandable since they are a retail fabric store.
One day I decided to stop by this fabric store since M&L didn’t carry the material I was looking for. Right when I walked it, I fell in love. I’m your DTLA Fabric District kind of girl who rummages through rolls and rolls of fabrics in the la streets. So I was sold when I stepped into this store.
They have a ton of selection and at really reasonable, great prices. If you like spacious, neat atmospheres then this place might not be your taste, but if you’re like me then I definitely 100% recommend this place!

Even though it’s kinda small and messy, I love this store to bits!
I don’t really shop here for the fabric since it is kinda over priced, their selection for lace and elastic is great for someone who works with both everyday like me.
I make lingerie/​lingerie accessories so this store is my go to shop for most material.
Also, the flowers in the back! Pretty reasonable prices on the fake flowers and little bows, good for flower crown making or accessorizing a rave outfit!
I know for many it may be hard to understand what the ladies are saying but if you’re patient and friendly with them, they’re awfully friendly and helpful back! They’ve always helped me with everything I needed and even give me discounts sometimes since i’m there so often and buy such large amounts at a time every time i stop there haha :)

I do not recommend going here. The service is terrible. There are signs that say do not cut fabric but to ask for assistance. When I asked for a small clipping she started uttering in many words that was difficult to understand that they do not do that. I mentioned the sign and she said it’s only sometimes that they do it but couldn’t explain to me the situations. I have never been to a fabric store that has said no to a sample. The women were just chatting away in their native language and the other woman kept interrupting while I was trying to get help.
I think the selection of fabric is pretty good but it’s really messy and a bit difficult to find stuff. If I cannot get the help to get a fabric I need, the selection is useless.

I like this place. Less selection than M&L, but much cheaper nonetheless. The owner was sweet and helpful. She assisted me and mother mother in picking fabrics for some upcoming festivities. One of the workers were nice enough to give me some ideas for my crafting projects. The quality of the fabrics were pretty nice and decently priced. My mother and I ended up leaving with a bag full of fabrics for under $ 20. They do start selling at half a yard minimum! Should save you half of the cost.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Vietnamese lady seemed very annoyed and rushed us out of the store. We wanted to make blankets had about 12 fleece rolls with us. Everytime we asked her to a cut yards of each one, she was annoyed that we had so much to buy!
WTF?! SORRY THAT I WANTED TO ADD TO YOUR PRODUCTION FOR THE DAY, LADY!

Let me just start off by saying I only came here for ribbon so this review is only for their ribbon selection. They do however have a lot of fabric & my parents came here awhile ago to buy fabric to make curtains and they were very pleased. Now back to their ribbons… I would say their selection of ribbon is A-​OK. They do have a lot of plain solid ribbon but their printed ribbon is lacking and a tad expensive (~$ 2/​yard) when you can go to M&L Fabrics for ~$ 1.50/yard and M&L Fabric has a lot more selection. I think I would only come here if I needed basic solid ribbon, but otherwise I may just continue going to M&L for their ribbon since it’s more organized & cleaner there.

The entire store is a bit dusty but the prices are hard to beat. Jumbo spools of thread for sewing are $ 2 for black or white & colours are $ 2.50. Anywhere else they run for triple that price. They don’t have too great of a selection if you are looking for a specific print, but if its a generic theme (xmas) or solids… they have plenty.
p. s. Not exactly stroller friendly… rows are a tad narrow.

Came here with a friend to buy some fabric to make our halloween costumes. The place is Vietnamese-​owned and the size of this outlet is pretty decent. There are lots of fabrics to choose from, you just have to spend the time looking.
At first I was not impressed with the service here. My friend and I came in at 6pm on a Friday. I almost felt like the lady who helped us was rushing us because she told us to make sure we are done before 7pm because that’s when she closes. Eh? I just nicely told her not to worry because we have a good hour left.
Besides that, she was actually helpful. My friend and I needed to get fabrics of different types to make five costumes. The lady who helped us became patient and waited for us to make our fabric selections and she cut them all for us. However, she kept commenting on how little we were buying whenever we bought ½ a yard of a type of fabric. Sorry lady, we buy how much we need so you would stop?! =[
Anyway, we bought over 10 different types of fabric, about 10 yards worth for 5 costumes and that came out about $ 30. Not bad!
