The pasta is always overcooked! Have you heard of al dente?! Look it up. And then teach the concept to your cooks. The service is great though, and the wine list very good.

A true local gym! Don’t let the exterior or somewhat dated interior fool you — this is the place to go in Stanwood. Before we even moved here we heard about people from around the area that go out of there way to stop here. Every hostess/server is amazing no matter what time of day or night I go. I have eaten here with large sports teams taking multiple tables and they are always willing to accommodate. So glad we Jimmy’s in Stanwood!

I was going to order the«individual» Greek style pizza, but our waitress suggested that I should order the«small» since I would be charged extra for some ingredients that are in the Greek pizza if I got as the«individual». It was an excellent choice and I had leftovers for the next day. My husband had the lasagna and also tried two slices of my pizza and he really enjoyed it too. Looking forward to going back and trying something different. Oh, wait… I forgot to mention the house salad we had with ranch dressing. YUM! We both loved that dressing! I asked the waitress if they sold the dressing and they do!

Today I drove more than hour from Redmond(and the same back) just to eat at Jimmy’s. The ‘Greek-Style’ pan pizza here is just that good. Now, to preface, it’s important to note that there are many styles of pizza. If you’re particular to something like the thinner/Neapolitan crust that you’d find at Tutta Bella or Serious Pie, or the casserole-like Chicago deep dish you’d find at Delfino’s or Kylie’s, this may not be your thing; Jimmy’s is, instead, at least as far as I’ve experienced, a paragon of the pan pizza style. The crust is full-bodied with an outer crisp and inner chew, alternating buttery-golden-brown and lighter white texture all across the bottom and up the sides. The cheese is ample without being overpowering and goes all the way to the edge, making the«pizza bones»(cornicione) all the better. Toppings are allocated generously and evenly, creating a very dense and hearty pizza that fits the crust style well. It might even verge on «too much» topping, but that’s a personal preference. Expect to feel full a piece or two sooner than you would with a traditional pizza. The quality of the ingredients is significantly above average. The cheese has a great melted texture without being oily, and the meats are likewise flavorful and juicy without creating a sea of grease. I don’t know how Jimmy’s pulls off a 4+ meat pizza without a sheen all along the top of it, but it’s magic. Tasty magic. Vegetable-wise, the salads are okay but nothing spectacular; the roasted chicken, on the other hand, is phenomenal – just like the other meats, it’s incredibly tender and juicy, breaking apart with just a fork and bursting with some sort of marinated flavor. I haven’t tried the pasta, but it looks«OK.» I can’t see myself ever deviating from the pizza, though. Potential downsides? Well, you’ll need to wait a bit – this style of pizza takes longer than the usual – but you should expect that. It’s also a little pricier than you might expect(larges generally top $ 20), but it’s worth the premium in my mind. There’s also a slight degree of inconsistency that you’d expect in any small business; the crust has ranged from absolute perfection(crispy outer layer with inner chew throughout) to 30−40% perfection(with the rest being just a *bit* soggy and crisp-less), but even at its relative worst, Jimmy’s has been better than the best I’ve had elsewhere. It’s probably good for my wallet – and waistline – that Stanwood and Jimmy’s is a good 50 miles away from me. But that isn’t going to stop me from making a pilgrimage from time to time!

This is some authentic Italian pie! Love this place. I have had pasta dishes, seafood, and pizza and have not had a bad dish yet!

Not bad not great. We ordered to go and the Jimmy the Greek pizza was ready very fast as well as the cheese bread. The pizza while it had super good items was so salty I couldn’t finish more than one slice. The cheese bread was just cheese bread. We will try other items hopefully with better results.

I am not a huge Pizza person. But man are their ribs and spaghetti amazing. Perfect date night location in Stanwood. Would be a 5 star if the prices were a bit better. But the food and drinks are awesome

What can I say I gave it a five star rating! Jimmy’s has been consistently good since opening their doors decades ago. They are by far the best Italian restaurant around. Their pizzas are good, their salads are good, every pasta dish. I have never had a bad meal from these guys. They don’t deliver that’s the only downside. But we’re always willing to call in an order and pick it up because it’s that good. Yes, they are spendy but they are so worth it. Always busy, but that’s a good sign of how good the food is. If you’re in the area don’t miss out!

Delicious!!! EVERYTIME!!! They have a wide selection of classic italian dishes and pizzas. They do get really busy, so weekends its takes quite a while to get a seat. We gave up on that and generally just order pizza for takeout. Their pizza is to die for! Cheese bread. meh not so much. The pizza is even great for leftovers the next day… we always order way too much.

We went back and ended up with great service and great food. I still highly recommend only getting the pizza as I haven’t had very good luck with the other items on the menu.

We were a party of 4 during the busy weekday lunch time. We all had the lunch special consisting of a 6 inch pizza with a green salad and beverage. We all thought the pizza was excellent and the salad with their excellent dressings very good. Portions were just right for me, my wife couldn’t finish all of hers. The price was reasonable, service was fast and efficient. We will certainly return next time we’re in town and in the mood for pizza or Italian.

I make sure to eat here every time i visit family in the area. The meatball and chicken ranch grinder sandwiches are legit, the Jimmy the Greek pizza always tastes fresh, and even the house salads taste amazing and come with generous sides of salad dressing.

I am a pizza snob from outside chicago, I expect a lot. Although not thin crust pizza, it is a very crispy crust pan pizza with very good ingredients, the sausage was excellent. The baked tortellini with meatballs was good but the sauce was a bit sweet for me. Can’t wait to go back to try the pesto.

I’ve been going to Stanwood for years to get my hair cut and I always pass this place. It’s always packed — but I never thought to try it. My husband and I were staying on Camano Island over the weekend and we decided to try some pizza. Oh wow was it good! We got it to go so I can’t say anything about the service but the pizza itself was amazing. We got a medium Spartan pizza and ate the whole thing. Everything was good about it. I especially loved the thicker cut mushrooms since every time I get pizza anywhere else they’re thin and soggy. The sausage was actually crumbled Italian sausage, not the pre formed stuff out of a bag. The crust had really good flavor and even my husband(who isn’t a crust fan) liked it! They also piled on the toppings! Next time we’re in Stanwood, we’ll be stopping again and this time we’ll dine in so we can try a few different things!

In my opinion, Jimmy’s Pizza and Pasta is just okay. I’ve eaten here a handful of times and have never been able to figure out what the hype is surrounding this place. They always seem to be busy but maybe it’s because of the limited dining choices in the area??? I’ve never had a bad experience but also never had a great one. Their pizza is good, their pasta is gross. Every time someone in my family has ordered a pasta dish here, it is so unbelievably salty to the point where it is inedible after a few bites. The servers are usually young looking high school girls who don’t look very excited to be at work. The ones we’ve had are not very attentive. They take your order, bring your food and bring your check. No checking in during the meal or seeing if you’d like a refill on a drink. I’ve had to practically beg for a few extra napkins. This place is just meh… Nothing special.

The golden standard in Italian family dining, with a greek twist. I’ve been taking meals with regularity here over the last eight years. Pizzas, pastas and traditional american fare are served by a very competent and friendly waitstaff. It’s been here for a long time and will most likely remain for a long time. Guy Ferreri of Triple D fame should come on down to this flavortown, Jimmy’s is that kind of place.
