Sahara Pizza

Tonight was the second time we ordered delivery from this place… The first time we ordered we used their online method to place the order and made sure to include special instructions for the delivery driver, since our home is a new construction and hasn’t been entered into google maps, ect as of yet. We live less than 10 minutes away from the restaurant, so we were surprised when it arrived cold, soggy and falling apart — but we figured it could have been a fluke and we’d give it another try tonight anyways. We followed the same procedure in ordering and one hour after we placed the order, the delivery driver called to confirm our address and assure us that he would be leaving shortly. One hour after receiving that call, my husband called the restaurant because our order still hadn’t been delivered. We were reassured that while our food hadn’t yet left the store, it would be leaving shortly. 30 minutes later, we still didn’t have our pizza so we called again — only to be told that the delivery driver «couldn’t find our address». By this time it was 8:30pm and we had submitted our order around 6pm. At that point my husband was fed up and just asked for a refund. We rarely order pizza or eat out at all, so for our two young kids getting pizza is a treat. We were sorely disappointed with the customer service and quality of Sahara Pizza and won’t be ordering from them again.

I’ve had pizza from Sahara Pizza delivered next door several times. Always tasty and quickly delivered. The people who work there were friendly and helpful with my order. The order area and cooking are were noticeably clean and personnel had aprons and hair pulled back. I was very satisfied with service, personnel, and product. Thanks.

FYI… I would avoid Sahara Pizza Stanwood WA. My daughter and boyfriend ate there last night 02−05−16, and both are sicker than dogs, coming out both ends. Instantly, both got sick. They called and the owner says, «I don’t what to tell you all our stuff is made fresh. Well MR OWNER, fresh means nothing without proper washing and employee cleanliness! GROSS. Never going there EVERE.

I’m actually surprised by the low reviews. I’ve never been in the restaurant and, to be honest, have no clue if it’s an eat-​in place. When we first milo bed to this remote area we struggled finding a place that would deliver a pizza! The first few we ordered we had to pick up and it was costly.
Then I found Sahara! Thank goodness! They do their best to get you pizza when it’s hot. One time it wasn’t super hot but, that’s evidence they’re busy– contrary to other reviews. Other times they’re here as quickly as possible but they do get very busy.
The pizza has always, always been cooked fresh and has wonderful flavor. Chicken Bacon Ranch has quickly become a family favorite. I love having the ability to order online, crafting my own pizza– I can have the wonderful white sauce and add chicken, artichokes, bacon– and whatever else sounds great.
I’m very satisfied with Sahara pizza and always tip the driver– he tries very hard to get everyone pizzas that are warm. Having a busy night and an area to deliver to that is widely separated can make that a challenge. Kudos to you Sahara! We are repeat customers and will continue to be!
Add a frequent flyer card and we’ll be in business!

Ok, it’s Monday and therefore pizza is half priced. Yay! Got ourselves a 16 inch pie. Ordered in person, got it in 15 minutes, drove to the cabin and scarfed it down. Hot, tasty, lots of toppings and great sauce. I think it being half priced makes it the right price. If I paid full price I might feel differently. Not bad… beats anything Papa Murphys makes.

Called to order a gluten free pizza and some food for some friends. They delivered to Camano, but I had to hit a $ 40 minimum. I am sorry, but talk about scamming for money. I work with Pizza companies all the time. I also lived on Camano at one point. The sad thing is I always tip 20%, even for delivery. But two adults and some children (young) cannot eat $ 40 worth of pizza. I try real hard to be understanding, all for supporting local businesses, but this was ridiculous.

The pizza at Sahara is yummy but I have to say that they are super stingy on the toppings. I paid for extra mushrooms and each slice had only one or two small pieces of mushroom on it. That is the same for all the toppings… If you order italian sausage, you get one or two pieces on each slice. If you order olives, you get one or two on each slice. I feel that this is unacceptable. When I order a pizza, I order it for the toppings I want, not just bread, sauce and some cheese.
The most recent order we had was for a 14 inch «Sahara» pizza. We had just gotten a new flyer/​menu that day in the mail. The prices advertised were not what we were charged. The price on the new menu sent to us was $ 17.99 and we were charged $ 19.78. Then there was tax, a delivery charge from the store and finally a tip for the delivery person. Our $ 17.99 pizza ended up costing us $ 27.94. I feel pretty ripped off paying that price for one pizza which hardly had any toppings on it.
I don’t think we’ll order from Sahara anymore. The price just isn’t worth it for what you get. It’s too bad they are the only pizza establishment that delivers to Camano Island that I’m aware of. The next time we want pizza, we’ll just swing by somewhere else on the way home and pick it up.

This is some pretty greasy pizza. Flavors are plain. The delivery time isn’t bad but save yourself and go to another pizza joint or buy a frozen pizza.

Just finished a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ XL Combo of ‘Hawaiian Passion /​Ultimate Sahara’. It was a nice change of pizza flavor/​texture… plenty of toppings and great crust. In all, for ~$ 23.00, can’t complain and will definitely keep in-​mind for future eats in Camano/​Stanwood. As far as I saw, this is only a Take-​Out and Delivery place.

Not bad at all. Got take away, it was pretty decent pizza and the guy at the counter was nice.

Great helpful service, awesome people, and great pizza too. Not a place for people who want their shoes shined while they wait.

This location is basically only for takeout and delivery. They only have one table and a soda vending machine inside. The guys in there are definitely pretty scrubby and the pizza took forever, but they were nice enough and the pizza was pretty decent.

I love Sahara Pizza. The food is great and the people are very nice. They always get you deals and deliver fast. Definitely recommend.

We thought the pizza was pretty good until we had some very bad service one night. We were told that our pizza would be delivered in 45 minutes on a Tuesday night. After an hour and a half of waiting, we finally called to find out where our pizza was and were told it would be delivered any minute. We ended up waiting 2 hours total and the pizza was lukewarm, bad enough to the point that we didn’t even eat it.
We called back that night to ask for a new pizza or to have our money refunded, and we were told that next time we called in they would give us a new pizza. They took our info and gave us their name.
We tried calling back a few weeks later to get our «credit» pizza only to be told they had no record of our conversation. They were not cooperative or understanding at all and we will not be giving them our business again.
