This place is great and is my go-​to spot for all things A/​V. They’re prices can’t be beat and since they’re in the BK, there’s no shipping time/​costs to deal with. Each time I ordered online and received the product ready to roll on time from their warehouse. One time they were actually out of stock on an item I ordered, so they upgraded me to a larger system at no charge. Gotta love that. Def check these guys out if you need a system! The only reason I docked a star is because the location is tough to find and I always think no one is there (even though they’ve always been there lol).

Insanely great. Placed an order online late at night. Guys called me early the next morning to let me know the one I’d ordered actually wasn’t available, but walked me through other solutions. Super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Greenpoint is so far from Manhattan tho!!!

I have rented speakers from here twice before for house parties, and always had a great experience. Their packages are reasonably priced, and equipment quality is excellent and easy to assemble.
I do recommend getting a taxi or renting a car for pickup and drop-​off though, as delivery costs $ 100 (more than the speaker package, depending on which one you get).

I was looking around for lights to rent for my wedding since my DJ didnt have light equipment. I Unilocaled around and found this place. I emailed them and got a response right away. I looked a their website and choose my pakage and called them so they can explain what each entitle they were so helpfulll!
We signed the contract, the day before the wedding we went to pick the stuff up and realized the equipment wouldn’t fit in the car and we didnt have someone to pick the stuff up with a big enough truck. They accommodated* a drop off and pick up after the wedding that same night. And texted my DJS to tell them theyre outside. They even explained to them how to set it up and put it down.

I rented AV equipment for a high profile dinner with celebrity chefs and also hired a tech for the evening. Sound quality was abysmal as was the tech’s presentation and skills. My client was furious, understandably so. When I went back to PRO AV, all they did was equivocate, prevaricate and blame me for what were their failings. I would never use this company again and would caution other consumers to be very careful.

Had a BBQ party in my backyard, so I needed speakers. Had my friends DJ the party, and they recommended what apparently was an unnecessarily large sounds system. LOL. When I called to place the order, this place did not just take the order i asked for, but instead, asked questions to determine what i needed. Talk about saving me some cash. I would have spent $ 185 more if I would have gone with what I initially ordered.
Needless to say, the speakers I got worked perfectly and the party was awesome! That guy Chris really knows his stuff.

I needed lights for a wedding I was djing at so I googled what was around me. I came across Pro AV Rentals and decided to give them a try. I ended up working with Justin via phone and email a week before the event and the rental went smooth. I plan on using them again in near future. Cheers!

It was my first time ordering speakers from a company for an event for 300+ people. I was unsure of what to order and what I would need to make it all work. I looked at this website online, found the system that I thought would work best and called to make the reservation. It was very easy and Justin was very helpful with my long list of questions. He knew which cables I would need and was very good at explaining the process. For an extra fee they delivered the speakers, which was well worth the small fee. It would have taken me more time and money to rent a car and go pick it up (and most likely get lost) than it took for them to deliver.
The speakers, amp and mic arrived just a few minutes late, but I feel like that is to be expected. He explained the setup and I went ahead and hooked it all up. He was available to me via email and cell phone so I was able to contact him with a few more of my questions. He was very patient and did a great job explaining the setup process.
When it came time to clean-​up, the rep was right on time to pick up the speakers.
The speakers worked great and were perfect for my needs. I will definitely use their speakers again for future events.
If Justin is an indication of how the rest of their company runs, I would recommend DJ Gear and Speaker rental to anybody.
