Great friendly staff as soon as we entered! Got the cinnamon roll latte and it was 10⁄10. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Ideal local grown breakfast place, could eat here every morning if I lived here

This is a go-to place for great food, coffee, and tea. The food is all healthy and fresh and they try to source it locally. Vegan, gluten free, and other healthy diet plans are fully supported.

Let’s see… well I finally caught them on a day they were on op n when they were suppose to be. This is was my second attempt at this place! No harm no foul I suppose. Me and my fiancé were on a bike ride abs decided to stop for a snack we were not disappointed at all! The turkey sandwich was Amazing! It had a creamy sauce and bacon that Ithaca it it a little something special. We also split a berry tart:-) it was a tad of a struggle being that we are both greedy next time we will not share lol. The food was really good and the service was pretty fast! And you can’t beat the view outside at all! We sat on the covered patio and watched the bikers and runners They have bike parking right in front and I was totally fine with leaving my bike I wasn’t worried at all actually.

As a coffee bar, 4⁄5 stars, as a restaurant 1⁄5. I really want to recommend Terra, but after several bad food experiences I absolutely cannot. I’ve eaten at Terra maybe 5 over the past year. In that time, I have had bacon come out that was actually so burnt(not crispy, just completely burnt) it was inedible and, just recently, received a chicken sausage patty that appeared uncooked in the center. Don’t get me wrong, their coffee drinks are great, their staff are wonderful and friendly, and their granola bars are amazing, but something has to be corrected with the quality control for me to ever recommend the food that comes out of the kitchen.

I have a pretty restricting diet due to a digestive disease, but was thrilled to discover that the staff here are very friendly and accommodating! They got out their recipe book and checked every item for ingredients I couldn’t eat, and I ended up with a very delicious grilled chicken salad with lemon dressing and the tastiest gluten-free bread I’ve ever had on the side! The atmosphere is cozy and casual, and I like not being checked-up on by servers every 10 minutes. Overall, I really enjoy every visit here and definitely recommend it for a delicious and healthy lunch or dinner!

I enjoyed my meal at Terra Café, the menu is compact as far as the number of items available, but those selections are diverse. the space itself is well designed, and the service was prompt and efficient. The bill was a tad expensive for what we ordered, but the quality of the food was clearly very high. I especially like having the option for local products and selections.

Went in on a Sunday. Sunday brunch was not what I expected. Very few dishes available to choose from. Over priced for what you get. Cool place and they had a live band but the food was horrible.

I stopped in for a bite to eat between lunch and dinner and had a pumpkin whoopie pie and french press coffee. The food was delicious, but pretty overpriced. When I ordered the coffee brand I wanted, they were out of stock and tried to give me three other brands they had in stock. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as tasty as the Blue Mountain Coffee, which I know is delicious. They may want to keep more of that in stock. The menu is small, but the food is good. Overpriced, but fresh and local so I won’t complain too much. However, if one isn’t concerned with local products, this place loses its luster. Overall, I would probably come back if I just needed a pot of coffee to accompany my schoolwork. I don’t know that I’d come back for solely the food though. While it was pretty tasty, it wasn’t quite worth how much they charged. I may as well go home and make it myself for that much.

Completely underwhelmed by the brunch offering. With 20 minutes left in the brunch hours, we were greeted by being told that only a few minutes remained for a meal we decided to risk it, big mistake. The food, though interesting, was mostly cold and old. At $ 20/person, there are certainly better options out there. Disappointing!

So it lacks in quality control. Folks taking order super friendly. People bringing out food– not so much. Here’s your food. No– Can I get you anything else? And No one stops back after serving to see how it is! Just not good service. Food OK– all the extra ingredients like apples on sand which can barely taste. Desserts are great though. Step it up Terra

My group stopped by Terra to order breakfast and coffee. The coffee and drinks were fantastic. The breakfast was made of high quality ingredients, but not particularly well prepared. I ordered the steak and eggs. In my opinion, the sign of a good breakfast joint is accurately cooking eggs to order. Terra failed hard… or over medium to be exact. My «over medium» eggs came out a very runny over easy. The steak was of decent quality, but also came out at a much different temperature(extremely rare/raw instead of medium rare) than I had ordered. If I were to return, I’d stick with the coffee.

I used to love this place and have tried to go get breakfast 3x in the last month but I guess they don’t serve it anymore. Not a fan of their new dinner menu, wish they had more robust offerings. Huge fan of the outdoor space since its been redone. I will keep trying with Terra Café and hoping its both open and serving food when I go next time.

First and foremost: their hours have expanded, and I believe all hours are food serving hours. There’s a short break between breakfast and lunch where they swap menus(like 30 or 60 minutes I believe), but that’s it. I’m not a super regular, but so far whenever I show up, they’re open. I work from home(I’m a designer), and like to get out of the house now and then. Terra has quickly become my favorite spot to work from: free refills on coffee, plenty of snacks to pick from, rotating specials, a variety of small tables near power outlets, and free wifi. There’s also always a few other laptop-toting professionals or students, so you never feel like the one out-of-place person with a laptop. And let’s talk about the menu: a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch options that range from healthy to slightly-less-healthy, which is miles apart from most Morgantown cafes. They have plenty of treats, smoothies, drinks, appetizers, and more to try. I’ve recently become addicted to their hummus, splashed with balsamic: it’s oh-so-tasty. Service is pretty typical for a café: they’re kind and attentive when placing the order, but you’ll never see them otherwise. Wouldn’t expect else-wise from a café, and I honestly prefer that to being constantly waited on. Never had an issue in my 10+ visits. My only complaint is that some of the food is a little underwhelming, especially for the price. It looks great, tastes okay, and am never blown away. Quality seems on point, it’s just the flavor and originality of certain items leave you feeling a bit uninspired. Still, I visit here somewhat frequently(once or twice a month), and always leave satisfied. Highly recommended as a casual date spot, café to grab a quick bite or coffee, a retreat from work or school for an hour or two, or even as a spot to grab a craft beer and tasty snack after work.

Traveling through the area and so glad I made a point to stop– I don’t think I’ll be able to pass through without a stop here from now on! Super fresh and balanced options. House made desserts, local produce, and creative combinations. I would agree with other posters that service was not exemplary, a bit unfriendly and perhaps they are lacking some attention to detail(my salmon club came out without any toppings) but the food more than makes up for it! I waited *maybe* 10 minutes during a busy lunch hour.

My favorite place to eat in Morgantown. Great food for a great price that’s very natural. Would eat there every day if I could. Never had something there I didn’t like. You have to try the chai nana smoothie and the pepperoni rolls.

Stopped by after a friend suggested trying the food. Ordered a take out that included a salad, a wrap, and a sandwich. Counter person was polite and explained sides but she either has a cold or something else is going on. Food was pricey but consistent with freshly made and healthy fare. Order came out after 15 minutes… so far so good. Walked to the car and discovered I wasn’t given utensils and napkins. Now shouldn’t a take out order include utensils and napkins? The answer is yes. Walked back and had to ask for them. Okay… no problem. The food was plentiful and eye appeasing… but totally lacked any flavors. Had healthy food before, even gluten free stuff but these meals were disappointing. They have two stars because of the convenience and quantity of food. Unfortunately I will not be a return customer.

Not kidding 6th time I have been here only able to eat a muffin one time. Came this morning 22nd Aug sat and 29 Aug Sat, and though they were supposed to open at 8 am, they had a sign saying sorry come back at 11. The muffin and drink I had one time was not good. Here is what has happened with my visits. 1st time I came and it was in between their breakfast and lunch time so they don’t serve food, 2nd time they were closed the day after a holiday, 3rd time I can’t remember what the issue was, 4th time they don’t serve food after 2 pm on Sunday and 5th/6th time closed when they should be open. I feel like I need to be a psychic to eat here. Their hours on the door say nothing about their non-serving food ways… yes you can get coffee type drinks.

Came here for a quick late breakfast/quick lunch just as they were changing the menu. Tip: Come early and beat the crowds. I had the quinoa fig apple salad and my hunny had a sandwich(I forget which one). I also picked up the Chai and Oatmeal Banana Smoothie which was delicious. I live in Philly where the epicenter of good dining depends on the awesomeness of food meeting a good price. This place would be able to survive a big city if they ever took their creative efforts to one. The food is incredibly healthy and perfectly proportioned for the price. I want to come back for breakfast. Even though I live 5 hours away, I will be back without hesitation.

This really does seem like a hidden gem in the heart of Morgantown. Although every time I come here, I’ve only gotten the chai nana, which is a smoothie/shake made of almond milk, bananas, oats, and cinnamon. I would say that it’s so refreshing to have on a breezy spring afternoon or a warm summer day, but I come here year-round for this. Sometimes I’ll come here with friends and sit as we enjoy our drinks. They have bookshelf cubbies next to you so you can grab a game of checkers, bananagrams, or browse some art books. Only 4 stars though, because I came here once for coffee and it was just meh. tasted very plain. Hoped for better coffee from a café. I can’t wait to come back here to try their brunch, or their amazing-looking bakery goods, or their awesome sounding lunch sandwiches… oh well, until next time. I think this place definitely has potential and I hope to give 5 stars after I try the other things on the menu!

While visiting a girlfriend to watch her present her dissertation and get her PhD(!!), we stopped here for breakfast a couple times on her recommendation. They have a great selection of specialty coffees and breakfast items as well as pastries and desserts. I had their egg scramble with home fries– delish! The shop is a bit small and tucked away in a industrial park, so grad an open seat if you see one ASAP! Coffee was great, breakfast fantastic, service was good and prices great. A hidden gem perfect for breakfast– I’d come again for sure!
