When we arrived it was a nice surprise to see a valet, he was absolutely wonderful and truly helped make it a nice experience. We skipped the lounge and went straight to the dining room where we were seated right away since we had reservations. The waitress was great, it was easy to see how incredibly busy she was and it took her over 10 minutes to get our drinks to us, but wasn’t a big deal. As Italians we both felt the«red sauce» was bland, but the rest of our meal was perfect. We had 2 appetizers, drinks, and we each added upgrades to our meals and with tip it was around $ 120. All in all we really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back.

Overpriced. Not very good. Steak was good… but everything else was garbage. When ordering a steak they ask would you like mushrooms, onions, peppers? You say yes. You are charged $ 15 for those without notice. Will never be back there.

service is decent– for how expensive this place is, I’m surprised the cheap décor isn’t upgraded. For instance the only serve iceburg lettuce? Who doesn’t have greens for a salad when you are spending 18-$ 32 on a dinner? Food was decent– so complaints there. But for the price of their dinners, there needs to be significant upgrades for the quality of the Gordon Food Service food.

So disappointed. Tough steak, rice that smelled of cleaning solvent, bad service, food covered in oil. Even the beer was flat. Worst of all, nobody cared when we politely pointed out our dismay. They did take off one entrée so they get two stars. Got to say everyone I talked to liked the place but it was a truly dreadful experience for us. I could go on and mention 10 other complaints but you get the picture.

We were in Canton for two nights for work and spent both of them eating at Lucia’s. Everyone we asked told us to come here and everyone was right. The service was terrific and friendly, but the steak… wow. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Cooked exactly right and beautiful texture and flavor. Apparently, there’s an Amish farm a few miles away that supplies the beef. The sides are great and the bartender has a heavy hand with the bourbons. I doubt I’ll make it to Canton again, but if I do, I will eat as many meals as I can at Lucia’s.

Had reservations here Saturday night and got right in. We ordered an appetizer that was on special, medium peppers stuffed with chorizo and topped off with cheese and a marinara sauce. The appetizer was very good yet it was not stuffed with chorizo, more like a sweet Italian sausage. I had the filet that was cooked wonderfully with home fries that were amazing. This is always a good place, our waitress was attentive and very nice.

Everything from the second we walked in until the second we left was excellent! Great food, service and atmosphere! There were 6 of us, so we shared lots and everything was fabulous !!

Just had a business dinner here. The recommendations were predictably the most expensive entrees. I can’t speak for the Boston Strip Streak, as my business traveling companion ordered that and raved. I can say this: ORDERTHECHILEANSEABASS. Get the side of linguine Alfredo. I am a cook at heart and a foodie at soul. This meal was AMAZING. I did not pay the extra for the Roquefort dressing, but I wish I had. 4 drinks. 2 amazing entrees with add-ons. AMAZING service. $ 120 with tip. Run, don’t walk.

The incredible petit filet made the trip to Lucia’s worthwhile. Save all your money for the beef and get a unique classy cocktail.

Have had the filet and the strip. They are both so good I have trouble giving them up to try one of the Italian entrees. The quality of the meat is prime and it is aged well. Cooked perfectly with a nice crust. I am not a fan of Baker’s on the south side. This is one of the two best steaks in Canton as far as I am concerned. Lucca is the other. The hot peppers go great with the steaks. The bread they supply is crusty on the outside and light and chewy on the inside. The white French and the red Roquefort dressing are both fantastic. You will not regret trying this place for steak.

Popped in during a weeknight for dinner with the boyfriend. Steaks were every bit as delicious as I recall… but they were a bit undercooked to our specifications. Bummer. Bar service is the way to go… always. Attentive service.

I was really impressed with Lucia’s. We made a reservation, and when we got there, there was a bit of a line. We had a booth reserved for us, which was nice because the tables seemed very exposed. We started with the Pepper Bread — which was AMAZING! I could have just eaten that bread all night. He had the large filet, medium rare, with a baked potato and cesar salad. I had the small Boston strip, medium rare with baked potato and cesar salad. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The server did an excellent job of timing the meal correctly. Our steaks were beautiful and soft and so buttery. Such a gem in Belden Village, where the chains are taking over. I’d definitely recommend if you prefer a Mortons or Ruth Chris type of evening, but at one third of the price. Next time, I’m getting lobster tail and the crab cakes. I hear they are divine.

4.5 stars. As far as Canton goes, probably the best place to get a steak in town. Let me start by saying this is a really nice place to just hang out as well. Their lounge is calm, with average noise and very comfortable feeling. They serve really good drinks and have great scotch pours(which is very important to me). The chopped salad with the red Roquefort dressing is AMAZING. Probably the best salad I’ve had; if not top 3 for sure. Also, get the crab cake appetizer… also in the top that I have had. I have had the filet and the Boston strip. And for me its not even close… the Boston strip is far superior. I got mine done medium rare and it was perfect with a outstanding crust on the outside. I was really not a fan of the famous Lucia’s peppers(and I love peppers of all kinds). It is expensive, but not more so than any other fine steakhouse. Probably a birthday or anniversary place for most, but regardless when you go you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Italian fare and steakhouse. I grew up with this place when it was located in Canton at Mahoning &12th.

I had the petite filet and crabcakes as an app. Filet was a little too salty but the crabcakes were perfect! The service was great as well. We also had a bottle of the moscato d’asti which was sweet and crisp! Definitely would come back!

Really can’t believe this gets such rave reviews, I’ve been here now twice since it has changed locations, and have been extremely disappointed each time, it seems that this is another of this canton businesses that can’t live up to what it used to be, I won’t be headed back

Lucia’s Boston cut strip(16 oz preferred) is the best cut here, & holds it own for flavor vs. some of the Hyde Park, Ruth’s Chris, & Morton’s. The Lucia peppers marinated in oil are a must have as well, especially paired w/the Italian bread. The hot is just right with a little bite, but nothing that burns your mouth so you can’t properly enjoy the entrée. The other favorite side is the home fries(extra crispy). I’ve taken various customers or suppliers to Lucia’s, and have not been disappointed. We enjoy sitting in the lounge area, and the background noise is minimal. Enjoy Lucia’s when you go, as the staff is wonderful as well.

Sometimes when you’re at a restaurant for a private party, the quality of the food and service takes a hit because of the size of the crowd. Definitely not the case at Lucia’s. My family hosted the rehearsal dinner for my brother’s wedding at Lucia’s and the restaurant was not only easy to work with, but the event was fabulous. The staff was attentive and at the same time, made their presence relatively unknown, as they respected that it was an intimate, family affair. It was the perfect place to celebrate my brother and sister-in-law’s impending marriage and the joining of our families. The food was outstanding and left everyone more than satisfied. With the entrée selections of chicken parmigiana, penne and strip steak, how could you go wrong? Of course, being the carnivore I am, I went with the strip, and it was cooked to a perfectly medium temperature. It was like butter. I wasn’t crazy about the sides(broccoli and a baked potato) but it didn’t matter — dessert more than made up for it. The chocolate mousse was to die for; the texture was light and fluffy, but still tasted extremely rich. If you’re looking to plan a special evening or private party, Lucia’s is a great choice. You’ll not only have the perfect atmosphere to entertain your guests, but the food will leave them impressed as well.
