Poor service and mediocre food! There won’t be a repeat visit! First we waited extremely long to be served and then we discovered that our waitress was physically present but her mind was on vacation. My food was bland and my husband’s steak was so tough and full of grizzle that it was not edible. After complaining, he was served another steak but again, not edible. The only positive in this restaurant experience was that the manager comped the steak meal.

We were in Starkville on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We ate here twice… The salad bar was always fresh and the service was excellent. My experience with Ruby Tuesdays is that the salad bar is great as long as it’s not closing time. The low country grits and shrimp was steaming hot and was very tasty. They serve a decent cup of Joe too.

Definitely one of the better Ruby Tuesdays I’ve been to. The Fresh salad bar was included in my meal. So I got to create my own salad. I ordered the bourbon salmon with Sweet potato fries and grill zucchini. The zucchini was so good I will order that as an appetizer next time. Everything was cooked perfection. And I am a very needy customer. My Waitress Brittany made sure that we had everything we needed. Ask for her when you go.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. 1 star is being generous. Late lunch at this restaurant on Wednesday. We were the only customers. The food was horrible. Coffee was cold, salad bar was wilted with very few items on it, sliders were nothing but meat and bun no dressing, nothing. When asked waitress if something was supposed to be on it her response was yes I think so. Left and came back with a small container of sauce and said the cook forgot to put it on. Crab cakes were undercooked pieces of dough. We are not hard to please people but being the only customers you would think this restaurant could get something right. First time back to this restaurant in 3 years. Will never go again. Bad food, bad service, bad experience. If you are looking for a restaurant save your money and don’t visit this one.

We’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past few weeks and it’s been good every time. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they were out of mushrooms on the salad bar and in the kitchen 2 days in a row last week and today there were no tomatoes on the salad bar.

I would give this place a zero for service. We ordered a bottle of wine. No wine cork. Go figure. My fish was undercooked and we addressed with waitress at the end of our meal. She said she would take care of it. Didn’t, it was on our bill. Asked to talk with manager. He was by far the most incompetent manager we have ever dealt with. He was on the defense and blamed the bartender for no wine opener and they took the temp of fish and it was fine, so we were wrong. I was, no the fish was undercooked. He said we were being disrespectful by asking him to address the wine cork and undercooked fish. We were like what? Are you kidding us? He kept repeating we were disrespectful. I’m not even sure how we the customers can be «disrespectful» asking for complaints to be addressed. Run from this Ruby Tuesdays. Hopefully, corporate will get our email and clean house with this«customer is wrong» attitude. We are professionals who travel and use Ruby Tuesday as value and customer service. This was so bad, it was unbelievable. Get this right corporate! The place was empty. Now you know why.

Can you do zero stars??? This was one of the worst visits I’ve ever had to a restaurant. I hate making negative reviews. But had to this time. Horrible service in the bar and it wasn’t busy. Salad bar was soggy and half of the items missing. Then the entrée. Oh man. Ordered the Parmesan chicken pasta. Noodles not cooked right, gummy and kind of hard. Luke warm dish. Chicken tastes freezer burnt. Now the worst part. The kitchen is near the bar. I’ve never heard such obnoxious people as they ones back there. Just cutting up and yelling and singing really loud(badly). It was so amazingly unprofessional I can’t even describe it. I actually hate the fact I’m too tired to get up and go somewhere else. This place needs to be avoided at all cost. Go to mcdonalds and you will have a better experience. Which saddens me badly as I used to LOVE ruby Tuesday’s. They don’t have any where I live so to be able to stop in while out of town was supposed to be a good thing.

Until about a week ago, this would have been a 3* rating for me due to their salad bar, which I generally regarded as the best in town. Yes, it’s a chain, and not a particularly good one, but they did deliver a good salad bar. Today, however, I literally had to run out of the place because my waitress smelled awful. Not just a she-could-have-used-some-deodorant or a too-much-perfume bad, but a dirt under the fingernails type of awful that is going to have me fighting nausea all afternoon. I doubt I will ever go back. Yes, it is only one bad experience after several years of passable visits, but it is one of those experiences I will struggle to forget.

Maybe they were just having a bad night. We ate here last night. I ordered the cheddar sliders. Tasted like they were reheated in a microwave oven. They were dry and tasteless. My wife ordered the blackened tilapia with spaghetti squash and potatoes. The spaghetti squash was undercooked and the potatoes were cold. At the salad bar all of the plates were dirty with food stuck on them. I told the staff and the top plates were wiped with a towel. 7−12−14

I know it’s a chain restaurant but it’s pretty good. Their salad bar is amazing, it’s definitely a meal in itself. With over 15 items to create your salad, it’s worth the price. My co-worker ordered a burger with fries and said it was pretty good.

Just another chain restaurant. Food is ok, service was great, the best thing at this place is the Salad Bar, wow 11: 20 on Sunday 10 minute wait only two tables that are seated in the whole restaurant, watched 3 couples come and go refusing to wait on an empty restaurant,

This place is a great big«meh.» The service is just OK. The drinks are ridiculously expensive and watered-down. The food is passable. If you eat there, do yourself a favor and get the salad bar(which is good) and some of their minis to accompany it. It’s the best deal and better than a lot of the other entrees that often seem like they came out of a microwave.

So we tried it again after waiting a couple years. Last time we got raw chicken. This time waited forever before we even saw a server and got our meals before our drinks. We had waited 20min before the server ever greeted us and took our drink orders and food orders.

The food was ok, nothing to get excited about. Except for the shredded cheese that was on the salad bar, it tasted as if it was stall and made the salad have a very horrid taste. The service on the other hand was a disgrace. The waitress we had was slow and mouthy. After being seated it took around 5 minutes for her to come take our drink order and we went ahead with our food order. Took another 8⁄10 minutes for us to get our drinks. Persons around us that had a party of 10+ got their drinks and such before us and they sat down way behind us. When our entrees were finally brought my husband had already gotten pretty full from the salad bar and asked for a to go box. She mouthed off to us like she was disgusted that my husband dared asked for a box. After having her say she went off, a few minutes later arrived with the box. Towards the end, I decided that I needed. I was actually afraid to ask since was mouthed off earlier to my husband. So instead my husband asked for one to put my food it. Again she mouthed off to me about not eating my food, and how she knew I wasn’t going to eat my food. After getting the to go box, and her picking up the plates we waited another 8⁄9 minutes for our check. Waiting another 5⁄6 minutes for her to come get the check to cash us out so we could leave. Overall we will NOT be returning to this restaurant in question.
