Workers have a bad attitude. Don’t go here. I had to spell my name for the lady at the desk 4 times while she rolled her eyes at me.

I love Supercuts. I only went to Heather for 6 ½ years and she always listened. That is so important to me. She recently left to better herself so Becca will be my next stylist. It is not super expensive and they have call ahead which is nice.

I have had my hair cut here several times and have never been impressed. One time, I asked for a few inches off the length, as something a little different. The stylist cut 6 inches off and I absolutely hated it. Today, the stylist could not understand the concept of face-​framing, something I have had done every time I have gotten a haircut in the last 10 years. She tried to argue with me about how it would look and my explanation of what I wanted was apparently not good enough. So now I have short bangs and long hair when all I wanted was the bangs to gradually flow into the rest of the hair. That isn’t difficult to do. The store was very busy today and the overall attitude of the stylists was very poor. They were not friendly and acted like it was an inconvenience to them to have so many people wanting a haircut. This was my last time getting my hair cut at Supercuts and unless you like your haircuts to be bad experiences, I would recommend you find another place for your haircut.

When I was in college I got my hair done here all the time. They listen to what you want and they do it.
Eyebrows and hair always came out great and everyone was always very nice.

I hate giving bad reviews, so I’ll start with the good things about this Super Cuts store: they’ve mostly done a great job with my 6 yr. old daughter. It’s not hard to give her a simple haircut, but she’s actually gotten a few great ones here that were better than just a trim that’s cut in a straight line. She’s come away with a cut that really works with her hair – great layers and angles. I don’t expect much for her though, because she’s a squirmy kid, so the fact that they did so well was great.
Now the bad part: I have had my hair cut there a few times and was pleased. I talked to my stylist a few times about color and finally had time to do it. I called ahead, as suggested, and asked very directly about what time it would be most convenient for the stylists on staff because I didn’t want to back the whole place up if I could be flexible. I was told that noon was best, they’d have the right staff and it would be easiest for the stylists to manage me. I rearranged my schedule a bit and went in at noon only to be greeted and forgotten about. One stylist was on the floor taking haircuts and the others were «on break?» I waited for 30 minutes and no one checked in with me. The stylist who was cutting hair apologized and said she’d take me but she wasn’t color certified. She looked like she genuinely felt bad, but I wondered where the rest of the stylists wandered off to. When I used the restroom, I did see that there were two stylists in the back (employees area) and one was coloring the other’s hair. I guess that was more important than the time I set aside partly to be most helpful to them. I was really disappointed, so I just left.
I know that stylists at «budget» salons work really hard and don’t make tons of money, so I try to tip very (very!) well, especially for color, but whoever would have made a really decent tip that day missed out. I also won’t go back, even though the salon IAS right around the corner from my home. I just felt like my time wasn’t respected, though I really did try to do the best to be flexible with theirs.

Only place I will go! I only let megan touch my hair and she does an amazing job! Works with me to figure what new style or color I want very reasonable pricing!

After a blotched haircut from my regular place I decided it was time to somewhere else. Made a last minute decision to go along with a friend to Supercuts. We walked in 15 minutes before they closed, but was still kindly greeted and waited on immediately. I explained what I wanted and the stylist did just that, giving advice and asking questions along the way. I was very happy with the end result and plan on getting my hair cut there regularly.

Cut fast but job not well done. Last time i got bad hair cut i show them a picture .i want to cut hair like this. they said ok then when it finish .lm look.funny. but still give them a 4 star because staff very nice.

I moved to state college about a year ago, and I have tried many high end salons in town and have been left completely dissatisfied. I decided to give supercuts a go since it was at least a little less costly. Katie cut my hair and she did an awesome job, she listened very closely to what I wanted and took her time and was very precise. I opted to get a full wash and blow out, and it was well worth the price.
Only reason I give 4 stars is because it lacks the amenities available at a higher end salon, you can’t make appointments.
Other then that, I had a really good experience

Excellent and super fast haircut. I called ahead while driving home from Altoona and they were ready and waiting. My haircut is mostly clippers and I was in and out in 9 minutes.
Staff are friendly, personable, and very efficient.

I just went to get my hair cut today. The staff was friendly and quick. There wasn’t a line, but the ladies cutting hair on a Friday morning were moving quick and I was happy with my haircut!

Supercuts is not my usual salon. However, I needed a quick trim and didn’t have time to schedule with my stylist. I walked right in an was quickly waited on. I got the trim I wanted along with a brow waxing. The prices are good. The cut was $ 17ish and the waxing was $ 12. If you get a shampoo it’s going to cost you more.
