I’ve never ordered online, so I can’t comment about online refunds/etc, but service for in-store purchases is excellent. The sales associates here are extremely nice and helpful! There is a small selection of formal shoes (I went to the store to buy shoes for interviews/etc), but the shoes they do have are cute and comfortable.

I went to a nearby store looking for shoes with a particular foot problem. Despite there being three people working, none of them asked if I needed help or bothered to give me any attention besides a hello and good bye – I guess they were too busy gossiping to want to make a sale. I walked down to the Shoe Box, was greeted and helped immediately, was treated with respect and given good advice, and I got a great pair of shoes. I wore my new Dansko sandals all over the south of France and Spain, and they still look and feel great. I am very happy with my purchase and very happy with their customer service.

Their staff is very nice, and quite helpful. While their prices aren’t the greatest their convienent downtown location more than makes up for it (I’d pay more in gas to go out to the mall). My biggest gripe is that I had to have the shoes I wanted ordered in because they didn’t have my size in stock. But they came in in 2 days and I didn’t have to pay shipping, so not a huge deal.

I’ve never been to their store, but do NOT order from the online store unless you want terrible customer service. The people who answer the phone are super nice, but I have called multiple times and left several messages with them trying to get a hold of this mysterious «manager» who is the only person who can help me with the return I made. I don’t know when this person works because I’ve tried calling early, late, weekends and somehow she us never there. I sent the shoes back on ⁷⁄₃ and have still not received a refund as of ⁷⁄₂₂
