A Cut Above

got a great haircut from here, and good small talk.
Definitely going to be my new place, most places have no idea how to do shaggy hair only buzz cuts for guys.

I went there for eyelashes for the first time. I can tell you, however, that though this was my first time, I am entirely sure that this is NOT the way it is supposed to be done. My first eye was glued shut and it was extremely painful to have the eyelashes separated. They were also applied with way too much glue and they seemed to be all stuck together. I was in pain for the first couple of days, as though they were pricking my eyelid. I think this can sometimes happen when the lashes are stuck together but the really well trained professionals spot this before you leave the salon and take care of it. Now they have begun falling out in bits and pieces and they look terribly uneven and scary. One of my eyelids is in pain and some of the lashes are so adhered to it that they aren’t falling out, though I wish to heaven they would. I would like to go back and have them removed but I’m a little scared to. Spend a little extra $ and go where there are trained professionals.

Horrible!!! She ruined my eyelashes and bothered me the whole time during the appointment without telling me she applies something different. She started removing my expensive set of eyelashes and rubbing my eyes like it was her heels or something. Applied some cheap ugly looking eyelashes with some crazy glue that doesnt get dissolved now so I am loosing my real eyelashes!!! It feels that I have a pound of glue on my eyes :((Biggest mistake of my life.

One of my favorite places to get my hair done. They don’t always give me what I want but the hair cuts I get are usually better than the style I originally wanted anyway. I have long curly hair so I’m really nervous about having my hair cut since the last thing I want is to walk around with a yabba dabba do!
They take their time with your hair and and stylists are very friendly and laid back. The ladies here are all good but my favorite is Nicole since she does the best long layers in all ze land!
