I went there last night with a group from church! Staff was so unfriendly and it was a stressful time for us because of the way they were so stressed to handle our orders. They showed how professional they are because of inability to handle 18 people. Despite order mistakes, food was ok. I really hated it and I would never go back because of the service.

My boyfriend and I usually come here for a quick meal. The staff are all very nice, but that’s expected. Food is alright, which again, is expected. The food, however, takes forever to arrive to the table! Every time we dine here, we have to wait around 30 minutes before our food finally comes and we usually order right after they hand us the menu.
There’s really not much to say since this is a chain restaurant, so everything is pretty standard. The wait for food, however, is noticeably longer in this Applebee compared to some other ones I have gone to. Come here only if you have the patience for food!

Best applebee’s on the island. Theyre generous with their portions. The servers and hosts are great at what they do the managers are friendly. I always have a great expierince here only once there was incident but they did their best to make us happy. I love coming here every weekend.

My son and I had the 2 for $ 26 special. I ordered the rubber steak with the watery gross four cheese mac and cheese. My 10 year old son had the overcooked dry panko shrimp with fries that «tasted like dry paper daddy» Not panko by the way. This joint used to be much better around 5 years ago. I retry it every 4 months or so. Consistently disappointed.
The service is friendly and pretty quick. Pretty staff. I think I’ll go over the VZ bridge to Brooklyn to find some real restaurants.

Food is very good here. Much better than the Tottenville location. However DON’T SIT NEAR THE BAR. I went about 2 months ago and these creepy guys at the bar were looking at naked girls with kids sitting right behind them. The kid who was about 12 was laughing at them and they said do you like it? Thank god I was about to leave when that happened or else I would have easily walked out of the place. Remember I’m telling all of you this is the best Applebee’s on Staten Island but if you want to go don’t sit by the bar.

They forget to refer your order to the kitchen, takes them an hour to finally put it on your table, appetizers come later than main dish. After all those, they expect good tips.

330 lunch the restaurant was very slow hardly any customers are food came to the table cold the service took forever why is it 45 minutes for waitress to bring you your food the menus are on the table we were there for an hour and 15 minutes so it wasn’t a veggie hamburger and a salad I think they need to put some more staff on waitress we had was also the bartender and we had to wait to get the waitresses attention just to get the bill and then you have wait for the bills to be paid

i got a deal on gift cards but the food is not so cheap. sometimes I enjoy their mid week lunch specials… they are trying as they added some new dishes to their menu like wonton chicken which is not too spicy chinese food for $ 14.99… On snow storm prospective days i always get an email buy one get one and then its worthwhile. So Friday night I went and got a free app and sunday too although it was doubtful i could get my car out of the lot after 3 ft of snowfall. I ordered some spicy chicken dish pub menu. It was soft and nicely grilled just okay. I ate half of each and took the rest home and two dishes were $ 14.99. overpriced for just one. Will be back for another deal.

The soup is not the best but the meet dishes are good.
The best is their appetizer buffalo chicken, mozzarella sticks etc.

I’m not sure if this was a fluke, but everything came out super quick. The food was more or less what you’d expect from an Applebee’s so pretty decent. Love the steak, the mashed potatoes are solid and the veggies weren’t lacking.

We came to Applebee’s again, and I must say that this time was nicer than all the previous visits (My grandpa is in love with Applebee’s, so we are here almost every other Sunday to make him happy ;) I really don’t get why he just love this place, since most of the things they offer just doesn’t taste that great, but this time I was surprised. Things tasted great, and I must say that maybe something changed, or maybe we were just lucky. So this place returned to my list of the places to go and have expectations. Just improve the service, and I may become a regular here like I used to.

I get it. It’s Applebee’s. I didn’t expect much. I did expect some type of warm soup that was sitting under a heating lamp all day, but I could even get that. My husband and I temporarily moved to SI for work, got out late and decided to come here (because this island shuts down at 10:00pm– a thats another review for another day. And Staten Island, we gotta talk about this curfew) the place was a meat locker, it was dead with a handful of tables but took forever to get seated. The server seemed friendly, but I just sensed that he wanted us to leave asap. Needless to say, I’m sure at some point I will come back to Applebees again. But in the meantime, Mr. manager… Who ever you are… Get your act together and start running a decent establishment.

Came on a Thursday night (11:30pm) for dinner and they told us that they close at 12. The bus boy was nice but the waiter wanted us out asap. He was rude at one point. I usually get better service at Applebee’s even if I walk in 15 mins prior to close. Hope this changes.

Typical. Nothing new. Just your friendly neighborhood Applebee’s. I came in for lunch and was seated immediately. There was no wait. My only gripe is that it was hot in there. They had a fan but it wasn’t doing too much.

Seems like every time I want to give Applebee’s another chance, they reassure me of why I don’t go there much. When I used to drink, there was a happy hour from 3 – 6. Only way to actually a few beers at a semi decent price. But they slowly made the happy hour shorter and shorter. To the point where it was 5 or so dollars for a draft in a 2 lb glass that held a mouthful. Now I ordered takeout from them and spent almost 40 bucks for 2 entrees and a side salad. When I got home with it, there was a small portion where I actually had to make a side to make the meal filling. I don’t how this place stays in business with the prices they charge. Granted the food was great but tiny. And the only reason we went there was a gift card I received. So if you have a lot of cash to drop for barely any product, then this is the place for you.

What to say what to say… Applebees failed us for the last time.
Happy Hour always seems like a good idea, but unfortunately this was just an epic loss.
FIRST OFF original chicken wings tasted like anything but chicken. Tasted like hot dogs or some kind of suspicious meat. Yuck.
SLIDERS also… gross. Looks like they hand ripped apart a old burger, split it into three, then put it on a bun.
The fries were probably older than my grandmother.
Don’t go. Just don’t do it.
Service slow as the pony express on a Tuesday. Save your money

Went to Applebee’s for an early meal to redeem my older birthday meal coupon. The waitress was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. She was very pleasant and checked in on me and my lunch mate quite often. (She was waiting on quite a few tables and she was busy too!).
Truthfully, I’m not used to being doted on at Applebee’s. Everything about this visit was aces! The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming!
I’m so happy I came here today!

Fat greasy foods.
Good to come with a crowd and pig out.
I enjoy the lunch combo specials, half a sandwich and soup for $ 7.00 cant beat that.
Good location because there is a lot of parking!
