I am truly in love with their everything egg bagels. So f-ing good man! Service has always been great, and they are always great and patient with my two year old.

Seems like all the crap reviews are after 2013. It gets one star because they are never open when I go to give them a try. If I get them when opened review will be updated.

Rosebank’s best kept secret! I was concerned when new management took over the store but they still managed to keep the same type of customer service and great food. I order breakfast from here atleast 3−5times a week and eat lunch here whenever I am off from work and in my neighborhood. Bagels are made fresh every morning and most of their food is as well.

Decent bagel store, not many bagels to offer I guess if you come after 9am there pretty much all sold out. People who worked here were pretty decent and nice. My partner paid for my bagel so I wouldn’t of known how much it cost me.(he’s a gem) They offer breakfast and lunch menus. Small store & difficult parking since its a main street and lots of parking meters or no parking zones.

Horrible serice. Way over priced foot and drinks. Bagels are small and shaped awful. Don’t even bother. .85 cents for a mini bagel nothing on it.

Food freshness is a problem. Got food poisoning one time after eating tuna salad there.

I’ve picked up lunch from here a few times, it was always great. The hours are a little off, but it’s well worth getting there before they close.

I have to let everyone know that this place has difference owners than a few years ago, and ever since then, the bagels are horrible. They are definitely not fresh. In fact, they are small and hard, like mini turds. The hours are bizarre. They don’t follow a schedule, they just close and open when they feel like it.

Had enough… I have to bring the reviews down here where they belong. This place has a half a** selection of bagels consistently. They never have the kind you want and they are frequently small hard hockey pucks. They overcharge from everything including bagels to drinks. I can’t believe this place uses the word Bagel in the title /name of their store, they shouldn’t be allowed to. What a disgrace. It’s relatively clean here — however good luck parking outside because unless you want to leave it in front of the fire hydrant there is no parking. I will try again and if my opinion changes be more forgiving and edit my review.

They have very nice Bagels here(although not rated by me to be in my top 5 on Staten Island) they are certainly the best bagels in the area that they are located in, as in that part of the North Shore, one would need to travel a bit to Forest Avenue, or up to Hylan, to find any other decent little holed gems. The three or four times that I have picked up for breakfast or lunch, the sandwiches were also good. The service is fairly good & they are friendly enough. Overall the bagels were fresh, except one time when I purchased them, a bit later in the day.

I couldn’t agree more: these truly are the best bagels I have ever had. Better than any we had in Manhattan, and of course better than those at home. We stopped by our last day in town, more’s the pity, and each had a bagel. Stopped for gas on the way out of town, and once we’d had a few bites of our bagels, went back & bought the store out. They are THAT good. Sliced & frozen, thrown into the toaster, wow… they make me want to take a road trip to stock up on more. If you’re at Ft. Wadsworth /Coast Guard Sector New York /Navy Lodge Staten Island, this is just down from the main gate, and definitely worth a visit. You won’t regret it.

I stop here a few times every week to grab breakfast or a sandwich for lunch. The guys are so friendly and know my «usual» even when I phone in ahead. Even though I wish their breakfast potatoes were cooked a little more done, this spot rocks.

I love this place. They have the best bagels I’ve tasted on Staten Island and I always try and stop by when I’m driving on Bay St. The bagels are huge, flavorful and a really good price. Nothing makes a morning better than a hot cup of milk tea and a buttered bagel from Bagels by the Bay. I’m drooling now as I write this… I really want a bagel… deliciousss

Best bagels I’ve ever had. Most of the time they are still warm. On top of that, they make amazing sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. If you order a sub(yes, I am from New Jersey, I say sub not hero) you will have trouble finishing the whole thing, though you’ll also have trouble putting it down. Reasonable prices and the 2 dudes running the joint are super cool. Oh yeah, the coffee is good too.

Best Bagels on the island, hands down! The proof is in the crowds on the weekend mornings.

I use to frequent this all the time until it changed owners. Now the bagels are a bit to doughy and not the same as before. It’s good, but its a matter of taste.

this place is great they only stay open a few hours during the day and have the best sandwhiches and coffee an older crazy woman used to own it, who ran around as if she was on speed and call everyone«baby». since then it has been bought by two brothers, but are commonly referred as «the brothers». they are very funny and dont want you buying coffee anywhere else, i know this because they insisted i shouldnt buy coffee in other places .:) i give this place a thumbs up, now they just need to sell beer
