Had lunch here today. Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. The owner Danny was super friendly. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was I haven’t had drinks yet. Looking forward to dinner and drinks soon!

Nothing ordinary about this place. No one within 20 miles does mussels or calamari as well. The pastas are a cut above the usual, especially for red sauce drenched Staten Island. And who else around here gives you an amuse bouche. The prices are really reasonable. Anyone who thinks otherwise should just go back to Subway. The service is friendly and efficient. You really can’t go wrong here.

Went to a birthday party at Bin 5, it was one of the most memorable experiences at a dining establishment. Greeted with drinks, and very friendly staff. The food was magnificent. Strongly recommend this restaurant to a friend because you won’t be disappointed.

This place is really great. From its intimate space to its extremely friendly staff, I loved everything about Bin 5. The cedar plank salmon was cooked perfectly, as was the octopus & pasta with filet mignon. I fully enjoy family owned places & this was no exception. I liked that the bartender was committed to making me a drink I’d like (& he did!), noticed the attentiveness of everyone there, and appreciated the recommendations on drinks/​meals by Staff. The only only annoying thing, like anywhere on Bay Street, is the (lack of) parking! But, this is not the fault of Bin 5 :) even to that, they gave recommendations of where to park if we couldn’t find street parking. I will definitely be back!

Pork belly tacos and the clams as an app were amazing! The red sauce with the clams was so amazing. This place was so good. Highly recommended– plus we had a few Moscow mule drinks! They infuse their own ginger liquor which was so good. We will be back!

I honestly have to Unilocal the Ish out of this place. Bin 5 is wonderful. From start to finish. This was my 2nd time here and not my last. The food was incredible. The potato augratin was amazing. Veal scallopini & the duck was some entrees me and my girlfriends ordered. Danny the sweetheart owner is wonderful. I recommend Bin 5 to everyone. A must try !

An awesome but small very nice restaurant. Service is excellent as well as having a helpful staff. The surf & turf is delicious and original as was the salmon. Desserts are very good as well. Make a reservation and enjoy.

Visiting Bin 5 was the most pleasant experience … The employees are extremely polite and welcoming. The décor is unique and quirky in the most elegant way. THE FOOD IS EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! I’ve already been there 4 times and everything I try is amazing. And can I just say if you’re looking for a perfect Drink, I wouldn’t go any where but to Bin 5. Especially the cosmos ! You won’t regret it and your tastebuds will thank you (:

Came here last Saturday night, and wow is all I have to say.
Appetizers: the crepes, calimari, and Portobello mushroom stuffed with crabmeat were all sooo good, and each had unique sauces that really went well with each dish.
For my main course I had the shrimp and squid ink linguine, which was amazing, but I also got to try everyone else’s entrees as well. From pork cutlets to grilled salmon to lobster ravioli to skirt steak, I knew that I had to come back to really enjoy them all.
Danny was friendly and very accommodating when it turned out we had to add two more to our party of 6. All in all a great dining experience, definitely some of the most delicious Italian food you can get on the island.

The owners of DaNoi opened up another gem! Eddie, the owner, knows what the islanders like and continues to impress. I had always had superb service from the waiter Victor when he worked at DaNoi on Victory. Now he’s the only waiter at Bin 5, so I tend to come here more often to eat. He is efficient, friendly, knows the menu well and is flexible with adjusting dishes to how you prefer them. Bin 5 is small, but that’s part of the reason I like it. It can be very romantic for a date. To begin they give you hummus and bread. Then I recommend ordering one of the special salads. I really like the fresh mozzarella salad. As an entrée, the black linguini is the best I have ever tasted. Another home run for the owners!

This was my second visit to Bin5. They are definitely growing and changing for the best, creative food and good drinks.
No drink menu is always a minus for me, but they do have full bar and accommodate all requests. I just find it easier to order drinks from menu and not to think about it. Never less, Orange Martini was exceptional, so as other drinks on my previous visit.
As I mentioned, menu is changing, and I found it surprisingly good this time. Mushroom rice balls intrigued me, and they were deliciously crispy and tasty (could use more seasoning in the filling).
Veal Muffalata was great, definitely worth trying, I will be ordering it again!
Rounded up with Lavazza coffee and Tartufo, it was a perfect meal.
