I have been getting pizza from Big Al’s for years. The pizza is always good. It is a thick crust pizza. I love the chicken parm hero. It’s my favorite. My kid’s love the Vodka pizza (get the thin). The vodka sauce has a smooth light flavor, the fresh mozzarella adds to the flavor. They also have a Spincioni pizza which has sauce and flavored breadcrumbs. No cheese. From what I understand it is authentic Sicilian style, just like they make back home. Not many pizzerias make this. You must try it!

I def would order pizza from somewhere else. They ran out of italian bread for a hero after i already ordered it. that was the first sign. Then i waited a little over an hour for them to deliver and the pizza was just OK. The flavor was good but it was very gummy i had to put it in the oven to crisp it. From what i see they have really good specials but i personally would skip this place.

Decided to stop by and grab a clam pie before going overseas. In the words of my younger brother «we killed that pie «lol.

Delicious! Thought I reviewed this long ago. This place has a distinctive taste that is delicious! They ask thick or thin for pizza or fries, which was appreciated. They always deliver fast and their prices are more affordable than any other pizza place that wants to overcharge on the island. One thing I might add is I usually only order a plain pie and fries with garlic knots. All are very good but I can only eat from here every once in a while due to their distinct taste. That may sound picky but I think it’s understandable when you’ve tried them compared to other pizza places (not that they’re bad still… argh how to explain this…) try them and you’ll find out!!!

I have been coming here for many years and the food has stayed consistent and good. There is nice variety on the menu and the service is very friendly. The two pie special is great quality for a great price of 18.50, cheaper than anywhere else in the area.

We really like big al’s, they make good pizza and their rolls are delicious. My favorite is their meatball roll, it’s almost the size of a hero, filling and tasty.
Their Heros leave something to be desired. My husband had the veal parm hero and the veal was like leather. This is not the first time we had a bad hero there.
So all in all if you stay away from the Heros an stick with the pizza or rolls you will enjoy your meal.
