Was discovered by a friend and I was told to come check it out. Always a solid craft beer list. If you know your whiskey they have a huge selection. Food is pretty good especially if you watching the games on Sunday. Lots of room. Cool staff and plenty of parking.

Just moved to Staten Island and as you know there’s not much to do on this island but on Friday and Saturday nights, this place is unbelievably awesome! I can’t get enough of it. It’s filled with girls and a live DJ!!! Finally I found something to do on my weekends. If your bored, don’t think twice come to bootlegs!!!

My favorite spot on the island. Every time I walk into this bar, I go straight to the bartender Sammy. He truly makes the best drinks and is absolutely awesome at his job! I feel like I’m at home every time I come here and have the best times.

We came on a cold Saturday night. My home girl and I decided to see the jets game. The bartender was really nice to us and our drinks were mixed to perfection. The fried pickle and fried mushrooms were good. We didn’t feel force to leave and I will recommend this place. I hear this place gets poppin after 12 and you have to pay $ 5 to enter.

This is usually my last resort place I’d go too ex: weather, or something local. They have a late kitchen which is good, drinks are decent priced. They have a large amount of beer choices which is great. Friday’s and Saturdays they have a DJ who usually doesn’t walk in till 10:30. Good music and some dancing. Just beware every weekend it’s usually the same people who are regulars lol.

I came here on a Saturday around 4:30pm. My friend and I were basically the only ones in here which I didn’t mind. They have a good amount of draft beers and since the last time I came here it looks like they did some work on the place. They added some games as well as spruced up the interior decoration. They also added a bar on the outside which I think is open on weekend evenings. The place can get packed on weekend evenings so be mindful of that. There’s a private parking lot which makes things easier. The bartender was courteous and friendly. We ordered some food which was good. I ordered their speciality burger which came with fries. I enjoyed it and look forward to trying something else next time I’m in the area. I know they have karaōke and a DJ certain evenings. The bathroom was clean for the most part and not small at all. The overall place is spacious with plenty of seating. The outside area is sectioned off where you can sit down and smoke or just relax. This is a cool place to bring a friend or possibly a date.

Bar is on the end Forest Ave so if you plan on drinking and driving, don’t bother. There are cops hiding out when drive off. A lot of underage being let in lately too. Back to the kids again for this place. Charge some people cover charge and some let in for free. Good chance the Bouncer just pockets your money to be let in to watch TV. Save your money.

I enjoyed this establishment very much, the staff was very nice to us. They have an awesome selection of beer and the food was good. Especially the sampler, the best meal on the menu. Come with all the goodies and fixins.

This place used to be great. Big clean and great food and entertainment. Ever since the new management took over its been downhill. The manager is no more than a bouncer with a title. He lives to intimidate people. The food is terrible. Have you seen some of those filthy nightmare kitchens on tv? They are spotless compared to the filthy trough in this place. Take a look at the sign out front: health department ‘Grade Pending’ Basically they failed and can’t afford to fix the problems so the health department has yet to come back and re inspect. Anyone who eats or drinks here is playing russian roulette with their health.

Stopped by here yesterday with the Mrs. to get a quick bite to eat before heading home. We got there just in time for the opening so we were the first in. As a former Staten Islander, I am always looking for a sports bar to watch some games. I found this place on my Unilocal app and thought they were actually related to the NFL Mannings. I was informed by the bartender that the name came from the owner’s grandparents who were actual bootleggers back in the day. We started off with drinks, the wife had the Angry Orchard Hard Cider, and I tried the Shock Top pale ale which is one of about 16 beers on tap. They also have about 20 bottled beers and does anyone remember Pabst Blue Ribbon in a can? They opened about 4 years ago and is located right before the Goethals Bridge on Forest Avenue. They have about 6 TVs to watch the games, an outdoor patio with 6 or 7 picnic tables so you can enjoy your beer and food outside. For other entertainment they have some video games, pool table and my favorite, air hockey game from my younger days. :) They run specials during game days and have ladies night on Thursday with Karaōke. They also have a DJ during the weekends. To eat, we tried the fried grilled cheese sticks with spicy mayo and the Philly Cheesesteak wrap. Both were good and filling. Will definitely come back to watch some Sunday football games in the near future.

Because of the distance from my area on Staten Island, this is usually the last resort bar. When we do head out here, we have fun. Sometimes it is dead, sometimes it is packed. Mixed crowds. The drinks are moderately priced and they have a decent selection. Right off the highway, has a parking lot. Sometimes has live bands, sometimes has the juke box running. You can get a styrofoam cup o beer here, and that is fantastic.

This place is borderline a Public Safety Hazard and its recommended to be inspected by the State for numerous and obvious violations to public health. Bathrooms are extremely dirty and lack sufficient cleanliness and lack of paper towel or hand drying. Seen food prepared but left on non prep kitchen sink and exposed to flies. Service from bar was spotty with workers constantly seen outside smoking cigarettes with long wait times. Tables dirty with just loud music which forces guests to scream louder to have a decent conversation. There are much better places in parity with same/better prices and with a better experience. No Wow factor with this establishment. A lot of work is needed to be a contender.

Always very loud. It can be empty. and someone it will still be to loud to bare. They seem to have some kind of contract that forces them to hire the worst cover bands the island has to offer. Just miserable. If you come hear you will wish you were Marlee Matlin It usually is crowded with a who’s who of people from your past you would rather not bump into. It is like clockwork. No matter who you are, if you come here you will bump into someone form your past that would rather it stay that way. they do have a pool table. however it might be the worst one in the world… it is always a dirty sticky mess. at times you will think you are in fresh kills. If you can bare all of that the drink prices are not that bad… and the bouncers are good people. So to each is own.

So as fellow Unilocalers said, this place really is what you make of it. If you bring some friends I’m sure you’ll have a good time. A great place to watch the game, and they have a pool table also. I stopped in in a wednesday and the had this great dj, but the only thing I found funny was he was playing club music ehich I personally don’t mind, but the majority if the crowd there didnt really seem like the fist pumping type. Overall, not a bad place just not an awesome place.

$ 6 cover…$ 5 drink coupon…= $ 1 cover. the beers here are HUGE!!! there’s usually a live band playing on the weekends and the place is pretty big. There’s a small outside area that’s fenced in for smokers and people wanting«fresh» air. The crowd varies from the college types to locals. The beers come in 2 sizes… human size and Jolly Green Giant size. either way, you’re probably not spending more than $ 5 for the beer. Check it out if you’re into making your hands feel inadequately small and you’re extra thirsty.

One of the most depressing bars I’ve ever been to on Staten Island. It’s really dirty too. Eek!

You won’t find more screens than Bootleg Mannings. They show all the games and will put yours on if you ask. The beer is $ 5 a QUART and they have dollar burgers and dogs during YANKEES and METS games. They even have a bar-sized pool table and they book great bands. They are a little off the beaten path but well worth the visit. They have a deck where you can go to smoke with picnic tables and umbrella benches. BTW, they have Quick Draw so you can play if you want to.
