Not the best burger. Very dry. I went a second time to see if it would be any different. Same thing very dry burger. Not a Johnnie Rockets where the burgers are juicy. For the price I wouldn’t recommend. Not worth the money.

Was in the area and in the mood for a burger. Have had many good experiences here in the past so figured why not. Walked in and was seated right away. Place was empty except for one other table and a large party in back. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to take our order and no one ever came or acknowledged us. There was a guy who was either the owner or worked there in some capacity and definitely noticed my frustration but did absolutely nothing about it. Another kid was on his break eating his fries and the other two were too busy with the party in the back to either take our order or at least say«be right with you.» As I said my past experiences here were all great in terms of service and food. I know the place is under new ownership, it looks like they increased prices a bit as well but know nothing about service. I can’t speak for the food now, it may still be great but after this experience I will never go back.

$ 70 for lunch and again very disappointed! I have given to many chances and will never return. They forgot several items that were placed in advance sauces were wrong, missed a shake, and the food was soso needless to say i couldn’t eat till the next day. Order was placed ahead and picked up, I actually enjoy Wendy’s better and a lot less expensive what a shame. There are better burgers around the neighborhood for a lot less

As far as burger joints this type go, this is the best! They advertise they have new owners. I had only been here once before so I don’t have a real comparison to the former owners. It seems family owned. They all greeted me with a big smile and were ready to help. The burgers come in a variety of sizes. The third pounder is more than enough for anyone. They will add any toppings you can think of-even peanut butter! I like peanut butter but that was pushing it. Guacamole and mushrooms cost extra-bummer. Toppings such as jalapeño and olives are free. There are about five different cheese options. The fries taste fresh cut. They aren’t overly salty or greasy. There are about 5 different dips, one being marshmallow! Eek I like the cheese. The shakes are very thick. They have every flavor you could imagine. They use Edy’s ice cream. Excellent shakes! A small is more than enough if you’re eating food too. A great establishment-hope the new owners do well!

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. My burger came black including my bun and the woman on the phone was extremely nasty and arrogant. I ordered onion rings & fries they sent two fries. How hard is it to read from seamless? I legit fill out seamless and all they have to do is read the sheet! Not rocket science chee burger. This isn’t the first time either. Every single time they mess up our order. Unbelievable. New owners. Yet the old and new owners both have something in common. No accountability. Not ordering ever again

Decided to venture out to this south-side eatery from my mid-island home. A friend and I each ordered half pound burgers. I ordered fries but my friend didn’t since Cheeburger Cheeburger uses peanut oil, which my friend was unfortunately allergic to. We were served two beefy burgers, my fries, and two cokes served in jelly jars. The burgers were fantastic, and the menu offers a very wide variety of toppings and additions, which I heartily tool advantage of. I ended up eating only half of the half-pound burger, so a quarter pound, but it was quite satisfying. I’d visit again.

I like coming to the restaurant for the throw back décor and music. Typically we have a fun dinner with the kids getting cheese burgers in cool 57 chevy boxes and fries. We like the ability to craft our own burgers add a half-and-half box of onion rings and fries. Over all its good whether you order on line and get ir delivered or dine in. Although it does tend to get a bit soggy on the delivery side. It’s worth stopping by and trying it to see and feel it for yourself. We only ran into short staffing once and it was a bit of a chore to enjoy the experience with the mistakes but we would go back.

I was very disappointed with the food. I had a fried chicken salad. The chicken seemed like they where cheep frozen chicken tenders. Don’t order the fried pickles. I have never had fried pickles that where so salty and greasy, it wasn’t edible.

Okay so just about every time I go I love the food. But sometimes the wait staff can forget about u and sometimes they are on point. Never rude or annoyed. Just I guess since they are young they tend to forget stuff. But I really do enjoy their Burgers the most. Cute place.

Nice little burger joint. Burgers are always nice and juicy and cooked just the way you ask for. Try the burger challenge it’s really a challenge but it’s nice to try and get your picture taken. If you have room try their milkshakes.

They have pretty tasty cheeseburgers. Good fries and onion rings. Fantastic milkshakes!!! Has a 1950’s vibe to it. I’ve been there a few times and I’ll definitely go back.

The choices are almost endless. Great burgers with about 40 or so topping choices. Good fries, great onion rings. A wide variety of shake options. If you don’t want a burger they have wraps, hot dogs, and salads. You can come here every day of the year and get something a little different every time. And to top ot of there’s 1950s theme that adds a uniqueness to the restaurant in this area.

Ate here yesterday, I had a semi serious medium cooked burger with cheese, onions and pickles on a kaiser roll with. It was nothing short of horrible. The burger was dry, very dense, bland and tasteless. I mean not even a light sprinkle of salt and pepper on the meat. And the bun was cold, like taken out of the fridge cold and stale. My dad had the serious burger on a whole wheat wrap with pepper jack cheese, onions, and jalapeños. Same complaints regarding the burger. You would think that the cheese and toppings would be able to add some seasoning to the meat but no we kept having to add salt and pepper from the shaker. We had an order of fries which were soggy and again very bland, we also ordered onion rings they were ok. The place is decorated like a retro 50’s diner but it needs some updating. I should have known never trust a restaurant that has a carpet. I would have given this place one star but the staff was so nice.

Burgers were good. I got a cheeseburger wrap with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The menu allows you to customizer everything just about any way you want, which is great becauses I am super picky. my fiancé and i shared the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce. The food was great, wait time was a little long. I like the décor… very cliché burger diner style. I’d go back

Always enjoy the food, HATE the décor. I have ordered burgers at the restaurant, as well as for delivery, and have always been pleased. It’s always made to my standards and as per my order. Always juicy and is very convenient because it’s 5 min from my home. When I’ve ordered delivery, it’s taken about an hour to get to me but I don’t order unless I’m okay with that. When it arrives, it’s always still hot and tastes great so no complaints there. I tend to get it delivered more than not because I truly despise the atmosphere inside the restaurant. It’s obviously personal preference about design so that doesn’t affect my overall score of this place but it looks terrible. It feels cheap and cartoonish inside. I feel like I’m at a bad Johnny rockets where the atmosphere actually makes me feel like the place is dirty when it’s not. Bad colored furniture, tacky wall colors and hangings and if they didn’t deliver or offer pick up, I wouldn’t want to go there to eat which is a shame b/c the foods good.

Eh. disappointing Went here tonight, with my gf, and I don’t know if I’d say I’m not going to go back, but it will at least be a while. while this place wasn’t awful, I give it a low rating, because ITS A BURGER /SHAKE place, and they SHOULD be better at this, since this is what they specialize in. If this was a DINER selling the same products, then maybe I’d feel more generous in my rating. Service: Service here is pretty bad. There’s all kid working here. Is this an internship? or a 1st job or promotion up from a paper route? We came in tonight, and the place wasn’t full at all, and it took about 5 – 10 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us which is unacceptable. The teens working at the counter completely ignored us, and it got to the point where I was about to leave before we were seated. Ordered the semi serious burger, I think it was 10 oz. it was DRY, and very hot, not like it just came off the grill hot, but out of the microwave hot. Again the service was pretty bad, took quite a while for the food to come to our table. We ordered onion rings as well. the onion rings, while small, was a good bargain, for $ 3 we got a good serving size that was enough for 2 people. We both also ordered milk shakes. the milkshakes here, were a HUGEDISSAPOINTMENT. HUGE. This place has like 20+ milkshakes to choose from on their menu, so I’m guessing that’s supposed to be a specialty. I ordered the cherry cheese cake milkshake. It tasted horrible. And was way over priced. $ 5 for the smaller size milkshake, and they bring out a small glass which looked like a reused pasta sauce jar, with a straw.(seriously, go to this place and order any drink, and the glass they bring, looks like a reused pickle jar. are they that cheap where they can’t buy drinking glasses?) To sum it up: This place has a nice theme, old classic style burger joint, with old music, but the service is just awful which does it no good. The place has all teenage, 1st job employees, who really don’t care about the business. and this is the type of attitude that should work at a mcdonalds, not a themed restaurant. Service is bad. Food is, ehh, ok. could get a better burger at a diner. or could pay the same price for 1 burger, and buy enough meat at the supermarket to buy 4 burgers and make them myself much better at home… But I guess after a long day of work on a Saturday, who wants to stay home and cook on a sat night? Don’t get a milk shake here. their milkshakes were so bad, that they should just stick to vanilla or chocolate milk shakes and not have the nerve to offer a wider variety of bad shakes. You can get a way better, and bigger shake, at mcdonalds, for way cheaper. And I saw people posting about delivery? they had 1 kid here who was the delivery guy. kid looked like a 17 yr old driving his AAA driving car. DONTORDERDELIVERYFROMTHISPLACELOL. THEWHOLE point of this place is to eat at a classic style burger joint/atmosphere. Why would you order a delivery from here? the food is not that good, or special at all, where it separates it from anything else. The whole point of this place is atmosphere. If your going to eat at home, and want a burger, then order a burger from a diner or just make a burger yourself at home, cause either way you’ll get a better burger at a better price. If your nostalgia is kicking in, and you want to go back to the 50’s, and see 2015 teens at work, and eat a subpar burger, then this is the place for you.

I am very much on the fence with this place. Ok let me first explain that I do not understand ordering a burger for delivery, I mean it is obvious food in a tin/plastic tray steams itself. So why would I expect anything other than soggy fries and a wet bun. I understand that. Ok lets talk atmosphere. Retro designing, classic colors and furniture, accommodating posters. This is definitely a fun place to be with acquaintances. It does have all the makings to be a Proper burger joint. Now lets talk food. Dont care for the fries, dont much care for onion rings in general. The Burger… the burger is Very good. I normally get the pounder. The burger is quality meat, nothing special about the bun or cheese but all together the flavor really holds its ground as something very good… Juicy too. I can honestly say one of my favorite burgers and dont even compare this to fast food basic five guys please. The shakes alone are worth all the praise they can get. Huge variety of shakes and All properly delicious. The reason I give this place 3 stars is because The past three times I have been there they have over cooked my burger. There is only so much you can let slide and when I get excited for a good juicy proper medium burger and get placed with a dried out well done burger… it puts a damper on your spirit. Good food, great shakes, fun atmosphere. Its a shame I cannot give this place my approval for all of the mistakes that seem to happen.

Have your burger any way you want! Have any side you want! Have any milkshake you want! Get my drift… You can REALLY have it your way to Cheeburger Cheeburger. Kitchy 1950s themed burger joint with friendly staff and A-OK burgers!

I haven’t eaten in the restaurant but the delivery time was really long, food was chilly. The burgers were decent, nothing special, the fries and onion rings were a little soggy but that may be from delivery, the sauces were fun, but overall, not really worth the price. Five guys is better in my opinion.
