Order the $ 3 breakfast. Not sure if what I had was a chicken gravy burrito… Looks like chicken, egg and cheese? But its good and cheap, worth the price. Hash brown, burrito and a drink for only 3.27. There’s outlets under the tables. +1 didn’t check if it works though. Lol Hash brown was a bit. Too… Darn Oily.

I think the reviewers are being too harsh! I grew up with Dairy Queen in the midwest and this is a typical example of a DQ, and I very much enjoyed my meal! It’s at a price point commiserate with Burger King, but I much prefer DQ. I had a 4 piece chicken strip basket, and I subbed my fries for cheese curds(an extra $ 1.50). I had a decent portion of curds, the 4 large chicken strips, ranch dressing as requested for my dip, marinara sauce for the cheese curds, and a piece of buttery texas toast. I completely forgot the basket came with the toast(I’ve not been for years) and it was a nice surprise. It was all good. My mind wasn’t blown, but all in all, a good fast food meal, and more than I could eat for under $ 10, in a convenient location.

The sundaes are no better or worse than at any other Dairy Queen. The place could be a little cleaner but considering that it’s at a transportation hub, it’s acceptable. I was just a little shocked with the music they had on one Saturday afternoon. I’m no prude, but songs with really graphic lyrics(lyrics like«t*tt*es» and«suck my d**k») are just not a great choice for a fast food place.

THEY participate in the $ 5 lunch & are in the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. A little tiny but they got an order done quickly & were very efficient in getting this packaged to go so I could take it with me on the next ferry. Definitely worth going to if you have the time & like the Dairy Queen Chill & Grill locations.

Want a yummy dessert that leaves you basking in a milky pool of country-living nostalgia? Then stop by DQ after dinner, order a blizzard and head to Union Square Park to reminisce about your childhood summers. Don’t torture yourself by eating inside the DQ. –Resembles McDonalds and is a bit loud.

Limited menu but I’m not here for the food. The blizzards are where is at! If you go during lunch time 11 – 4 you can even get the $ 5 special.

i took a 3 hour round trip journey to staten island for a peanut buster parfait. yes i did. it was absolutely worth it. i always get mine with chocolate ice cream — YUM. it was the most satisfying treat i’ve had in years. used to live in michigan, i just heard about dq coming to nyc, and had to go get my peanut buster fix. the place is very clean, very well organized and efficient, you order at the counter and pay, they give you a little plastic number for your table and bring out your food to you. i didn’t eat anything that required condiments or anything, but i noticed that, at my table, even the ketchup bottle was cold! they have nice napkins — like actual napkins, not crappy ones. i can’t wait for them to open one up in brooklyn or manhattan! my only complaint(besides there being only one location — in staten island, at that: /) is that they don’t have cherry dip. how can you be dq and not have that??? that seems completely ridiculous to me — the cherry topping is a staple, and should be on the menu.

I’m torn between 2 and 3 stars on this one. I’ll go with three. It’s DQ, in Shaolin. at the ferry terminal, right as you get off the ferry. It’s the kind that in addition to all the soft serve ice cream desserts, also has burgers and chili dogs and fries. I got the mushroom swiss burger. the burger tastes flame-broiled like BK(Burger King, not Brooklyn,) but as my companion sporting her own crown sitting across from me pointed out, «but you can’t have it your way.» i mean, i think she was talking about the burger… anyway, the mushrooms and cheese were meh, but what do you expect, right? the chili dog was as expected, and i enjoyed every bite. pretty sure it was just like the chili dog of the DQs of yesteryear when i was a wee lad growing up in Ohio. the fries were cold. i appreciated the beverage selection, as there were 4 iced tea choices besides soda. i know, i know, i’m eating this but i draw the line at drinking soda! lulz. desserts! i got the peanut buster parfait. i don’t remember being a huge fan of this in the past but it was the first thing that came to mind when i heard«Dairy Queen» so i ran with it. it was decent. Her royal highness had the Triple Berry Brownie Blizzard. They left out Bangin’, because it pretty much was. Apparently it’s the special blizzard for the month of August, so if you want to try it, you better hurry…
