I’ve ordered from gyro king several times. Each time the food has been consistently good. I really like their variation of falafel on pita. My husband likes their lamb gyro.

Spot is good. Not the best and sure ain’t the worst place. It does it job when you have that halal craving.

Just had their falafel on pita. Absolutely delicious! This had to be the best falefel I had in years. Crispy, flavorful and the right amount of seasonings. Great job as usual, Gyro King!

Been coming here for years. They make their food fresh that is why you have to wait so long, but it is worth it. Recommendations: 1.) The Fried chicken. Best on the Island, in my opinion. My kids like it better than KFC. 2.) The Gyros. Both Lamb and chicken on pita or rice. 3.) The Indian food. Try it. Its pretty good.

I went there for the first time. I wanted to get a Gyro but was pleasantly surprised to find Indian food also on the menu. I ordered a Lamb Curry dish the server told me it would be a 15 min wait as they cook it from scratch. I was about to change my mind when the lady behind whispered«Girl it’s worth the wait.» Glad I waited! Delish! With some flatbread, rice and assorted condiments I was hooked. Been back twice for the Lamb. I have yet to try the gyros!

There is no doubt that the food is fabulous — but I hope they keep strict watch over the staff who prepare the food. Best of luck!

3 because the food that I have had is good. 2 star missing for rude man, wait time, and broken atm. He specifically said«it’s not worth it for us to swipe your card for under $ 10». I get it. I do but if the atm is broken you should take my card and not tell me that it isn’t worth it for you. No? Everything that you order is 20 minutes. It’s almost like he wants to talk you out of ordering. I can cook chicken in less than 20 if I had a deep fryer. No? Food is good but I can do without the attitude like he’s doing me a favor.

I do not have one bad word to say about this place. When I was pregnant I would crave gyros and this was my go to place. The food is always tasty. I’m so glad the started to deliver and is on grubhub.

When the food is fresh to make, it is expected to wait 15 — 20 minutes. For delivery, you expected to wait close to 40 minutes or more, they are so busy with food orders. Plan your time to order food. I usually order chicken or lamb gyros, the meat is seasoned well. Sometimes I would get the falafel, it is delish and once a while it is a little hard. You would have to remind them not to over cook the falafel but you can not beat the spices that in the falafel mixture. Their yoghurt white sauce is delicious! Their green sauce is amazing! It is one of the best gyro spot in Staten Island. Small spot, no bathroom and has plenty of parking. It is worth the wait!

Got their Mix platter with a big portion of mix salad. I must say, I was impressed with the quality of food and service!

My son had a chicken Gyro and I didn’t want nothing to eat. While I was waiting for him to finish I got hungry and I ordered a lamb gyro. It was really really good.

Ordered the chicken gyro on a pita and 2 chicken over rices plates. Was pleasantly surprised. Will order again for sure. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Gyro was ok, very little lamb and was in tiny pieces. Gyro was filled with mostly lettuce. White sauce had little flavor. Felt like I was eating a lettuce gyro

Average service. Average food. Nothing spontaneous about coming here with a craving. The food is cooked when you order, that’s pleasing but they throw a fast food look when coming in. It’s not that indian or Pakistani type of food. I think it’s more of a mix of multicultural food with south Asian and Caribbean mixed with American style cooking. It’s trying to hard to strive and it’s so mixed up with different food. It’s called for drunken food lovers. I would go here if I am in the mods to eat anything but the pizza next doors and I’m done with smoking hookah next door.

The Lamb Shawarma is amazing. Pretty much a gyro but over rice. There white sauce was delicious and fresh; as well the green hot sauce. By far the best Gyro on Staten Island. The service was great, the gentleman that helped me was friendly and informative. Was my first time but definitely not my last.

Didn’t know this place was on the island, but I’m glad I found it! The food was delicious and the portions were huge. My family ordered the chicken shwarma and the lamb shwarma with rice and salad. The shwarma was well seasoned and the rice was very tasty. We also ordered the naan which was flaky and fresh! Each meal came with meat, rice, salad, and soda for 7.99 and to top it off they did take credit cards! I will definitely return soon to try some other items off their huge menu!

4.5 stars. The chicken shawarma platter with rice and chickpeas from here is amazing! I order take out from here all the time because the food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the prices are affordable. My son says the cheeseburgers and fries are also really good. The only thing I’ve ever ordered from here that I didn’t like was the chicken tika masala. All in all, I truly don’t understand why people eat from the halal trucks around the island when there’s this place.

Pretty amazing halal gyros you can find in Staten Island. Gyros are always made fresh, lettuce is crispy and the white sauce just puts everything together. Definitely recommended. Always call ahead and pick up. Delivery is always iffy.

This place is a bit overrated in my opinion. First off, their chicken and rice does not look and taste anything like Halal Guys on 53rd and 6th so don’t come here expecting that. PROS: — Large menu selection. They have chicken and rice, shawarma, gyros. CONS: — Cash only. — No bathroom. — 3 dine-in tables. — Service is slow. — Waiting time is long around lunch time. I recommend calling ahead.

So I been eating at this place for a few times finally have a chance to review it. I’ve had many good experiences here. My go to meal is usually the chicken & lamb mixed with salad not rice. Not very fond of there rice. Yesterday it was my first time having there fried chicken. Like other reviews say watch out Popeyes n KFC. The pieces are bigger than their competitors, about the same price. The skin is wayyyy crisper than KFC& Popeyes even the day after reheating. The meat was juicy and not dry. My only suggestion for there fried chicken is it lacks spices.
