We just had our Father’s day dinner here yesterday. Too bad other buffets don’t take reservation except for this place. I m wondering if this place ever had an inspections from the Health Dept. The floor in front of the kitchen entrance next to the hibachi grill area was so disgustingly dirty. Sushi were not fresh. I saw one of the workers had her thumbs dipped in the food when she was refilling the tray of food. No gloves. All of the tongs were greasy and had clumps of foods sticking on them. The floors are slippery. One of the bathroom stalls was flooded. So the entire bathroom was horribly stinky. I was so goss out. If we could, we would just leave as soon as we were seated. Too bad it was Father’s day dinner and we were a big group so we didn’t want to disapoint our dad. Also too bad my phone ran out of battery otherwise i would snap some pics to share. Really? I have to give a 1 star otherwise i can’t post my reviews.

The food is really poor to average. Nothing I can find truly delicious here. The hibachi bar has only one noodle choice and the sauce options are soy sauce, hot sauce and teriyaki. All the sauce options aren’t that good to me. Sushi rice is over too hard. So I rule that out as poor. All the hot food tastes rather poor to average including all the fried stuff. To me, the chefs only cared about producing mass bulk production instead of the true taste of them. Honestly, what do u expect from a buffet like this? However, I still come here occasionally. It’s the choices they offered and the coupons on their site that still lure me in.

I came here to have lunch with my second family. I wasn’t expecting to come here so I was kind of nervous if they had any vegan food for this veganite! It was a Sunday Afternoon and boy did it felt like half of Staten Island was in this place. The place is huge and could easily sit at least 75 people. After they sit us down and I ran to the buffet tables. The fruit table OMG! kiwis, strawberries, grapes, honey dew melons OHMIND! Yes I love fruits! I am a health freak vegan so I try to stay away from fried things. But I could resist those sweet plantains and French fries. My favorite item is the sautéed bok Choy. I wanted some broccoli but it was mix with chicken :-(. For the non-vegans and vegetarians A great selection for you guys! From seafood to hibachi! As I mentioned before the buffet tables are huge and their are a lot of selections. My friend said that their spinach with cheese was on point! I personally wouldn’t come back. I’m not into the buffet thing and crowds hawking and crowding at the food. Their were times that I almost dropped my plate because their are kids running around the buffet tables. NOBUENO Tips and recommendations! 1. If you check in… you will get an offer for 1.50 off on a lunch buffet. 2. Parking. Their is plenty of parking because this place is located in a plaza. 3. Public Transportation. The s48 runs through the establishment. So the s57 passes thru here as well. But its a 2 minute walk. 4. Not a place for dates. Please don’t do it to yourself. Unless you don’t want to see that person again. This place is for couples that has been together for more than 5 years and don’t mind the chill environment. 5. Enjoy!

Finally, I got to visit & have lunch here with a friend on a Monday. We didn’t really plan to come here today to eat but mainly to shop in the other stores. Food was Ok and with a variety of choices. Service was also ok. Staff, at least those we have tried to chat with about other things than food(including the whereabouts of the big fish in the indoor small pond) wasn’t friendly that much(you feel like you’re borrowing money from her lol). The place is spacious and you won’t feel like you are in a cramped place, at least on lunch time. Bathroom is clean(men’s).

Endless choices, including sushi, dishes from around the world, and bangin’ desserts make for a dining experience that you can satisfy almost anyone with. The only thing that I dislike is that it’s hard to get a hold of your waitress.

The food is ok. Stay away from the Hot muscles not cleaned very well. The service is a bit cold for my liking other, than that it’s ok. Guess you get what you pay for. forget service with a smile. Not there. I see they have a new worker in there of a different race. She was nice and courteous. Maybe more people of different backgrounds would make a difference in the way people are welcome. There staff seen like they really don’t want to be there. Good luck.

The food is just as good as any Chinese restaurant on the island and you can choose what you want instead of getting just one thing. The sushi and hibachi are nice and don’t cost any extra. Try the sweet iced tea to drink.

We came here a recommendation from a relative. It was around 8 when we arrived and were immediately seated. At first glance, the food looked appetizing but once I tried them, they were bland and awful. I saw the sushi and they were poorly made. The only tasty item was their steamed seabass and their ice cream that had flavors such as Green Tea and Red Bean. Most of the customers here are not Asian so I had a feeling that the food may not be to their taste. The best thing about this place was that the bill came to a total of $ 55 for four people so it is perfect for those who are in a tight budget.

Wayyyyuy cheaper then brooklyn. They have hibachi here with no extra charge! Got a sushi section with alot of variety. Mixed of few cuisine here. Fruit section, dessert icecream section, seafood section, condiment, soup section. Waitresses were always nice. Better to come around 530 – 6 pm friday — sundays before this place gets crowded. They have alot of seating areas and tables that accomadate big parties. Also have booths.

I don’t have high expectation in here since it only cost $ 12.99 per person for dinner buffet. Food is ok nothing spectacular, their selection is limited but you get what you pay for, wish they have more selection on vegetables. Also, they need to stop playing that Happy Birthday music so annoying!

I recently went Tuesday in the morning. I had a few children with me. I enjoyed the food. There was a large selection. I stuck with my traditional things. I didn’t explore the Hibachi grill or the large array of sushi. I made many trips stuffing my face. They have French fries and nuggets for the picky kids. The waitstaff was alert. Again, it was early. I’m unable to review the cost part.

This place looks like a great buffet place but I have to give it 2 stars only bacause the menu was too limited for me They had mostly Chinese food and seafood Which I do not eat either of the 2 Yes I know that I am one of the few people who do not like Chinese food and seafood This was not my choice of restaurant to go to eat I sat there for 30 minutes and observed several people enjoy their meals so I guess it is a good place for lunch but not for me I ate basically nothing there The salad bar they had was split between cold shellfish and salad so I did not even eat salad there I ate some bread and had a soda that was it People who work there are not friendly at all Some did not even speak English Can u guess what language they spoke? ??? I was there with a person using a walker and they did not want the walker near the table

Been here a couple of times and the price is unbeatable — $ 12 ish for dinner! The food tastes good too! Also, they have coupons on their website, so make sure you print that out or just show them the coupon on your smart phone at the cash register. The workers here are nice and come by to take your plates and requests. The food selection isn’t grande, but it’s good for the price you pay. They have a hibatchi grill and sushi bar that’s included in the price — so you don’t have to pay extra! Also, the icecream bar always has a line because they have many exotic flavours. Try it out! We used to get fortune cookies with our check, they don’t do that anymore :((

This is the place you go to, when you don’t want to spend a lot of money, but want to eat ALOT of different low-quality foods, that you’ll regret eating 30 minutes later. The price here is reasonable, I think $ 11 a person, no including drinks, which you have to order separately. This buffet has a lot of variety, as they offer a lot of different foods, and even have a sushi bar(be careful with the sushi bar, I don’t touch it, a friend of mine however got extremely sick after eating sushi at a different buffet years ago). The food, is just ehhh… its not that good, and is on the cheap side. but I guess once you walk through that door, and pay the price of a BUFFET, you already agreed to trade quality for quantity and variety. While I’ve never personally seen anything that would make me say this place is unsanitary, it just doesn’t feel like the cleanest of places… the food is sitting out there, as many people, some of whom may not be the cleanest of people, are helping themselves to. This is a place you go to, when you just stop caring about anything for the day. Bottom line: cheap price, cheap quality, a lot of food, you’ll regret eating in 30 minutes. not a bad place to go to, I just wouldn’t recommend going here more than once every 6 months lol. I give this place 3 stars because the price is good, and the variety is good. and they have cheap desserts too. But the quality is below average.

Well for $ 10.99 excluding tax & tips, I didn’t have much expectations. I came with my family of 4, on a Sunday. A young lady took us to our seats then whisper what we want to drink. I could not hear her, and she did not tell us what there was to drink. So I just said ice tea while my parents got hot tea. Oh they charge $ 1.99 for soda(ice tea) & $ 1 for each cup of tea. The tea came, and I can say it was the worst ice tea I had. It taste like Lipton tea but with more water, ice and less sugar. Anyway for the price, the food is not as great but you would be full and you’re able to get whatever you want without deciding what to eat. That’s the reason we came here. We came for snow crabs and clams, therefore it’s pretty much worth it? The sushi tasted the same throughout, like homemade. I thought about the ice cream, but I saw little kids on their own using their fingers and stuff instead of the scoop, therefore I opted out. I gave 3 star because 1– The ice tea my sister & I had was horrible. 2– My mom had a bad stomach after this meal.

I’ve been here several times before with family and friends and would continue to visit. Out of the places I’ve been this restaurant provides the highest/best selection for foods and desserts, including an extensive sushi bar. The food may not impress you with flavor(buffet food isn’t synonymous with having seasoned tastes) most dishes do taste very good(buttered potatoes!), but others miss the mark(french fries, chicken nuggets). It’s also extremely cheap and affordable. 2 people eating was slightly above $ 25. My experiences here have not been with the notion that this place is dirty or unkept as I’ve read other reviews about this issue. Overall the food selection is great, the restaurant is spacious, and dining is highly affordable.

This is the ultimate buffet to go to when you are feeling comfort food. If you’re feeling indecisive on what you want to eat, just come here for the wide variety of selections! Their sushi/sashimi is pretty fresh, there’s a hibachi grill, some selections that surprised me(in a good way) are shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, mussels, Dungeness crab, fantastic clams, steamed bass and beef brisket. I really like this place because of their variety AND their 8 flavors of ice cream! For people who love ice cream, and love the freedom to pick and choose from all types of food, this is the place for you. For $ 10.99 for dinner, my expectation of taste was below average but I was pleasantly surprised! Great service! Check out more of the review and pictures for this restaurant at

This was a mistake. Before we went in we asked if they had any meat at lunch specifically beef or lamb, 2 employees said yes. We walked in further, there is nothing even remotely resembling beef by any stretch of the imagination. When I came back and told the manager and asked if there was anything she could do she said«No this is lunch, more food at dinner, you already sit down so you pay». To be honest I don’t know if most of the people working here even understand English and that may have been the cause of the miscommunication . If it wasn’t for the poor service and communication this might not be such a bad place otherwise. For anyone willing to risk their money or time make sure you go at dinner time which is 3:30pm. Hopefully I saved someone else the trouble and a couple of dollars.

My family has nicknamed the Hibachi Grill the«cheap buffet.» We came during the first few weeks of the grand opening and were satisfied with the food. Over time though the quality decreased and we stopped going. Recently we went back with a craving for some hibachi(and you know how expensive that can get elsewhere) and the food was, surprisingly, delicious. When I go to a buffet, I like to make small plates of food that mix without upsetting my stomach. There are enough sides and entrees offered to keep me happy. There are 2 – 3 different types of crab legs offered(on a slow night you may have to fight for them unfortunately). I love seafood, and I can pile my plate high with what they serve. If you don’t feel like spending $ 20 – 30 for hibachi food, this is the place to get your fix. The cook is friendly and good at what he does, don’t be afraid to tell him how you want your food cooked. Two strict vegetarians didn’t want their food touched with spatulas that touched meat, and he understood the request perfectly. One last note about the Hibachi Grill — try to go on a Saturday. It seems to me that they make experimental dishes and sometimes you get real gems. Some of my favorites included roast duck, saury(fish), lobster in ginger sauce, turkey, and kalbi(KBBQ beef ribs). Don’t forget your coupon!
