My grandmother stayed here for a year in 2004 when the unfortunate decision was made that she shouldn’t live alone anymore. Leaving your house and 85% of your possessions after 60+ years… well, I can’t even imagine the hardship that was for her. But Island Shores made it not as hard a transition as it could have been.
Island Shores was lovely. Always friendly faces that looked after my Grandma and she never complained. Guests were always welcome! Immaculate, overlooking the water and with programming that enabled my Grandmother to pick up her beloved painting again :)
