Celebrated Father’s Day here. Started with Hot & Sour Soup-Very Good/Excellent and Scallion Pancake-Very Good/Excellent; Orange Beef, very tender with a very pleasing, not to sweet, sauce sourrounded by Broccoli-Excellent; Shredded Crispy Chicken with Vegetables(First time we tried it.)-Excellent; Eggplant with Garlic Sauce(with Shrimp added)-Very good/Excellent; Grand Marnier Shrimp with Broccoli, Candied Walnuts, and a Creamy Grand Marnier Sauce with just the right amount of sweetness(another first timer).-Excellent. Dessert was a very nice Vanilla Ice Cream. Dinner was accompanied by Lychee Martinis and Cabernet Sauvignon. Service was attentive and very good. The quality and unique preparation of the dishes, as well as the setting, is a step above other Asian restaurants on Staten Island. Angela, the manager, came over and always ensures the dining experience is a special event. A truly enjoyable Father’s Day dinner!

This place was delicious. A hidden treasure in Staten Island. Buy the $ 50 for $ 25 here on Unilocal .They are also on groupon. The food and drinks were amazing. Tell Angela the owner that Adrienne recommended you, promise you won’t be disappointed. Happy everytime we eat here

Special conditions when you buy the groupon. You must announce before using it and they will guide you through what you are allowed to eat. Food was ok. Décor is nice.

Lapin and I came here for dinner. We were seated quickly and the décor was very rich and beautiful. We ordered a couple of cocktails, which were good but not very strong. His favorite was the Blue Hawaii and Super Scorpion. We order the lobster salad(which looked like bits of lobster but tasted and looked like langostinos) and mango shrimp salad(it was okay, it had more mango flavor than to my liking). We ordered the coconut shrimp and the rock shrimp as appetizer. The coconut shrimp was four decent size shrimp covered in processed coconut flakes and burnt. The sauce was delicious but didn’t care about the shrimp. The other appetizer took 15 minutes to come after the first one came. The rock shrimp was good and was a good portion. For our entrees, Lapin ordered the Salmon curry with brown rice and the waitress bought out the wrong rice. She didn’t understand when we told her we ordered two brown rice… it might help if you write things down, you know. However, Lapin thoroughly enjoyed his dish. I ordered the Grand Marnier shrimp with brown rice. It was four shrimp on top of a bed of cooked broccoli. Personally, I would have liked more shrimp but I would been more satisfied if I actually had some sauce for my rice. For dessert, we ordered fried oreos(2 pieces) and pistachio ice cream. Both dessert was delicious but the serving size is a bit small for what it is is. The service was a bit mediocre. The waitresses were friendly at times but absent minded. We waited served one appetizer or one entrée while the other person had nothing. They took almost 30 minutes to let us order and even then she said she would come and left our questions about the menu unanswered. No one came to refill water or check in on us. And we got the bill as soon as we got our dessert without asking.

I liked this place. Sashimi were humongous and fresh, rolls were fresh but fine. Authentic interior, reminds me of Bangkok a little bit.

The staff was attentive! The manager was friendly and gave us her recommendation when we were stuck! The only thing i advise is to get a glossy paper for the menus or laminate them, the ink was faded on most of the pages giving us a hard time with the selection! The food presentation was great! I will be back for sure!

Very average Chinese food with nice interior. We tried their chicken noodles which were ok, sesame chicken, which I liked, but thought it was too fatty and shredded duck. The shredded duck dish had excellent prepared vegetables, but the duck was over fried, I could only taste the crunch and no meat. Their staff could pay more attention to customers. Overall, this place is good for casual lunch or dinner but I wouldn’t have my special occasion here.

The food here is very good, and the presentation was very nice as well. Although I came here with a groupon($ 30 for 2 soups/salads, entrees, cocktails desserts. And an app to share) full sized and delicious. I will definitely be back again for another meal. Thank you!

We came here on a Groupon. Great value on Groupon, but the service is left to desire. My family and i got to the restaurant at 6p and we were standing at the door for what felt like 15 minutes, just to get noticed and a table. There was only 2 customer(1 table) at the time. The lady was busy taking takeout order and she saw us when we first walked in. The food was delicious. We had ordered lo mein for the kids, the had something grilled/spicy beef, shrimp wonton soup and sesame chicken. The beef was tender and spicy, oh so delicious. The kids loved the lo mein n devoured it. No complains on the food and drinks. Shout out to the bartender — your drink mixes were well done n perfect. My family ordered the chocolate martini, long ice tea, leechy martini etc… all was mixed well… big up to the mixologist!!! The food took so long to come out, the kids were getting restless and the family was starving at this point. 30MINUTE gap between appetizers to main entrée… too much wait time between meal. Five plus star for delicious food and awesome mixologist(awesome for SI). The service and wait time for food is horrendous.

I can say with complete confidence that this is one of the best Asian restaurants on Staten Island if not in the New York City area. I had given a great review in 2014 when I first came to this restaurant and at that time it was under a different management. Though it has changed hands several times, and though my original review was outstanding I could never believe that they can outdo themselves, but they have. The décor is simple but sophisticated, the attention to detail from the service to the plate presentation is par-excellence. And now for the food, the reason why were all here; absolutely superb. The shrimp dumpling soup and the kani salad was a great introduction to the wondrous journey that would soon follow. The coconut shrimp was by far the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The beef Royale as well as the calamari was a pleasure of tenderness that melts in your mouth. And the crispy beef was not only to die for but to be reborn. This chef is a Maestro and the entire dinner, for my girlfriend, my mother, my godmother and myself, from soup to desert was a symphony orchestra of the highest esteem. The deserts were orgasmic and the price will have me coming again and again and again. I urge everyone to list this restaurant as a priority destination in the very near future.

Love their hot and sour soup. I actually judge a lot of Chinese/Asian restaurants on their hot&sour. This was is a home run. This used to be King’s Chef and what they’ve done with the interior is just fabulous. So beautifully appointed and gives a real sense of intimacy in a large space. For a cocktail, I recommend the Sake Martini. It’s crisp and clean. Can’t go wrong. Appetizer must be the Jerky Beef. One bite and you will be addicted. That good. Entrée I would go with Crispy Shredded Chicken. I don’t know if I’ve ever had something so crispy! Another dish I just want more of. If you are looking to try it out, go for the Groupon. It’s a pretty good deal.

Ambiance-cool date night spot Service-fast and efficient, attentive servers and crew, Food-delicious and ingredients are fresh Drinks-well made Amenities-restrooms are clean and well maintained Imo, the only thing I think that needed a little work on is the atmosphere, maybe upgrade the sound system, and better music selection. Overall, it was an amazing date night experience. Keep it up Jade Bistro xo

Bought the Groupon for two and discovered a phenomenal restaurant that we just can’t get enough of! The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, the drinks are potent but smooth, and Angela(mgr) is on top of everything like icing on a cake! We’ve come back numerous times over and this place is consistent through and through! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

My wife and I happened in there on a lark. Ordered a couple of cocktails, an appetizer and soup salad and two entrees. Well… We were both supremely surprised and satisfied. The drinks were yummy. The chicken lettuce wrap was delicious(and generous) I have had great hot and sour soup, but Jades was the best(delicate flavors — not overwhelming) My wife had the salmon red curry dish. Great and abundant. I had the General Chicken. Again — great taste and beautifully presented To top off a great night of dining, Angela Chow, the manager, was beyond welcoming. She actually hugged my wife on the way out. This place values its customers. Highly recommended.

This is a fairly new restaurant which took over for another long standing place. Went in for lunch. Lunch menu is quite limited, however, there is a choice of Chinese, Thai or Sushi. Lunch prices are extremely reasonable. Hot and sour soup was tasty and good but they have no noodles! They were discontinued! What??? Sesame chicken was sesame chicken. Not too thick in the batter and nicely cooked broccoli Fried rice was good and light. Sushi was sushi — Overall everything was fresh tasting. Inexpensive, good, nothing earth shattering.

THISISLEGITTHEBESTCHINESEFOOD I’VEEVERTASTEDOMG. I just ordered from here and the pork frird rice is cooked to perfection! Perfect amount of veggies and tastes 5 stars! The general Tao chicken is amazing as well. It came with broccoli on the side and you can taste the ginger and peppers… wow! :’) Before I even opened the bag, the smell was intoxicating… my mouth was watering. It came in about an hour but it was well worth the wait and I would definitely order again. Would love to visit the restaurant too! It’s gourmet food: D

Went to this place for the first time. The service is beyond amazing! We were treated like family… Especially by the manager Angela. She is the sweetest! Jennifer was our waitress and gave us the best recommendations. The food was delicious. We started with a Kani salad and lobster salad… So fresh! Had appetizer of rock shrimp tempura. So good! Our meals were miso salmon and crispy beef! Absolutely delicious. We were impressed and the taste was perfect! We were so satisfied and then we ended up with fried Oreos and ice cream to top it off which hit the spot! :) we got two cocktails which were on point and delicious. Beautiful décor. Great service. Didn’t feel rushed. And the manager treated us like family! We will Def be back again. Try this place!

My first time at this place and I must say I definitely recommend it, the food is great drinks amazing and the staff very friendly. A good friend of mine hosted our Christmas party there I believe it was a 4 course meal and unlimited drinks and all I paid was $ 40(you can’t go wrong with that) the dj got us dancing the night away. I can’t wait to celebrate New Years Eve there again.

This place used to be really good and tonight was such a disappointment. My family and I were regulars at this restaurant since it was the only place on the island that served dim sum on the weekends. We went there frequently so the waiter gave us coupons for comp drinks. When we came here tonight to have a nice dinner and use our complimentary drink vouchers, the new manager was very nasty to us and told us that the offer had expired. Meanwhile, There was no expiration date on the coupon and she quickly confiscated them and walked away. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the rude manager, we will not come here again. There are several other Asian restaurants on New Dorp Lane with better food and impeccable service so don’t subject yourself to this particular establishment. Oh and by the way, they stopped serving Dim Sum.
