Kiddie Cakes

I have ordered from Kiddie Cakes for every occasion for years and will never change bakeries. They make amazing cakes– ice cream and regular! There are several ice cream/​cake flavors, frostings, and fillings you can pick from. For my dad’s birthday, I got chocolate cakes with two layers of cannoli filling with outer whipped cream. I prefer the vanilla cake but got the chocolate because my dad is a chocolate fanatic. The smallest cake serves 6 – 8 and $ 25. You can also add designs if you’d like.
Note: must call at least one day in advance to order.

The prices are sweet the cakes are great, Victoria and Melissa are friendly on the phone as well in person. Thanks guys my nephew will love the Elmo cake.

The cakes here are so good. Not your typical carvel ice cream cake since they actually make it with real cake on the inside as opposed to just ice cream. Only problem is every time I call I can never get anyone to answer the phone. Maybe it’s just me …

Cakes are always amazing and the prices are so ridiculously affordable. The staff there is always kind and always finds a way to customize the cake you want.
I wouldn’t get a cake anywhere else !

I ordered a cake from kiddie cakes and I live in New Jersey. I did everything thing over the phone and the cake was outstanding. I highly recommend. The cannoli cream was delicious so fresh. The hand drawn Hawaiian flowers were beautiful.

Couldn’t have been happier with the amazing job done on my godson’s 1^st birthday cake. Yellow sponge cake with banana/​chocolate custard filling. Everyone loved it. Great professional staff and very reasonable prices. They also said they usually only need 2 – 3 to fill an order which was very convenient.

Amazing job! I called for a last minute cake for the same day and they were able to do it ! And it tasted absolutely amazing ! We got chocolate cake with raspberry and coco late mouse filling ! Taste like a jelly ring, so yummy !

Their cakes are Delicous! It’s an older bakery that’s been around for years but their cakes are classic and never disappointing! My favorite is the vanilla ice cream filling with whipped cream topping! GREAT cakes for kids they can do any theme you ask for!

Two more kids later and we’re still using Kiddie Cakes for our annual celebrations. Great cakes and good service. They only accept cash or check and have informed me of as much each time I order over the phone.

Love kiddie cakes, their ice cream cakes are delicious, old world cake with ice cream, and very reasonable for the taste and quality they provide. Don’t hesitate to give them a try. They blow away Carvel and over-​priced Baskin Robbins.

Every yr I order both of my children’s cakes from here. I also ordered my wedding cake from here, and their christening cakes! I travel all the way from BROOKLYN and pay the toll, just to have their cake! I usually get the chocolate pudding with banana inside and buttercream on the outside. It is a must have!!!

Very old world feel when u walk in. Definately not luxurious feel but the smell alone should give this bakery an extra star. Hundreds of pictures adorn the walls of this staten island gem-​showing the traditional cakes they make. Typically all the cakes are done in buttercream on the outside, and can be smoothed out to look like those colorful fondant cakes-​or for more money they will gladly create a cake in fondant.
Fillings are simple yet delectable. I promise that you will not be disappointed with the end result. The sponge is pillowy light and very fresh. The buttercream used is not overpowering, it’s just the right consistency.
I am giving this bakery 4 stars only because I wish that they’d be a lil more creative with design-​the cakes although absolutely delicious have very old school decoration.
If you want a cake that’s very creative either bring the decorations, and the pictures or go to a more creative, new world baker.
Prices are not expensive and the quality is very good. I’ve seen many bakeries try to get away with that fake butter emulsification-​which usually tastes like wax, and develops a coating on the roof of your mouth-​but not kiddie cakes.
I went with a banana and chocolate mousse cake, and was able to give the baker candies I bought for a candyland theme and they decorated the cake.
Everyone loooved the cake. Did a two tier in pink and purple and the colors popped-​very bright just like I wanted it. Many people wanted seconds
