Excellent food, amazing bread. Panini I had was amazing and the salad my girlfriend got was amazing as well. Love ordering from here.

Just left had dinner here and it was really good and better than expected
Started out with a appetizer I had the stuffed meat ball and it was huge and stuffed with mozzarella. It was amazing!
Then I did the rib eye special asked for medium rare and it came out well but it was fine I don’t complain unless it’s major.
It had onions breadcrumbs and red peppers on it came with French fries was around the $ 40 mark it was good but just a little over prices.
My wife had a veal special on the bone. She enjoyed it and it was stuffed with mozz and prasutto (I spelt that so wrong). She love it and it was huge.
All in all very good and the service was amazing just a little pricy.

This place was very good. We had take out from here. I ordered the penne vodka with chicken and my husband had the chicken parmigiana. Both dishes did not disappoint. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the chicken cutlets were pounded thin. Highly recommend.

Sorry, Aunt Butchies. Being that I get my hair blown out quite frequently at Chic I stop in here for little take out items. The staff (including the owner) ignore customers. If I wasn’t so desperate for over priced coffee I would have walked out. After three occasions of being ignored (the owner cared more about having mints in the bathroom), I won’t go back. The chocolate covered Oreos had low quality chocolate and you don’t even have iced coffee cups. I’ll take no service where the products are cheaper and hopefully taste better. Not my cup of tea…

I love this place, my family and I go here pretty much every time we want to go out to eat. All the pasta is cooked perfectly Al dente, and the mozzarella Caroza is amazing. I even took a bunch of friends here for my birthday, and the dessert is outstanding. I definitely recommend the chip n dip, the mini chipwich sandwiches, and the brownie sundae, all of which can be shared between two or more people. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian lunch, or dinner.

Food was okay… waitress put our food in late and we waited an hour four our first course. She gave me a a microscopic glass but so many tables had lofty iced tea glasses for iced tea. People all around us got served within 10 minutes of their order. When I told her that my glass was tiny, she said that was the size they came in and she shrugged her shoulders. I asked multiple people for a bigger glass and they said they would get it… but nothing. She finally came out with a bigger iced tea 45 minutes later. I ordered Sicilian rice balls because they don’t have meat in them, and when I asked the busboy if my rice balls have meat in them he said he didn’t know and that I should ask the waitress… Instead of going to get the waitress for us or inquiring for us. The waitress obviously didn’t pay any attention when I called her several times. Nasty… the only difference between our table and everyone else was that we were two women… well, this womam is paying the bill… be nice to your customers and don’t make assumptions about me and be rude. Meawhile she’s letting some pervy goomba point in her face but she gives me a dirty look when I ask her were my salad and normal sized glass is. Really wanted to like this place…

I’ve heard of this place through word of mouth and reading reviews on Unilocal.Both sources were pretty postive, so my first expectations of Aunt Butchies was high. I was very disappointed!
First, my girlfriend and I had the baked calms and the baked calamari as appetizers. I was expecting the clams to be crisp and tastful, but hey were neither. Instead, they were soggy and fishy. The calamari was rubbery and fishy as well. Ok, the appetizers were crappy, but I still had faith in our entrees!
We had ordered a chicken and pork dish for our main course. The chicken was salty and the pork was thick, tough and dry. The pork chop was dressed up with all this «goop» on top. I guess it was there to add favor but you couldn’t hide the poor condition of the meat. Now I was beginning to get pissed. This was my first time here and will be my last. If I had many prior good meals, I’d look at this time as a fluke but come on! My first impressions were terrible and I will not be going back. There is nothing worse than paying for a bad meal that wasn’t cheap.

Food is Delicious, staff was amazing. The honey balsamic is great. A Staten Island must stop… We were catered to with V.I.P. status, thank you so much for making my dining experience top notch. We will be back…

I had the lunch special which is soup, salad, and selection from 20 different sandwiches or panini’s.
Also: leave room for dessert as they have quite an assortment of homemade pastries and cookies.

I have been here before, but it hasn’t been in a while. Tonight the food, service and drinks were outstanding. I enjoyed the most delicious kale salad special and shrimp oreganata. We were a party of seven and were seated immediately (we did have a reservation). The wait staff immediately came and took our drink order and were really attentive all night. Drink specials were great! Definitely ask for their «Pistachio» shots! The dessert was also amazing… I had the Nutella Chip Sundae! All the desserts were huge and could easily be shared by two or three. The salad was large too and great to share as an appetizer. Overall fantastic experience and looking forward to going back!

This place would’ve gotten at least one more star if it weren’t for the service. Went on a Saturday night with a group of 7 (made reservations ahead of time, as they are super busy). Waited for about 20 miniutes even with reservations, but that was fine with us.
When we sat down and were given menus, we probably waited another 30 minutes before the waiter came around to take orders. He also told us that we had to place all of our orders at once when we wanted to put in appetizers first and some entrees, since two people were joining us late. I asked him, «Can’t you just put these in first, and we can order more later?» He said he would «double check» and came back saying it was ok. Strange.
Anyhow, we ordered several bottles of wine, so in between each order placement, we had to ask a staff member to go and ask for our waiter, because he wasn’t coming around. When he finally DID come around, he would just give us our things without seeing if we needed anything else, not even giving us a chance to ask for other items. I understand the place was busy that night, but he was extremely inattentive, very rushed, and even rude at times. I even can’t help but wonder if race was a factor, since we were the only Asians and it’s staten island after all…
The food was ok (not bad), but in my opinion, I wasn’t wowed by anything we ordered. I had the squid ink ravioli, which I thought would be wonderful, but it was just mediocre to me. Everyone raves about the octopus appetizer, so we had the grilled pulpo and it was good, but I’ve definitely had better and more tender. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I don’t expect to come back here.

I had lunch at the rest. because of the review on Unilocal.The food was excellent,
BUT liquor at 12.50 a drink was RIDICULOUS. MANHATTAN prices could be lower.
I might return if I am in the area but I will drink water!!!

I’ve been here several times and I’m always extremely pleased food is delicious I always love taking home something from the bakery part of the restaurant the staff is extremely pleasant. .
I’ve been here for a party with 20. coworkers and everyone was happy no. complaints at all they couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was

Came here for a birthday with a party of 12 and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the evening went. Atmosphere is great. Food is amazing. Staff is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I ordered the pear salad with grilled chicken and I could not get enough. Portions are great.

Great place to eat lunch. Got a great sandwich here. The service was very good. I love all the food here and to just sit with family or friends.
I recommend people to go here especially for lunch.

Very good food coming from an Italian!!! If you say no to dessert it’s very shocking to them lol! And then they bring you one anyway!!! Like true Italians“eat eat!!!” I don’t know if they do that for everyone but they knew it was my first time there. It certainly will not be my last. The mango crab appetizer with avocado was delicious, the pasta with broccoli rab was amazing– caramel cone to die for!

Went there for pastries and saw the Nutella «stuffed» puffs and was very disappointed!

Wife took me here for Fathers Day we had no reservation. We were seated on right side which is casual side. It was kind of warm I asked hostess is we could sit in main dining area she said let me check she came back and brought us into main dining area. Food was good we had grilled
Calamari with mashed potatoes Calamari was a bit tough but edible. We also ordered seafood salad which was good but smallish. We split Orecchiette with broccoli and sausage it was excellent.
Dessert was espresso and the best Italian Cheesecake I have ever tasted. Waiter requested we complete a survey on an I pad. When we received bill they deducted the cheesecake which was a nice surprise.
We will definitely go back on way out my wife noticed they have a special during the week. We will definitely go back.
Check out this restaurant for a good dining experience.

I came here one Saturday night with a large group of friends and we had a great time. While we waited for few friends to arrive, I had a glass of wine at the bar. This was my first time coming here and it was a little bit of a drive from Brooklyn but I’d say it’s worth it.
We had the Baked Clams as an appetizer and for the entrees, Shrimp Oreganata and Penne a la Vodka with Shrimp. They made the Penne a la Vodka with Shrimp for my husband. This was not an option on the menu — only the Penne a la Vodka was. I love when a restaurant is accommodating :) For dessert, I believe we ordered a piece of chocolate cheesecake cake. Delicious!
The service was just as great as the food. Very nice place– I’m sure we’ll be back again.

First time tonight… I live in NJ and this place gives me a new reason to drive across the bridge. I had the deep fried cheesecake and my wife had the chaos. BOTH were GREAT!
We met Joe tonight who heard it was our first time and provided a cookie sampler,. Amazing…
They just gained two new customers for a very long time!
