Had lunch here. Food was actually exceptional, service was pretty decent. Portion sizes are considerably small, however. Wouldn’t mind paying more for a bit extra. But otherwise, this place is spot on. I’d definitely come back again.

First time here and I thought it was pretty good. Not the best Italian I ever tasted. I didn’t really think the service was that great but I also went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. I ordered the fruitti di Mari meal with pasta instead of a risotto and this came in a red sauce. One thing I did ask the waiter is if I was able to get a half order as it was pretty big and he said if I got a half order then I have to pay the same price as the full!!! He gave me some excuse saying that it’s all cooked at once? Last time I checked fish has to be cooked on the spot especially shell fish so if I wanted a half order why can’t you put less in the pot? Didn’t make any sense. I normally would bring home what I don’t finish but fish is one thing that I really don’t like to bring home to eat the next day. Prices are reasonable.

Had an early lunch here with some old friends. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. I ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka, tasty dish. Both my friends had the Chicken Muffaletta which looked scrumptious. Gin & tonic was just the right accompaniment for a great meal.

My family and I come here often and I am never disappointed. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Location: This restaurant is in a corner of a long strip on Page Ave. It’s next to Takyama and multiple other businesses which can sometimes pose an obstacle for parking depending when you go. Atmosphere: The décor and environment are very relaxing. It’s not a huge space but is large enough to accommodate a lot of people and or a party. The only part I don’t like is the sound. It bounces off the walls and gets unbelievably loud when a lot of customers are dining. You find yourself shouting and it’s distracting. During the night time they tend to turn down the lights real low as well which most older people find frustrating. My dad has to use his phone to light the menu and I saw other various diners do the same. Doesn’t really bother me but something to consider when going at night. The staff: We normally wind up with the same waiter each time we go and he is the best. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He is attentive and jokes around with you. It makes the experience very nice. All other staff are equally as attentive and friendly. Never had an issue personally. They don’t rush you out of your seat and allow you to stay and chat without making you feel like you wore your welcome. Very professional. The food: Love the food here. It always tastes fresh and is a large portion. I normally get some kind of pasta and it’s always yummy. They have a variety of foods at a really reasonable price for a night out and I usually wind up taking a to go bag home.

I’m not from SI, and we were visiting family that lives in the area and swears by this place. Based on what my uncle said, I had to get the Veal Marsala and boy was I happy I did… YUM! Nice and tender! Overall, no one had a bad meal in my party of 6 people. The room is a little on the bright side, with it’s yellow walls, and if you come in the daytime the sun hitting the walls is a little bit too much… maybe use those curtains to block some of the glaring sun off car windsheilds. Another side note would be a hook in the ladies room for a purse! GROSS — No place to put it, either the floor or in the sink… GROSS!

Well came here reluctantly and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the service even better. We prefer to come here on off days and times like early dinner during the week. I find the place falls apart a little on the weekends and it’s very loud if there’s a full house.

My friend recommended this place so my mom and I decided to try it. The menu looked great with all the homemade pasta options. So we sat down and our waiter offered us a drink. He didn’t bring my martini and water till I was already halfway done with my salad. Also, we asked if the caesar salad was large enough for us to share. He told us absolutely not. When my mom and I got our own salad we were upset because it was more than enough for 3 people let alone two. However, upon his suggestion we had one each. Then, we had told him we were in a rush and he took a LONG time to bring our entrees. He ignored us and hung out by the bar. Needless to say, we won’t be returning to bother them by patronizing here.

The food was really good. I had the seafood salad and the linguini with sundried tomatoes, artichokes and mushrooms and it was great tasting the vegetables were cooked nicely and the pasta was yummy. If I had to complain, my boyfriend had his heart set on pizza and the oven was broken. Not exactly their fault but not ideal. I came here with a party of 8 and everyone liked their food very much. I especially liked the bruschetta they put out to start.

I’m only giving one star because«0» isn’t an option. We went here for a family lunch after a funeral. My pasta was over-cooked mush. My chicken tasted like it came out of the freezer section at a grocery store. Two of the staff members were incredibly rude and better at brushing people off than actually doing their job. Will never go back and no one else should either. Close your doors.

Everything was fabulous! The service was amazing, the wait staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and eager to please. There were four of us in our party, every appetizer, entrée and dessert was to die for. Will definitely return!

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. It was freezing cold in their second room where they sat us, they didn’t warn us that it was cold in there. Everyone in that room was cold and wearing their jackets. We had to complain to get moved into the main room. As far as the food, it was not great and the steak that I ordered rare came well done. There was no attempt by the manager to rectify our situation nor did they apologize. We will never eat there again.

I’ve been here 2 times in 3 years and I must say the food is ok but overpriced and the service is so/so. I have ordered the chicken marsala which was fine and also the calamari which was average. The apps are ok and the desserts are not good. I’m just not a fan of this place

Café Luna has some of the most amazing food you can eat on staten island. I was surprised by the food being so good since many places have come and gone on Page Avenue. The restaurant was Fairly busy yet service never missed a beat. Once seated you get a dim lighted viewing area for a great date setting. The cielling has stars and a great painting scheme to match the rest of the atmosphere. The waiters start by bringing over a fresh bread basket before taking orders. We had the Black Linguinie w/Shrimp Diablo. «Absolutely Great» from taste, to portion, and there was plenty of shrimp unlike some places who will put 3 – 4 on a dish and call it a seafood platter. Prices are very reasonable and Café Luna Definitely has my vote on a return trip.

I came here for a baby shower not too long ago and was fairly pleased with the food here. I got there a little late because I went to the one on Hylan Blvd. and called my friend freaking out because there was no one there lol. I got the calamari as an appetizer, and the chicken francaise for the entrée. I was please with both dishes. The wait staff was very pleasant, the only complaint that I had was that I couldn’t understand a dang word my waiter was saying because his accent was so thick. I was only able to pick up one or 2 key words such as «Chicken», «Fish» which is how I placed my order lol. Nice place, good food!

This place is very pretty looking, kind people, OK service, but it is extremely loud. Everyone in there was dress very nice I though I was a little under dress but they didn’t say anything. I couldn’t here my conversation with my fiancé I kept saying HUHWHATDIDYOUSAY?! I don’t like places like that. The pizza at Café Luna was nothing spectacular at all. The Eggplant Rollentine was very good.
