My go to place on Staten Island for tacos and tortas. It always satisfies my cravings. Love that they also make Horchata. Best thing to drink during the summer. Nitpicking would be that you have to order tacos by 3 but in all it’s great. Plus it’s 10 minutes from my house.

My husband and I are big fans of La Canasta and the owner Rogelio. Best Tacosin the island hands down. Tried the tongue, carnitas, chorizo, beefsteak ando others all delicious. Breakfast is very good too, and one time we dared to try the Chico soup but it was way too spicy. Orders take a bit on Fridays because there is a lot of take out. I also have the steak and rice and mashed pinto beans, very tasty. Call and Pick up your order if you can. You have to eat everything warm. They also sell tortillas, very handy to make some quick quesadillas at home and they also have cheeses and chorizos. Nice low key plac after a day a the beach.

We just went there, the food is good, all the soups are delicious. You get a lot for a good amount. Only thing I didn’t like was the tortillas, but otherwise good. I loved their seafood soup, tacos and quesadillas. They have kid friendly food there too, just make sure to ask the waitress.

Very good, got breaded chicken sandwich, huge with fried jalapeño and avocado. And tacos al pastor, great flavor and no holding back on the spice. Will be back.

The food is inconsistent, the prices are Always more than what’s on the menu. I ordered 3 chicken tacos for $ 7.50 and I was charged $ 8.50.
Looks like I will be going to La Iguana Azul on Giffords ln in Great Kills. Bigger portions lower prices, better food.

Wow! I’ve only ordered pastor tacos for delivery, but they have been consistently amazing. These tacos are legit. Three of them fills me up perfectly, and the green and red salsas they come with are perfect for making it as spicy as you want.

The food was very good! I loved the tacos, but beware of the guacamole, its SPICY! so is the red sauce. Alot of food for the price!
