So disgusted with this place. My coworkers and I ordered a few things from here. Every single order was wrong. The delivery guy was ridiculously rude. Was harassing us in a medical office because he was not satisfied with his tip. He wanted us to interrupt the doctor to add an extra tip on a card when the other employees had already added a decent tip. The burger that I ordered was burnt, as well as the bread. All it was was a piece of burnt meat in two pieces of burnt bread. No cheese or anything.

There was a fried cockroach in my fries the last time I was there. Food has been consistently decent(usually order a sandwhich) but over priced. Haven’t gone back since the roach tho!

I have been to many of the mikes diners on Staten Island for a very long time. I never had any issues until now. I went to the mikes in new dorp and the entire experience was less then enjoyable. The food was good but the service was disasterly. The waitress was rude to us. She messed up parts of some orders as well as ignored us the entire time. When it came time for the bill I noticed all separate checks were charged 1.50 per white sauce container. I made a complaint and she said because none of our food was«Greek» we get charged for the sauce. My argument to her was that we were not informed that non Greek meals get charged for a sauce side. No other mikes ever charged me like this and she was extremely nasty to us because of it. I would not recommend going to that location. Any other location has excellent service, this one needs at least a better staff.

I had breakfast here for the last few days and it was always fresh and delicious. ELIZABETH is the best waitress I’ve ever had. Friendly, sweet, welcoming. She remembered us. She was very kind to my baby. Very patient despite being short staffed that day. I can’t wait to go back. Good coffee too!

When you’re piss-eyed blitzed, this is the place to go for huge portions of mediocre food. This place is long in the tooth and could use a renovation. Paid bill, asked for singles to tip waitress, cashier flung the money across the counter at me… a grease fire would be welcomed…

I’ve been eating in Mike’s a couple of times a week ever since moving to New Dorp Beach in 2007. Over time, the quality of the food and service has deteriorated from pretty good to just passable. And with the recent significant increase in prices and elimination of specials, it really is not worth the cost. I’m looking for a new«regular» spot.

Been coming here since I moved to Staten Island about 12 years ago, it used to be a good diner, compared to the rest being really bad. Now that there are great diners on the island, this place leaves a less than mediocre impression on you, from the wait staff, to the décor, cleanliness, food, & service. None of it is BAD by any means… just none of it is Good or great. At least THAT has stayed consistent over time. Will I eat here if its the best option or a group of people are going, sure. If its just myself & hubby we usually wind up elsewhere, BUT we will go here if we don’t feel like going too far out of our way. One thing I will say is that the Greek stuff is amazeballs… the tzatziki sauce here is consistently amazing. The last couple of times I have been here I got a chicken kebob platter, sometimes the greek salad with grilled chicken. Hubby will get a burger, some sort of sandwich, nothing is amazing, but consistently Okay. It does the job & is decent.

My favorite diner on Staten Island by far. Always the best place to go after drinking or for late night eats if you want to stay local! Their salads are huge and tasty! My favorite is their popcorn chicken salad and their Mexican taco salad! Yum! Their wraps are great also, the souvlaki wrap is my go to one! I love all the mikes diner on Staten Island but this one is the best and bigger portions!

Nothing like ordering something, let’s say a chicken salid sandwich and fries and getting a load of mayo with Lettice on a roll and nice cold french fries. Whoever knew that getting competent service was so hard. Moving on to another place where following directions is the norm.

Worst diner ever!!! Not the first time ive had a bad dish there but its open late so I gave it another chance… it wasnt that late, about 12am… we ordered two grill cheeses n french fries… to go. Two minutes after, they came with our order and the 25 dollar bill… we were like wow that was fast! … on a side note ive had ten dollar grill cheese sandwiches in other places and it was amazing… Anyhow the sandwiches were so nasty, there was one piece of cheese barely melted, the fries soggy n had a weird smell… the employees got into a fight in front of us about which table they had… uggghh ewwww never again

HORRIBLEDINER! I felt sorry for this restaurant and the people working in it. This place is dirty, the bathroom looked like it was never clean.(It smelled like urine!) The tables are sticky as well as their menus. Food was below average to say the least. Soggy fries, old and NOTFRESH salads, overcooked sausages and flat bland pancakes. The service is ok, a busboy comes around making sure your glass is always full of water. The wait staff try their best to accommodate your needs, but their coffee is disgusting! The management should make an effort in cleaning this place from the bottom up. I just don’t like to eat in a place that smells and feels dirty.

Get the Greek style chicken plate. Its so freakin good. The location is amazing its just down the street from the New Dorp stop on the train and the food can’t be beat. The price is a bit high but its awesome. The diner is totally old school in its vibe, the staff could stand to be friendlier but the hours too area awesome. I love it.

Conveniently located in the neighborhood, this diner is always a good choice, especially for a late-night meal. Great grilled cheeses, great curly fries and great omelets. Service is pretty good & food comes out pretty quickly. Try to get a booth in the main dining area. They are bigger than the ones passed the counter. There is no parking lot, only street parking & you pay at the register.

Ate here on July 4th because where we originally intended to go was closed. This was the worst diner food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a chicken quesadilla special and got what appeared to be an omelette in a flour tortilla. When I told the waiter, he confessed he put the order in as a breakfast quesadilla. It didn’t matter in the end because the chicken quesadilla was as bland and flavorless as could be. Nothing but unseasoned chicken and cheese. I had to specially request salsa and sour cream(with a quesadilla?). My friends ordered wraps and panini and all was ok, that’s it. I would never come back to this place. It was extremely over-priced and the cooking was awful.

Probably the worst diner food I’ve ever had. I got a tuna melt where they put about 2 pounds of tuna on each side of the bread. Um, I’m supposed to eat this how? My husband got a shrimp platter that he got sick from and we ended up with like a $ 40 dollar bill? Never again.

AGAIN. I take him somewhere, and HE gets«first to review». Sheesh. You’d think I was lazy. You’d think I allowed him. You’d think I was kind or something. Nah. Just too busy planning our wedding and then… he gets it. I’ll have to be more competitive from here on out. That’s IT. No more. So, ah. Go here for the dinerness. And quite good whole wheat pancakes. I know, why would you want to do that? Well, I like em! But, I did not at all want super fat, round«turkey»(I totally think they were pork, even though I ordered turkey) sausage with my pancakes. I thought they would be smaller, like breakfast sausage links, with a breakfast sausage flavor too. These were meaty, and kinda gross with pancakes. The fries were average to good. I ate every single one. Gah. I may burst.
