Small branch, but perfect for neighborhood. Friendly and quiet.
I am glad they still open, with most books being checked out electronically nova days (myself included, check most on my Nook)…

small. very small. there’s more seat for children than there is for adults. i was there to use the internet and the information desk was uninformative. i asked if there was another branch nearby, i had 3 different answers from everyone i went to. i felt a bit awkward just standing around… (since there were only child seating) i wanted to reserve a computer at another branch and the information assistant girl (a young high school student) didn’t seem to know what she was doing. overall, getting there by bus is a pain… so walking there is my only option. it’s not HORRIBLE, though. it’s clean, tidy, and has a decent selection of dvds, videos, and paperbacks.

A small library, only one room. The front desk ladies on Saturday are surly but fair. They never bend the rules, and god knows, I’ve tried to tempt them. However, the librarians at the branch are extremely helpful when I have a question. Children’s section is large and there’s definitely enough small chairs to go around. They have about a bookshelf of Russian books there, a good popular fiction and video collection. Their book sale rack is ok, I found the new Harry Potter book there once, and some Russian children’s books with incredible illustrations, but overall don’t expect much.
