Ah I felt like I was back in brooklyn coming to this place, and as in Brooklyn I mean old brooklyn, the good old days where you can go to a real Italian place, get some great sandwiches, good food, fresh pasta, homemade sauce, without some yuppie offering you gluten free, organic bulls*** As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’re in heaven!!! The amount of mozzarella, hot/cold food, salamis, homemade pastas, cold cuts, Italian bread… I can go on & on! You basically want to order a truck load to go. With a side of gaining about 30 pounds. As soon as I went to the deli counter to order I recognized a man working there, he said«I’ve made thousand of sandwiches for you» just so happens he use to work in johns deli in Bensonhurst, before it was sold, and isn’t the same anymore! Which sucks… I told him I will be back for him to make me a thousand more! And for 10 bucks the Italian hero I got was absolutely delicious! Stuffed to the max with cold cuts, didn’t have to remind him of the oil & vinegar, or fresh roasted peppers. Never the less it was amazing! Plus there is parking on the side. Can’t wait to come by get some sausages, meatballs, and ravioli!

Probably the best of the three locations of Pastosa’s in Staten Island. Staff is always available and super helpful when needed. Prices are alright for a specialty store however nothing to go crazy about.

Absolutely love this store. I always make holiday purchases every year and stock up on their ravioli, tortellini, cheese, etc. So nice to have a neighborhood store thrive for decades. It’s always a treat shopping in this family owned establishment. I actually don’t mind waiting on line outside the store, everyone is very courteous and polite and makes the holidays even more special. Neighborhood stores are the best…

Grateful to the owner and son of Pastosa for spending 15 minutes during this busy holiday shopping season searching for espresso coffeemaker rubber rings for me. It was a $ 4 sale for them but worth a million to me so I could make coffee for Christmas eve. Not many other business owners would have been so kind and patient.

I usually don’t eat sausage because of the fennel but this place has a parsely and cheese sausage that I love. I do not live on Staten Island so when I visit my parents always send me home with some delicious manicotti, sauce, sausage and cold cuts. The cold cuts here last longer then when I buy it from big supermarket chains. I’m pretty sure it has to do with how well they wrap it up. Please open a store in Rockland County, NY!

The ravioli and manicotti are amazing here. The ricotta fill is cheesy creamy and very delicious. They have a lot of different choice. Pastoral has cooked food items also and lots of imported Italian items. I love it.

This is my favorite Italian deli on the island. I like their spinach manicotti best. This location has a great fresh seafood selection. Also they have delicious bread and fruit salad.

My husband and I love waking up on Sat or Sun morning and walking to Pastosa to get hot mozzarella, fresh bread, sopressata, basil and little tomatoes. There is nothing like having all fresh ingredients in the morning and really enjoying our breakfast together. Of course once we are there all the food looks so good that we end up buying more prepared food which always tastes fantastic. They even have a fish section that we found has very good quality fish. We also buy the home made soups which are also still hot in the containers when we get them. The soups are great for a quick, filling, healthy lunch, we usually get the italian wedding soup. My husband never fails to sneak a few bags of italian cookies and sweets into the shopping cart which I end up eating at home anyway. Pastosa has very attentive, kind staff we always enjoy coming here and feeling like we are part of their family. I’m so happy that we have such a great italian market right by our home.

I really loved this market. They are inexpensive and the quality is extremely high. For $ 50, we got a buffet for a night, two nights of dinner with ravioli, and an accompaniment of pasta. Their eggplant rollatini is restaurant quality. The ricotta cheese is light, and the eggplant is cooked perfectly. Their rice balls are interesting and taste pretty good. The breaded eggplant is stupendous. Their raviolis are fresh and come in many interesting varieties.

I’m not a resident of Staten Island, NY, but my sister is. So when we come to visit her, she takes us to all her favorite spots. Her newest obsession is her«Little Italian Market», where she gets most of her food. And today, she took us there. Such a happy day for us all. You walk in and everyone greets you. There is a nice little grocery section with an assortment of things from olive oil, artichokes, canned tomatoes, etc. etc. There is also some fresh produce lingering. Not the biggest selection, but a good selection. We actually ordered our Thanksgiving turkey there. It was ready to pick up when we walked in. But here is what I truly loved. They have a large selection of prepared foods, meats, cold cuts… you name it. The gentleman helping us was fantastic! We got risotto balls, broccoli rabe, pancetta, and some sausages. The risotto balls and broccoli are out of this world! The rest is for thanksgiving use(yum). Next to the prepared food section is the cheese and fish section. The way to my heart is not only through food, but specifically cheese. And when you offer me some samples, straight off a butchers knife, you might as well marry me. That is exactly what they do here. They give you samples of cheese, which is oh so tasty! Maybe it is the ambiance, or the people, but I love this place, and trust me when I say, when I am in Staten Island, it will be my staple go to little market.

The best place to go for all of your Italian food craving needs! They have fresh ravioli and manicotti that is so tasty with their delicious sauce! They have a deli counter with an awesome selection of any Italian food you could want that tastes so good. I can’t get my husband away from their cheese counter as there are so many great selections and my parents love the fresh fish they get in daily. Great place! Family owned.

I’m not Italian, but this is my Italian grandparents kitchen. Everything there is amazing, from the beet salad to the sandwiches. The way they cut your Cold cuts, pack your salads, and prepare meals is unbelievable. Try the lamb burgers, they are delicious. The staff is also very friendly accommodating and helpful.

I love Pastosa. I love Pastosa. I love Pastosa! What do I love specifically? Their fresh roast beef is rare and delicious. Fresh ravioli? Unbeatable. Broccoli rabe cooked in evoo? Unreal Roasted butternut squash? Yes. Artichoke salad? Hell yes. I could go on, but really whatever you pick is going to be fresh and awesome. The staff is always super friendly and quick(there will be a line anytime close to a holiday) They have an excellent selection of cheese and fresh meat. You will not be disappointed, it is worth the trip every time.

Very nice workers here. The deli always has fresh meats, cold cuts and cheeses and they have nice pasta dishes done too you can take home. All the italian specialities and ingredients you need. They sell fresh fruits and veggies. It smells so good in here and I love all the selection of pastries and cookies you can choose from. There is street parking though. There really helpful here and they take cash and credit. I love the roasted peppers and the either the tilapia or grill chicken they make! SOGOOD! Cant go wrong with the fresh mozz also. They also have packets of frozen raviolis, sauces, and stuffed shells which are really good too. I like coming to this place and even just looking around. Its pricey but worth it. MANGIA!
