Came here with a bunch of friends and we all ordered bubble tea. Asked for extra tapioca and they said no. When my friend complained to them that her tea was not what she wanted and asked to exchange, they said no and began talking about us amongst each other. Very rude! She had to throw her drink out and order a new one.

Not sure how this place has such great reviews. Their bubble tea is mediocre at best and they give the least amount of bubbles I have ever gotten in a bubble tea. Even with all that sometimes a girl just needs her bubble tea and every time that I have come here at 11:30(when they’re supposed to open) they were still closed. I waited as late as 11:50 and they were still not open. Completely unreliable.

Interesting place in Staten Island. They sell asian specialties like Bubble Tea and asian inspired ice cream flavors as well! Yum. However, came by here for a good cup of smoothie. Their mango smoothie was delicious and certainly milky thick to my liking. Prices might be a bit high for a non-manhattan place, but I’ll take it considering the lack of choice in SI.

Great flavors that you’d think to only find in Chinatown ice cream shop. Not just the ordinary flavors, vanilla n chocolate or strawberry… it goes beyond that. The bubble teas are great addition to the ice cream. You will truly enjoy the flavor and drinks as, much as my children do. Parking is a little tough.

Cute little place on New Dorp with the most enjoyable bubble tea — especially the Thai iced tea flavor!

Hope the owner knows the kids working here close the store early on a Saturday night! Not good for business or hungry customers craving some sweets!

I haven’t tried the bubble tea yet, but I really like the homemade ice creams. I have tried the green tea ice cream and the banana. I LOVE both of them, it’s hard to decide which one to get when I go in there. My husband always gets a mocha chip milkshake and my son loves the strawberry. They have many other exotic flavors. The service was fast and the price was decent. I will be back!!!

One of my favorite local businesses. About a block away from the New Dorp Library, you can’t miss this place. Great ice cream, fun atmosphere, and even a pretty wide selection of macaroons. I have yet to try their tea, but if it’s anything like the rest of their offerings, I’d probably enjoy it immensely. Definitely a go-to shop if you’re in town.

When you’re feeling up the mood for bubble tea drinks and don’t want to cross the bridge and pay for that good damn toll this is the spot to go to. They also serve different flavors compare to your average ice cream parlor and customize cakes. The few times I ordered their customize cakes I love how they was attentive to want I wanted and all three times I really loved the designs. The first time I ordered the cake I had no choice but to take the sponge cake due to my toddler being allergic to eggs. It was too sweet for our taste(Chinese people) but most western people doesn’t mind, so if you are one of those people that don’t like sponge cakes being too sweet I suggest to let them know in advance. The other two times I ordered the ice cream cake, the cake is really packed in. To me I feel it’s worth the money. If you plan to try this place go for the bubble tea the bobas are soft and chewy which I really like unlike other spots that make them hard as a rock.

This place is clean and has delicious Ice cream! I’ve been here for the bubble tea and they always make it perfectly ! My favorites are the Taro Boba milk tea AND the Passion boba tea with mango stars(very refreshing & yummy) don’t forget to bring your bubble tea card! I believe after your 5th boba tea you get one free.

I have a little café on the North Shore, but whenever I leave my neighborhood, I always support another small business for my coffee, tea, or bubble tea cravings. It’s all about locals supporting locals and Truly encouraging each other to succeed! A few weeks ago I made it over to pizzeria giove for dinner and my little guy wanted to do everything but sit and wait for everyone else to finish up. So I decided to take a little walk and I found myself standing outside Something Sweet. I quickly head on in to get out of the impending storm and picked up a few macarons for my little one. When I went to pay I had a sudden urge for bubble tea and found myself ordering a vanilla black. First, the macarons were so tasty, definitely a great find on the south shore. Second, I thoroughly enjoyed my bubble tea and am looking forward to my next jaunt on New Dorp Lane so that I can get another! You can definitely see the craft in bubble tea that they have perfected and I thought it was better than all Manhattan and Brooklyn places I have tried. I truly appreciate a great quality product, helpful customer service, and a local owned shop making Staten Island a better place, which this place for sure has all of the above.

LOVE this place so much. Obsessed with how yummy their bubble teas are & the tapioca balls are always fresh unlike some places where the tapioca is hard & has an unpleasant texture to it. I recently just moved a lot closer to here so I’m just so happy I don’t have to drive out to Brooklyn anymore to get my bubble tea fix!

Bubble tea is a staple in my life. When this place opened by my house in SI, I was wary to how it would compare to places like Tbaar and Vivis. Now I’ve been going here for bubble tea all the time. Prices are comparable, and they have reward stamp cards(which tbaar stopped doing wahh). Took off a star because my thai milk bubble tea isn’t consistent(sometimes more diluted than normal.) Overall great!

Something Sweet has become one of my favorite places to go. Literally in here getting bubble tea at least 3 – 4 times a week! Staff is warm and awesome, I know all of them by name now. The drinks are awesome and always fresh and tasty! Their ice cream and milkshakes are all home made and very delicious! Definitely recommend any one to come here and try their drinks and desserts you will not be disappointed!!!

This place is seriously awesome! Their cappuccino bubble tea is my absolute favorite and it is to die for! I wish they had a bigger variety of dessert but overall great customer service and ice team flavors!

Let me start by saying I didn’t have the bubble tea. I think it’s important to note as most of the higher-starred reviews do mention the tea. I just can’t bring myself to drink that stuff. We came in after dining at a restaurant on New Dorp Lane, excited for homemade ice cream. The place was pretty quiet and the staff person behind the counter quickly asked us if we were ready. We barely had a chance to look at all the flavors. Then she asked again. If she appeared as though she was going to follow up with questions about what types of flavors we were seeking or information about what they had available, maybe I could see it, but the demeanor was very nonchalant and uninformative. I wouldn’t say she was impatient with us, just mindlessly asking us if we were ready. We tried the chocolate peanut butter ice cream which had more of an «ices» consistency. It was good enough but nothing for which I would come back. We also tried the salted caramel gelato which was extremely, extremely sweet. I would say that’s to be expected of this type of flavor, but it was not to my tastes. For those with a sweeter tooth, this flavor might have total appeal. Overall, just a mediocre experience. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but if I was with a friend who wanted to try it, I’d give it another shot(which could possibly be an opportunity for me to bump up my rating).

One of the few rare places that sell bubble tea on Staten Island ! Always fresh and amazing every time i go. I never mind the drive to the other side of the island to get there products :) worth it every time. Staff is always warm and welcoming !

This place used to be Sedutto’s and I never used to come in. Now I have a punch card I like it so much. The ice cream and unique toppings are great, but what I really come in for is the bubble tea! The staff is really nice and they always make it how I like it, which is a little less sweet.

This place is frekin’ adorable. I went in around Halloween because I was craving boba tea — which is hard to find in Staten Island. I ended up looking around and trying out Pumpkin ice cream and black Sesame ice cream. I want to try the cookies and brownies next time. Wonderful service and Great hangout spot!

I have a new bubble tea hot spot! Yippy! Staten Island is limited to places that has Asian types food and drinks… I’m happy I found a place where I can enjoy desserts and bubbles! They have sooo many flavors to chose from. when it comes to drinks and ice cream… i cant wait to try all the flavors out! they even have directions on how to drink bubble tea. I thought that was kinda cute… haven’t tried there home made ice cream but that’s next thing on my list of to dos when I come back here .there ice cream are homemade… a little pricy… so far I tried the Papaya milk tea with tapioca and Thai milk tea with tapioca… they are both good… Couldn’t really taste the papaya but the Thai one is perfect! Pricey are around five bucks for a large pricy but worth it! They even have shaved ice! Seatings are great. they have window seating about eight chairs near the window… where you can see people passing by. and there’s four round tables with four chairs in each tables. I found the arrangement comfortable and inviting… there’s about four people working there… area is clean. cute décor… yes they do have a bathroom!
