used Tony’s for back yard concrete did an ok job did not take away any garbage .they came back the next day to saw cut expansion joints and remove all wood was not home for this called Val next day told him concrete dust all over the place and on pool and did not remove all wood he said they would come over in next day or so still have not shown up I have to clean up the back yard and remove the wood myself would not recommend them to friends

Made two appointments for estimates. They no showed on both. No phone. no nothing. Said they would call me back first time to reschedule. Called 3 days later and didn’t show for appointment.
Heard their work was good but if this is how they do business I’ll pass.

I had contacted Tony’s Masonry to provide an estimate for repairs on my stoop. «Val» came out and called me to tell me how much the repairs would cost. I asked for a written proposal, but he said he wouldn’t bother writing one up unless I decided to go with him. After getting other estimates, I called him up to say I wanted to go with him for the work, but re-​requested that he write up a proposal. He said he’d be over on Friday at 5 pm. At 5:10 pm, he called and told me he was bringing his wife to the city for her acupuncture appointment (not an emergency), and that he’d be over at 7 pm. I was a little peeved, but said ok. 7 pm comes. Then 7:10, then 7:20 pm. Then he calls me and tells me he is in Manhattan (I live in Brooklyn) but was «on his way.» In the meantime, he kept called me «Hun.» «I’m on the way, Hun.» UGH. Disgusting. I told him to not bother coming over, because clearly he didn’t give a crap about my job, and disrespected me by calling me «hun» which infuriated me. When I said to not bother coming over, he actually chuckled, and said ‘ok’ and didn’t apologize. So… I can’t talk to the guy’s work, but if this is how he treats potential clients (you’re supposed to knock my socks off before I hire you), I question how he would treat me during the project. Oh, and he wanted to be paid in cash. I don’t trust people who want to be paid in just cash. JUST RED FLAGS all around.

Some of the best contractors on the island. I have used tonys on multiple occasions and they have always provided high quality work. They did brick paver work on my backyard surrounding my pool and it was done quickly, professionally, and looked AMAZING when finished. They also redid my side deck and driveway with concrete and their team was able to make a beautiful brush stroke design making my concrete look much fancier then the price tag on it.
These guys know their stuff and are willing to work with you on the price in order to make your house look Ideal. Highly recommend calling them if you have any concrete or paver needs.
