Absolutely the BEST service hands down! I just went there to remove tints after a ticket and they were SO helpful. Luis and his partner did an excellent job. I highly recommend them! All car shops should be like them. Great customer service A++

The whole crew here is top notch. I am a tech myself at a car dealer but I choose to buy tires here. The prices are right and the service is great. I had a few tint jobs done here as well and was very happy with them. I recommend anyone who asks to go there.

Well what can I say about the crew here at Wil-​Johns that hasn’t already been said in the countless reviews. Rob (3^rd gen family owner) and Lewis (shop manager) are absolutely great people to deal with.
I had an unfortunate issue with an aftermarket coilover (due to a manufacturing defect — bad welding) six days after installation. I had the installation done at Wil-John’s. IT WAS NO ERROR NO THEIR PART but never the less they came to the rescue! Which in my book is a class act, there aren’t many business out there any longer who operate they way do — to do right by the consumer.
From the moment I had called them and explained that my coilover had snapped at the welding point (which disabled my truck) they worked with me to provide me with reliable /​fairly priced towing, keeping my truck at their shop until my parts arrived (mind you with at no charge) and making sure that I was taken care of in a very timely manner. I arrived at 08:00 and was out the door by 11:30; this was from taking out the defective coilovers, installing new coilovers, checking alignment, test driving and billing.
Just when I thought I everything was done Rob and Lewis went the extra mile and took tons of pictures and documented all of the damage my truck incurred due to the faulty coilover and gave me advice on going after the company/​manufacturer who sold the faulty item to have them reimburse me my costs.
Rob and Lewis are such great guys and Wil-John’s is truly one of the last great places where they aim to please their customer base. When it comes to my truck I go no where else, I go out of my way all the way from Brooklyn and pay that damned toll just to have these guys work on my truck.

Been going here for the past 16 years. Robert, the owner, Frank, Lou, Priscilla, Vin…, all behind the counter all top notch honest and kind. Favorite mechanic, Jay. Will tell it to you like it is. Have 3 vehicles and bring them there for full service. Including tires. Trust and honesty hard to find in this industry. Many times I didn’t pay a thing for minor adjustments. I do have a AAS in Automotive Technology and like to think I know what I’m talking about. Like to think that, lol. But I graduated 25 years ago and worked in an unrelated field since. These vehicles are so far advanced now that techs need to take periodic classes just to stay on top of things. The hand full of regular mechanics there do stay up to date. Tire Empire does not however deal with hybrids. All in all 5 stars for me. Try them out, you wont go wrong. Tell them Charlie sentcha!

ONLY PUT 4 QUARTS OF OIL IN MY CAR WHEN IT REQUIRES 6! STAY AWAY!
Yesterday, I went to Tire Empire on Hylan Blvd. to have them mount my spare tire on my spare rim since I hit a pothole and blew it out. I also figured I’d get an oil change to save some time while I was there.
Today, I noticed somebody wrote «4 syn» on my engine cover. I was wondering wtf??? Wait, like 4 quarts of synthetic? My car requires six!!! So I check the dipstick. IT’S LOW! On top if it, I really don’t appreciate somebody writing on my engine cover. I keep my car pretty immaculate. At least write the correct info if you write anything at all. Not the wrong info so the next idiot follows your error. I had to sand it off and now I have a mark on my engine cover from this idiot.
And what a TERRIBLE error that is! Basic auto 101, to refill the engine with the proper amount of oil. Most places check the capacity and type on the computer once you bring the car in. 2 quarts. that can easily destroy an engine.
After I discovered this unbelievable oversight, I drive my other car there, explain and show the pictures. They apologize. I made them give me two quarts of oil. They did not even offer me a refund! Stay away from this place.

I didn’t have an appointment called up right as they opened up and they said if I brought it right in they can get me in n out, got there within 30 min and my tints (2 front windows) were done in 20 min. Car looks awesome as now the front windows match the rear. Louis was very professional and did a great job explaining everything.

Got a wheel alignment today. Service was amazing. Everyone there was very helpful, especially Jay. I would definitely recommend this shop to my family members and friends.

Great experience. First time here. I follow Juan in the tinting dept where ever he goes and he introduced me to santo who hooked me up with 22″ tires & rims, bed cover and new exhaust. I looked up most prices online and there prices were very fair. Example was the bed cover which was 799 and they installed for 825. Understanding they pay less then I would but that is still fair! Highly recommend them for any work

When I first walked in I was greeted politely but that’s about all the good I could say about this place. I came in trying to replace a bubbled tire and the guy that greeted me started to check if they had the tire in stock. I also mentioned I had tire insurance to cover all the costs associated with the replacement. Immediately he told me he can’t help me and I had to deal with Frank.
I waited until Frank was ready to help me and it seemed to be under control. He called to check if he can get the tire in stock then asked for my insurance info. He had an issue with getting through to the proper department on the phone with my insurance and pretty much told me he doesn’t have time to deal with this and gave me the phone to «take care of it». Left with no other choice I had to speak with the insurance on his behalf and relay technical information about the tire repair I had no idea about. The insurance agent was even surprised why the customer was calling on the behalf of the repair shop to make the claim. After about 20 – 30 min on the phone going back and forth between Frank and the insurance agent, they seem to reach an understanding and Frank was told to fax over a receipt with the repair info and they would pay him within 2 – 3 hours via credit card.
Since he didn’t have the tire in stock, I told him I will come back on Friday (this was a Tuesday) to have the tire replaced. Everything seemed fine until Thursday morning when I received a call from Frank letting me know that he still hasn’t received the money from the insurance company. I called him back and he basically told me either pay out of pocket or he won’t do anything for me. He didn’t feel like dealing with the insurance company anymore. I called the insurance and they advised me that they are happy to pay the claim but Frank never faxed over the receipt they asked for.
This shop is a joke I don’t understand how they stay in business for so long when they are incompetent and cant even do basic clerical work. I had to do their job for them, waste 3 days of my time going back and forth between the insurance and Frank and in the end the tire never got replaced.
I ended up doing what I should have done in the 1^st place. Contacted my Porsche dealership arranged for a loaner car drop off and had my tire replaced in less then a couple of hours. Which was less then even making Frank understand how to deal with the insurance company.
I also wanted to get tinting and rims from these guys but thank god I didn’t. I can only imagine what kind of headaches I would have caused myself letting these clowns handle a $ 10,000 rim job.
Will NEVER go there again and will advise anybody who respects themselves never to waste their time with these guys.
I rather drive on a flat then have to deal with their incompetent service.

My first time there service was great and friendly. Absolutely loved my experience; QUICK and professional. A great guy name Lou helped me and was very knowledgeable and honest. The whole staff over all are GREAT. Fast service– helped me with my car and even a helped me with a cup off coffee.

Quick service and very reliable, has my windows tinted and did the state inspection. Very trustworthy.

Finally a place that isn’t staffed with miserable people. Competitive prices and a job done when they said it would be done. Why go some place and deal with miserable people when you can go to a place like this?
I want to make a change, looking at my receipt, I was told 130 per tire over the phone and I see they charge 135 per tire. My mistake, I should have paid better attention.
OK I now understand that the People’s Republic of NYC has to get their cut of the action now so I changed my rating. I just wish I had that explained from the beginning so I didn’t put the bad rating.

Everytime i get a new lease i get tint from these guys. They are nice, professional they take you on time and your done in an hour. Their prices are reasonable and they do a great a job! Thanks guys!!!

These guys are awesome, priced fairly and are funny! A great bunch to watch work. Clean, professional and fast.
