Let me start this review by saying that I am NOT a hairy person. I am a natural blonde and all of my body hair is a very light blonde. I do not have any hair on my face at all except a few whispy blonde hairs around my eyebrows that I get waxed to keep clean cut. Seems like a weird intro to a nail salon review but read on. Today I went to get my nails done here having just moved to Waynesboro and not knowing any better. As soon as I sat down in the chair to get my NAILS done, the lady immediately asked if I wanted an eyebrow and lip wax. Thinking it was just them trying to push a sale I kindly but firmly declined. Throughout the course of having my nails done I was asked FOURMORETIMES if I wanted a lip wax(gave up on the eyebrows apparently)! Every time I would politely say no she would look at me with a disappointed look and say– you sure? you really could use one– or an equally insulting comment. Let me be clear that I am not some hairy delusional person. I know some people that could use a lip wax and I know that I am not one of them, not even close. There’s nothing wrong with getting lip waxes if you need them, good for you for doing something about it, but I made it clear that I neither needed one or wanted one today or ever after about the second time she asked and she just kept asking! I wanted to scream at her«are you trying to not get any tip!?» On top of that she kept trying to get me to get like nail art done on my nails when I was there for a simple basic french manicure. After the lip wax comments I was sure to be clear about the fact that I was not at all interested in nail art. And yet she just kept pressing, throughout the entire time. I guess they are desperate for money or something. I should have known to walk right out the door when I walked in and there were no customers in sight and 7 or 8 employees just sitting there. After my experience I’m not surprised that nobody goes there. The nails didn’t even turn out all that well. I went in for an acrylic fill and you can still very clearly see the line where the old nail is. Not sure why I paid all that money for something that looks exactly the same. When I pointed this out to her she said it will look better with nail art. At this point I gave up, just sucked it up and paid, and left. Won’t return.

I was very impressed with the job they did with my complicated nail art. It’s a small area, so claustrophobes beware. The only thing that could have been better was the manicurist communicating with me & talking to me. Overall, it was an okay place. Just your average nail salon.

Worst Manicure Ever. I’ve never before wanted to wash my hands immediately following a manicure, but this place was filthy. They were doing some construction, so that explains the dust that landed in my nail polish during the manicure but everything was filthy, from the towel she was using(I had to request a clean towel). At one point, while she was cutting my cuticles, she cut my pinky finger and I asked her to stop. Then she just got sloppy. When the dust fell in my wet nail polish, she used a cotton ball to take it off and redo the nail. She didn’t clear out the cotton, so there’s little bits of cotton in my polish. Only three of my fingers did not end up with polish on the skin. Finally, she was so rushed that there are bubbles in the final product, which happens when you put wet polish on wet polish. I would NEVER go back to this place and recommend that you don’t either.
