Three of us stopped at Cheers On 1st for lunch. We had heard the it was nice, and I have to say, for what it is, I am impressed. It is a neighborhood place, only five tables and three banquets, but it has a wide variety of premium beers available, and a full bar. The locals were friendly, our Server /Bartender /Cook, Ginger, was attentive and accommodating. The food was good, we received great service, and the dining area and bar and restroom were super clean. This ain’t no dive bar! We ordered Chicken Fried Steak, two eggs(over easy), hash browns and homemade gravy /$ 9.50; Chef’s Salad, iceberg lettuce, ham, turkey, egg, tomato and American and Swiss cheeses /$ 8.50; and French Toast, two eggs and sausage patty /$ 7.75. Our Server, Ginger(Go Beavers!), whipped all this out while keeping up with the other customer’s orders … wow, She was flying! Three-Star Food and Five Star Service. Next time, I’ll try the burgers.

The bartender does a good job. However the owner seems not to care about his customer if his«buddies» are in. They get served first, while he jokes about burning our breakfast. Probably won’t last in business long with this attitude. It’s too bad, could be a nice nieghborhood hangout.
