We love coming here! The food is wonderful and the people are so nice. There’s so much of it too! I really like the renovation they have done.

This place is amazing. Friendly staff and unbelievable authentic Korean bbq. The price is high but you truly get what you pay for. In so glad I found this place!

I’ve spent a total of 10 years in Korea. I’m married to a Korean, and I have to say that Korea Palace has the best Korean food of any Korean restaurants we’ve been to stateside.

I ordered the Bulgogi box at it was great! The soup they brought us was fantastic and all the sides were delicious. I’ve eaten here many times and the food has been consistent.

Food was good but we never did the Korean bbq with the grill before. We didn’t get any instructions and at the end our chicken was over cooked, In other word the service sucked. If the service wasn’t horrible this place would be great

This place any bad, definitely prefer the gas grills at Chung Ki Wa over the electric grills at Korea Palace.

Getting 5 stars because they actually had great service. For some reason, Korean restaurants have lacking service but these ladies were great. Super helpful with the newbies, even hand fed my parents after she showed them how to make the bulgogi lettuce wraps, good recommendations by her too. They were all very attentive. Food great as always, got two bbq combos that incl kalbi, bulgogi, chicken and shrimp. Bibimbap, pajun. The combos also came with gyoza apps. Glad they give the garlic cloves and lettuce leaves. Way more than enough for four people but plan was to take food home anyway. Suggestion, if you want a slow paced meal here, you must be specific. Or order in groups. If they’re busy, they will still likely get the food out to you fast. It’s a Korean thing. Eat, converse, enjoy meal but when you’re done, don’t take up that table if people are waiting to eat.

Maybe it’s because I go to this place with my Korean friend that knows the staff, but for me, the service is always beyond excellent. The food here is really delicious. I suggest branching out of your typical korean bbq dishes. Everything I’ve had here was really really good. My favorites is the bibim neng myun(cold buckwheat noodles with meat and vegetables in spicy sauce).

This place is awesome. I don’t come here often because it’s a bit of a hike, but it’s definitely worth it! The soups are done excellently. The noodles are great, and the bibimbap is always on point! It’s all full of flavor and well seasoned. The pork belly melts in your mouth and the kimchee is crunchy and fresh. I highly recommend and will continue coming here!

The previous local place we went for Korean food went out of business(not sure what happened but we always liked the food). We have tried Korean restaurants while traveling around the country so now we know where we can go locally again for good Korean food. With certain ethnic foods I normally have a favorite dish and for Korean restaurants that dish is Bulgogi with its unique marinated beef flavor. So I ordered that and it was as good as I have had anywhere else. My wife ordered a spicy(but toned down for her) seafood soup that was also excellent. Of course there were the many little side dishes of Korean pickles including Kimchee that hit the spot. Since we tend to try to eat at less busy times we found, as usual, the service was friendly and efficient. Once I am satisfied with my favorite dish, and I was, I am ready to try other menu items next time around; and there will be a next time!

Me and the family kind of travel a lot and we make a point to visit«Korea Town» everywhere we go. Korea Palace is rated pretty highly out of all the places we’ve been to. It’s a pretty authentic restaurant, they kind of skimpy on the banchan(side dishes) but they were yummy! Their hotpots were huge and delish but my favorite Ugujikahlbeetang was ok. I liked that they had wild rice in their white rice and it was decorated nicely and very clean. :)

Two words: Never Again! I’ve had a little Korean food and I base my opinion on solely taste and flavor. The service and attitude of the staff at this place is horrible. They make you feel as if they’re paying you to eat at this place. I tried: 1. Sai Lang Tang Soup with veal… this thing literally has no flavor. 2. Jajangmyon: buckwheat noodles with fermented bean sauce. This dish was flavorful. The worst part of my meal was the service and attitude from the staff. I asked for a to go box and the lid of one of my containers fell on the ground. I asked the lady if I could have another cover and she just wiped the cover with her hand and gave it back to me from the ground. When I told her I want a different one she gave me attitude. I will never come to a place that treats people like crap. There are tons of authentic Korean restaurants and my money can be spent elsewhere.

The food was great as well as the workers and the Resturant, I just wish the side dishes were a little bit more in quantity cause most of them were just too small to even consider as a side dish. But maybe it’s just that I’m expecting too much . Overall I really liked it and I’d differently go back there to enjoy a great meal with my family.

I went here for dinner with a friend. We were seated without menus and then ignored for 15 minutes before we gave up and left. I’m not sure if this was blatant racism or incompetence on behalf of the wait staff, but we will not be returning. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I’m from southern California, where Korean food is aplenty. With that said, I think the Korean food here is pretty good by Michigan standards, albeit expensive. Service: It was relatively crowded, but it was easy to get the server’s attention. Korean places always have a little button you can hit which is nice. Food: Their tofu soup is pretty good(not very spicy like it supposed to be though) Their korean bbq meats are decent. Their galbi is not particularly tender. The pork belly, brisket, and beef tongue are what I would probably stick with next time. The bibimbap(hot stone bowl with stuff mixed in it) is also pretty good if you’re by yourself. Overall, not many other Korean food choices in the area, so I’ll definitely be back when the craving arises! Happy Unilocaling!

Pretty good Korean food in the Sterling Heights area. The staff is very efficient and there is a bell system. Menu offers a variety of Korean staples — barbecue, bibimbap, noodle soups and stews, appetizers. There were only a few banchan but each of them were very good and authentic. On a Sunday night at 6:30pm, the place was filled with Korean families — always a good sign!

To start off I want to note that my extended family apparently came the day before and loved it so much that they took my family here the next day. Well, I don’t know what happened in 24 hrs but this was definitely not impressive. There was some weird tea leaves stuck to the hot tea mug. There was a piece of green onion in the bottom of my water cup when they brought it out. It made me wonder how good they are about cleaning their dishes. My galbitang broth was pretty salty and no one wanted to try more after taking a spoonful. There was also a ton of radish in it(maybe to take up space?). The banchan(side dishes) were all pretty good and they were good about replenishing. The sulungtang’s were on par with the other Korean restaurants it seemed. Solid 2 stars. «Meh. I’ve experienced better». Couldn’t have summarized it any better.

This place is very good! I only came here once since its a bit far and I happen to be in the area but it was worth it! I wished I tried their korean bbq but we were in a hurry and just wanted to stick to the main menu. We had the bibimbap, soon da bu tofu soup and the jap che appetizer. Our favorite was the appetizer. There were a lot of veggies but the noodles were cooked to a perfection! Service was dead on and we loved the banchan. Bonus being that our server(I think the owner’s son) was super cute too which made the service that much better. If I am in the area again, I will come to try the korean bbq for sure!

Alright. Where do I start. (Very long review) The staff came to my table. 4x at most. Once, to serve me water and rush me to order(I just sat down), second, to bring me their little appetizers, and to bring me my hot pot and BBQ dishes, and third to ask me if everything was okay. When I just sat down, I got my menus and my water(I went with 2 other people). The server stood there, asking me, «are you ready to order?» I replied, «no, my I have a few minutes to go over the menu.» She then just stood there. I took a quick glance and I asked a couple of questions regarding their dishes, and she explained to me that whatever BBQ I got, I would get to self cook. I then proceeded to order their Kalbi and their Pork Belly(both marinated with their house special sauces). I asked if I can eat their hot pot along side with the self cook BBQ and they said yes. I also ordered 3 hot teas, and a sprite. She kept trying to tell me to try all their expensive dishes and what not. I didn’t like that. Second, I got my food. Appetizers, hotpot and BBQ. Turns out, the BBQ was already cooked. Okay. I hope that was a misunderstanding. Anyways, the hot pot. Good flavoring, but the seafood had a fishy smell to it. Understanding that it’s seafood. But that’s the first time this has happened to me at a k-restaurant. By this time, I still haven’t gotten my hot tea, soy sauce, or my sprite. Okay. I guess so. Third, they asked me if everything was okay. I replied«no, I haven’t gotten my drinks or my soy sauce». She then went to grab it without even apologizing. Ok that’s fine, whatever. She never returned. My table wasn’t even tended to once after that. They weren’t busy, there was probably 3 other tables. Parties of 2 – 4 people. I noticed that every other table there was Korean-American. The staff and them chit chatted, the staff served them, the staff was insanely nice to them. I felt very singled out. I even spoke to the manager about my experience when I GOTUPANDWALKEDTOTHECASHIERTOCASHOUT. She just looked at me, nodded, gave me my check, I paid and she said, «have a nice night.» And smiled. Well geez, that kind of explains it. My sister in law said this place was good, and I read a couple of reviews and I wanted to try it out. If I could give them zero stars, I would. But they would never have my services again. I would rather go to Chung Ki Wa down the street or Bi Bim Bab in Novi/Downtown Royal Oak. I had the worst experiences here. I wanted to like them. But I couldn’t. I hope it wasn’t because I was not Korean. Goodluck all who try this place.
