Good meal last night. Service was great. I had the salad bar and bowl of soup combo. I love all salad bars, so it was yummy! A lot of variety. The soup was okay, but then again I’m not a big soup girl. I just wanted to try something along with the salad bar. $ 2 beer specials every day. Will definitely come back to try a meal! If I were more hungry, I probably would have gotten the salmon along with the salad bar. Add it on to any entrée for almost $ 4. The only thing I didn’t like is how small the dining areas are. It’s hard to get up because you have to wait for the aisle to be clear.

Sarah Phil you are a terrible reflection of the Ruby Tuesday brand. You need to take the skills you have and put them towards a career that involves sticking your personality inside of a box. You can’t cook burgers and your interpersonal skills are inexistient. My burgers that I ordered were two cheese burgers with bacon. The bacon well done and the burger medium. The first time we received the burgers they were hockey pucks. I refused to eat these puck burgers. My mom went back in and they remade the burgers. Specifically stating that we wanted the burgers MEDIUM! However, another 20 minutes of our lives were wasted on these so called medium burgers. Too annoyed to turn around and drive back to Ruby’s and waste my time I decided to call and speak with the manager. I had the joy of speaking with burger line cook and so called manager, Sarah Phil. She was unprofessional and just rude. She wanted to argue with me and said there was no way the burgers were over cooked because she made them. I hate to break it to you Sarah but burger flippin’ isn’t your thing. The burgers sucked. See the photo I attached and I think any person who knows what a medium burger looks like would tell you that your color blind or just don’t know wth your doing. Furthermore, she had the gull to tell me that Ruby Tuesday isn’t for me. Your right Sarah uneducated burger flippers aren’t what I’m used to. Needless to say Sarah, Food service management is not for you. When Ruby’s doesn’t work out, Jack in the Box is hiring.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I used to think their food was decent, but very overpriced for what you get. But a while back me and my wife went here to get some burgers on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Something to the degree of a burger with bbq sauce, bacon and sharp cheese. Well, the burgers were firstly served not very warm and must not have been prepared properly, because later that day I ended up with food poisoning! Will not be returning to this location or any other ever again.

Birthday burger coupon brought me back here. Been a few years since I ate here. Server was quite attentive and prompt with refills. Still enjoyed the many fresh items on salad bar. Quite clean also. the burger and fries were good also, but not worth the $ 10 price tag.

I went here with a few friends for St. Patrick’s Day. We didn’t want the whole bar scene, so we decided to stop by for a few drinks and dinner to relax. Our waiter was the nicest guy and joked around with us a lot which made him super easy to talk to. It helps that there aren’t any noticeable TVs around which made it nice to be able to talk to the people I was sitting with instead of being so focused on a sports game. The food was pretty good. I got the chicken parmesan pasta and had no complaints with it. Overall affordable place to top it off.

Last summer I came here and the air conditioning was not working. Of course they didn’t tell anyone they just seateed the people and let us sweat. Last month I came here a half hour before lunch ended with given a lunch menu and I ordered from the lunch menu. When my check come I was charged for dinner. I asked the waitress about it and she said that she hadn’t put the ticket in after lunch so I got charged dinner prices. Today I came in at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and was told they had run out of coffee early this morning. I went into the bathroom and the hot water tap does not work. I’m not impressed.

I usually go to the Novi location, but this is closer for me. We went around 9pm on a Saturday night. Our waiter was friendly but I really hate it when you’re asked if you want to order a(usually alcoholic) drink, you decline, and then he/she keeps pushing you to order something(and you know you just want to order water). Service was slow too and shouldn’t have been because it was pretty empty. My boyfriend and I both got the garden salad bar and the ribeye. Ribeye was okay but he wasn’t satisfied with it. Garden bar looked nice and I also got mashed potatoes. For dessert we got the blondie for 1 and the tiramisu. The waiter said they had to go find the tiramisu, lol(did they have to chase it down out back??), and I wasn’t a huge fan of it — the bottom was frozen. The blondie, however, came with vanilla ice cream and caramel and was very good. I’d go back to this Ruby’s but wouldn’t rush back anytime soon. We had a BOGO coupon which is why we went.

I really like to go here for the salad bar. The dinners are decent. It’s very affordable, and the service is always good too. Been going to this location for years and never left disappointed.

After leaving the MJR next door, this was plan for lunch, plus I had a voucher for a ‘FREE’ birthday burger Were promptly seated & Jenny /MGR was our server. Ordered beverages & burgers at 12:45pm. .. . jenny brought us out some flamboyant bread while we waited… Waited &WAITED at 1:15 ½ hour after placing our order, we sensed the VIBE it was going from bad to worse & wasn’t going to get any better And we left. Gave my Birthday Burger coupon to a young couple in the booth next door

Ughhhh that was so bad :(I begged my husband to go here for dinner based on my memories of chicken sliders they used to have. I really craved them. He didn’t like it from the last time he was there(in the late 90s). I was SO disappointed! They didn’t have the chicken sliders I was so desperate for but I settled for the burgers sliders. I ordered a martini. I don’t know what I expected from a chain restaurant bar but it was awful so I sent if back and ordered a manhattan. I don’t know if they knew how to make it since they kept asking me what went in it. What I got was horrible. Who puts southern comfort in a manhattan?! My sliders reminded me of mcdonalds burgers and they messed up my husbands order. We didn’t get the correct item until we were leaving so he ate half his meal out of a Togo box. I ordered a milk with my daughters kids meal which I had assumed came with the kids meal like every other restaurant kid meals ever but it didn’t. It cost extra. The waitress forgot to bring it out with the meal so my daughter also drank that out of a to go cup in the car. I wouldn’t have ordered it if it wasn’t included. Overall it was such a horrible experience and my husband and I felt disappointed we spent $ 38 there and was leaving feeling so unsatisfied. Never again.

We won’t be returning … ever. We came in at 2pm on a Thursday. It was slow. The salad bar was empty of the choice items, i.e. potato salad, carrots, etc… Our server was pleasant but super-slow. I ordered a Triple Prime Cheddar Burger and mom ordered a turkey sandwich. 50 minutes later our meal arrived… FIFTYMINUTES! Up front we told the server that the salad bar needed to be replenished. Mom wanted the potato salad; she paid $ 3.00 more to get the salad bar. The server said they had a lunch rush and that they had to make more potato salad. You would think that a restaurant as large as this would PREPARE ahead of time and have more potato salad made. They did replenish the carrots but never the potato salad. When the meal arrived it was hot and tasty. The table was disgusting and dirty when we arrived. I included a picture of the filth on the table that was sticky and gooey right where I was sitting. There was extra filth behind where the salt and pepper shakers were. The mess under the table was equally disgusting. We have been here before in the evening and had much more pleasant experiences but after this one huge bomb of an experience we will never return as there are too many more options in the area.

Ruby Tuesday is located near the MJR Theatre at 15 Mile and Van Dyke in Sterling Heights, mi. Whenever we plan to go see a show we have lunch at Ruby Tuesday. The salad bar is always fresh and has a nice selection of vegetables and fruits to choose from, as well as seeds, nuts, apple salad, potato salad, etc. Sometimes service is good and sometimes it’s not so good. It just depends. We’ve never been late for our shows, but we came close to being late once or twice. They have good cooks here and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

The food was mediocre. Terrible service. We were not pleased with the service provided at all! The waitress was a middle-aged woman with an attitude. We had to wait for almost 25 mins before our food arrived. It was not at all busy. There were probably 3 – 4 customers. some of the waiters were sitting behind our table and eating dinner which tells that it wasn’t busy. I will not encourage to dine at this particular location and am very disappointed with the service provided and will not go back there ever again! I hope the head office will look into this

I’ll be the first to admit, I really don’t like chain restaurants, but I kept seeing commercials for Ruby Tuesday and their all you can eat garden bar, and since it was conveniently located right next to the movie theater, I popped in today. Was pleasantly surprised! I have a pretty specific diet that I follow and I hate to be «that» person with the substitutions, additions, etc., and here I didn’t have to change a thing. I got the 7 ounce petite sirloin, cooked a perfect medium rare, and loved that out of all of the side dishes, I’d be able to eat about 80% of them :) I opted for the ‘garden bar’ and that kept me happy too, went back up for a second plate but barely made a dent in it. My friend loved her BBQ chicken, spaghetti squash and zucchini dish, and our waiter was fantastic. While you won’t see me hanging out in chain restaurants very often, I’ll definitely be back here.

Ruby Tuesdays are for those who graduate from TGIF, Chi Chi’s and Applebee’s. I mean if the aforementioned places are for 20&30 somethings then Ruby Tuesdays is for 30&40 somethings. Nice dark woods, contemporary semi-casual, artwork of vaguely familiar conservative styles, adult alternative and indie soft rock piped in. I guess I’m getting old, I kind of like it, it’s comfortable. You can be an adult(or pretend to be) get the great salad bar and maybe some sliders. I got the new zucchini sliders. They are doing some nicely grilled vegetable items here. My dates green beans looked and tasted like they were flash fried in a wok, nicely crisp and seared slightly, a bit charred exterior, a bit reminiscent of the green beans I would order at Wah Court(oh, Wah Court, those were the best green beans) I paired this with a Blue Moon and it was good. Lately they’ve been serving stuff like garlic cheddar biscuits and they have increased their seafood menu. Definitely not better biscuits than Red Lobster but decent. In the past I’ve gotten some decent burgers, apps and desserts. They serve a very good veggie(black bean) burger here too but don’t think you are eating less calories if you get it. Service was good, temperature of the room was cozy(not freezing like a lot of the restaurants of this type) I also like the location on Gratiot in Roseville. Cons: The wood may need to be re-sanded and finished. This is not Red Lobster, Mitchell’s or fancy shmancy but it works for me. Can get a little pricey depending on what you order. 3.75 Stars

A few years ago, Ruby Tuesday decided to put lots of nutritional information on their menus and add more vegetarian and low-fat options. While it was bold, in an America in love with excess, it was doomed to failure. They then steered 180 degrees starboard and miffed those of us who liked their first move. Today, they have tried to tack back toward the healthy without losing the decadent. The results are mixed. The salad bar now includes spring mix lettuce, edamame and new side dishes such as corn and black bean. Given the viscosity level of some of the sauces and dressings used, though, you may want to keep things simple. Vegetarian mini burgers are decent but not as good as at other chains such as Cheeseburger in Paradise. Some of the old good-for-you sides are still there but the sampler plate combination of them(with its lower price and accouterments) is gone. Service at this particular RT is a little iffy. As in Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. Tonight’s waitress seemed to forget that I had ordered a dinner, not the salad bar, and was not attuned to my wife’s concerns or communication style(calling her«sweetheart» at one point). In general, the young staff could benefit from some training in cultural sensitivity to those of us over 50(like me). All in all, while you could do better, you could do worse than this Ruby Tuesday. It is a place where many different types of eaters can be, if not thrilled, at least somewhat satisfied.

Food was 4 stars. Had burger Trio(Crabcake, beef and turkey burgers They were well cooked and well seasoned. Crabmeat/Crabcake burger had an excellent sauce. Dessert was«rushed out» double chocolate cake. There is supposed to be a warm chocolate center and mine was only half warmed. they did not finish it with powdered sugar like the photo either. Details? Maybe. but the dessert should have been warmed longer. Why three stars overall instead of 4? Well I thought it was grossly overpriced for what I got. $ 22.25 for a(small) sam adams, the burger trio(special) and a dessert? Not unless someone else is paying next time.

*EDITED4/19/08* This location has recently updated their tables, the upholstery of their chairs and booths; they might have even had them replaced them entirely. There are new, modern chic-ish light fixtures and they have spared no expense in updating their walls with a textured fabric covering. I thought it was very nicely done and… about time! As of this evening, no dust in sight and someone did a good job vacuuming. Passable burgers and salad bar. A good place to go in a pinch. Ruby Iced Tea(sweet iced tea and pomergranate juice) is pretty darn tasty! This particular restaurant could use a good vacuuming and dusting though.
