Really good vanilla iced coffee but crappy bagel. They don’t even put the cream cheese on for you. They just give you a tiny packet and a plastic knife. Also kind of disorganized once more than 5 customers are there. Grab a quick coffee but skip the rest.

Some of the reviews on here are pretty old. I’m not saying that all the issues are corrected, but today I stopped by for a small mocha because Starbucks was all the way at the other end of the terminal. The guy was super nice, asked me if I wanted a single or double shot and whether I wanted whipped cream. I also picked up a Kind bar, of which they had a HUGE selection, which was nice. The coffee was ready quickly and was pretty tasty. I think if you are just getting an espresso drink and bar it’s pretty safe.

Only had a double espresso here and it was pretty good. Was going to throw them 4-stars but looking at the other reviews, noting that I only had coffee and they did not have Splenda for my coffee, I’ll hold them at 3-stars.

I got off a red eye right next to this coffee shop and I was pretty excited for a big, strong mocha. The sleazy baristo made me the worst coffee drink I’ve ever had in my life. It tasted like they made it from a powdered mocha mix that was burned before being added to water. It was astonishingly bad. It’s a sad day for coffee when I have to go so far out of my way for starbucks(which usually tastes burnt to me), but they did an excellent job today! If you’re in terminal B, there are two places to get coffee, and let me suggest you not take a chance on Capitol Grounds.

There aren’t a whole lot of breakfast options at the airport for early flights. We stopped here because they had lots of yogurts and juices in their refrigerator. I ordered turkey and egg on a wheat wrap. It was pretty bland. I ate half and threw it away. I also got a greek yogurt from the refrigerator. Not a terrible option for the airport but not that great either.

Points for having coconut water and soy milk. Points taken away for being a ripoff. I know, I know… but it’s the AIRPORT! It’s SUPPOSED to be! Right. A water, an orangina and a banana for $ 10. BS.

The coffee here is not too bad, but the tea selection was surprisingly awesome. I ordered one just thinking it would be a standard, lackluster bag, but was happily surprised to find that this shop carried«Two Leaves and a Bud» tea — some of the best moderately-priced loose leaf tea bags. DEFINITE extra points for that. The baked goods looked a little dry in the case(not that I could eat them anyway with Lent being here), so I happily skipped them. Honestly, the tea didn’t need much in terms of pairing save for some honey. Totally relaxed my tense little muscles after rushing to get to the airport only to find out that my flight was delayed 5 hours, but that’s another story.

So let me start by saying that I decided to stop by at this place regardless reading all the low rating reviews. And let me just say this, Unilocalers rule! I hesitated going into this place seeing all negative reviews. I decided to give it try anyway because I really wanted a smoothie SO badly! I asked for a strawberry smoothie and they said they are out of it. I asked for another kind they said they are also out of stock. Then they told me they only have peach and mango available. I decided to go with mango. I did not think it was particularly bad. There was just no flavor or whatsoever. I could not even finish the whole drink. Next time during my visit, I would pick a different place.

Coffee taste burnt. Croissant looks like a hot dog bun. Egg taste like unflavored jello. Horrible food!

After scrolling through the Unilocal reviews for this place, I knew that I would be steering clear of… well, quite a bit! I stuck with a simple order — unsweetened iced tea. Foolproof! I also picked up a small container of dried fruits and some cottage cheese. I really appreciated that they have light and healthy snack options, instead of just being a carb haven. It’s definitely overpriced, but that is to be expected for most places inside of an airport. Being at Dulles already sucks. Don’t make it suckier, so stick with something«safe» here.

I wish I had read these Unilocal reviews before deciding to come here. They had a sign for a breakfast sandwich which allowed you to choose your bread/bagel/croissant; meat with egg and cheese. I ordered this sandwich and waited for almost 10 minutes for it. I was the only customer they had so the wait for this was unacceptable to me. Dunkin Donuts makes this type of sandwich for me in less than 3 minutes. A few people after me ordered coffee and milk. The cashier handled these drinks. However, before the cashier rung these people up and gave them their drink orders, he had been sweeping the floor. I did not see him wash his hands but saw that his fingers(unwashed) grabbed the cups from the INSIDE of the cup. That completely disgusted me. I hoped my sandwich was made under better terms. The sandwich itself fell apart really easy. The eggs were like jello and broke apart easily. The hardest sandwich to eat. I should have gone somewhere else.

They commit one of the ultimate sins in the bagel world: they don’t take the time to spread the cream cheese onto your bagel, instead, they give you a tiny dollop in a little plastic container. Not enough cream cheese. A non-eco plastic container that is NOTNEEDED — just serve the cream cheese on the bagel. If you want breakfast/coffee, try Chipotle by gate B-52. I had a great chichen burrito there, and I bet their breakfast burrito is good as well.

They sell watered down coffee. Do yourself a favor and go to Starbucks on the other side of terminl B.

I had a hot chocolate. It’s simple. You can’t go wrong, but Capitol Grounds somehow managed to mess it up. What I got was a drink that tasted like it was 75% water, 20% milk and 5% cocoa. If I had wanted water, I would have just asked for a free cup of it and not have paid $ 3 for this sorry drink.

The eggs tasted like … rotten eggs. The coffee was like someone had dipped a dirty sock in water for 30 seconds. The OJ was gritty. Not pulpy. gritty. started off the flight perfectly. So quaint.
