I used to shop here once in a while and did sell a few things. The last time I went there, after stop/go traffic for 35+ minutes on Old Ox Rd., I was glad to finally arrive & looked forward to seeing the owner, who was very nice to me the last few times I was there. However, this time was an exception; The owner had a MAJOR attitude. I had a few things to sell that were in fairly decent shape, but she either low balled or refused to sell my things. Her snobbery was unprofessional and unwarranted. I was not nasty to her, so I didn’t understand where this attitude came from. So, I drove to another consignment shop, dropped off some things and spent $$$ there. I told the employees of my experience @ Consign Mine. Based on another Unilocal review, the owner is flaky — nice to you @ first, then NASTY for no reason. Morale of the story, don’t bother, unless you like being treated like a 2nd class citizen. Be advised of the moody owner.

I discovered Consign Mine when looking for a consignment store that carried men’s clothes. It wasn’t very nearby and I didn’t find anything there that was right for me, but I asked the owner about consigning a set of dishes that had belonged to my parents(setting for 12 plus serving pieces, @90 items purchased in Japan in the 1950s, excellent condition). I know from previous consigning of my in-laws’ items that dishes are not easy to sell. I brought them over another day and helped unwrap them while she took photos and did some price checking online. She seemed happy to receive them, enthusiastically described how she would display them, and gave me my contract. Unfortunately, there was no further communication from Consign Mine. When I checked the inventory online, I never saw any listing/photos of my dishes. All I found was one sale 17 days later(within the first month) under a single SKU number listed as «China Platter» for $ 63($ 31.50 for the seller). I assumed that one serving piece or some portion of the set had sold, and I trusted that she was using good judgment to break up the set. I continued to check the inventory on the website and Facebook page but still found no listing/photos. After the 60 days had passed I sent a message to the Consign Mine webpage with no response. A few days later I called to inquire and was told that the whole set had been sold for $ 63(I was understandably surprised) and that I needed to pick up the check or have it mailed, no further discussion. The owner was short with me and seemed defensive. She said she was with customers who are her top priority; she made no offer to talk at a more convenient time, and then asked if I understood the consignment process(«you bring us your items, we sell them,» etc.). I was shocked by her attitude, since I had had such a positive initial experience. As a self-employed business owner myself, I understand how important/challenging it is to deal well with clients. At no time was I a difficult, demanding or unreasonable customer. I chose to pick up my check in person because I still had some questions for the owner. She was not present, but interestingly my portion of the $ 63 sale had been increased since our phone conversation. I asked her co-worker about the original price for the dishes and was told that the owner probably discounted the set immediately by 30−35% in order to make the sale. No record of the original sale price or transaction was offered, but I was just told that I should be glad that I didn’t have to take it back home. The contract states, «Consign Mine will take excellent care of your treasures and do our very best to give them a new home and make money for you.» This sale made very little for anyone!

Unilocal has been a great help for me in terms of searching for services, stores I’d love to check and many more. I was totally impressed by the set up and just the whole thing about this store. The owner is awesome!!! You can find men’s wear here than any other consignment stores I’ve been in the area. Prices are reasonable. And it drops when it’s over 30 days.

I never ever write reviews. But I just had to for this consignment shop. Jenny the owner of this cute little shop is really great with customers and overall just a friendly person that makes you want to come into her store. Most consignment shops I have gone too, the owner HASNOT been welcoming and very mean. Jenny is fabulous, cares about her customers and her store so of course I would want to go into a store where an owner cares just as much about her customers as her store. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great deal with cute items. Thank you for giving me a wonderful experience.

We found this consignment shop today and it was such a treat! They have a little bit of everything from menswear to ladies fashion, vintage clothing, decorative household, accessories, shoes, knickknacks… the list goes on! The employees are eager to help and are super friendly. The prices on their items were a great deal. Items that have been in the store longer than thirty days are 30%off! Even though it was a bit of a drive, it was certainly worth it!

This place is truly a gem. Consign Mine is well organized and stocked with well maintained and beautiful clothes. Brands include J. Crew, Anne Taylor, Tahari, Paige, Lilly Pulitzer just to name a few. The owners are a mother and daughter team who will welcome you into their store with a friendly hello. Consigning is a breeze and they have a seamless online process set up for their consignment partners. If you are looking for holiday decorations, select furniture items or unique jewelry, Consign Mine also has you covered.

This is not a THRIFT store. It’s a great eclectic consignment boutique with all kinds of stuff from high end clothing, bags, shoes, to vintage found again items that you just gotta have. The shop is well organized with racks of clothing to neat household items, wall art, decorative items, fantastic costume jewelry, and seasonal items as well. They are very friendly, and they will entertain the sale of just about any item you bring in. Best thing is, you don’t need an appointment. I found a pair of Vintage Chanel shoes for 40.00! How great! This is a great store for the ladies and gents of the community, they even had a set of golf clubs for sale, and they also have some great men’s items!

I’m in love with this place. It’s different from other consignment/thrift store around here: very cozy, clean, and has a chic vintage/hipster feel. You can find different style here: conservative, modern, steampunk, etc. They do have a lot of designer brands including Lily Pulitzer, Ann Taylor, Coach, etc. at very great price. I’ve been to other place where the price is as high as normal retail, which is odd. Here, I found an adorable, look brand new, all black leather, vintage Coach shoulder bag and a pair of wide calf boots that are hard to find and retailed at $ 250-$ 300 for $ 20 bucks, a cute Coach wristlet and lolita-esque skirt for my sister, a Coach crossbody for my ma, and a chic(faux) leather jacket for my cousin. All in one visit. Usually I’m lucky if I could walk out of a consignment/thrift store with 1 – 2 items. I’ve seen designer items that are priced at $ 5-$ 8 range(with the tags still on btw) and wide calf boots(which again, is hard to find) at $ 8. Also have interesting handmade accessories, prom/party dress and shoes, as well as a great selection of children/teen clothings(again, lots are brand new with tags, I’ve seen Hollister, Justice, The Children Place, etc.) The owner was very sweet, engaging, but professional. I brought in a ton of clothes to consign and you can tell she goes to great length to make sure the merchandise is presentable(she steams clothing before bringing it to the sale floor). You’re not gonna find any worn out items here. Almost eveything is either new with tags or very well taken care of that they look brand new.

I am so thrilled that there’s a fun new consignment store in the area! I saw a bunch of cute dresses but ended up scoring a Marc Jacobs top for $ 8.50! They have a ton of designer brands including Lily Pulitzer, Ann Taylor, Stuart Weitzman, and more! I also brought in a bunch of clothes to consign. They priced the items fairly as well. I recommend this place to anyone looking to consign or buy high quality, name brand items at great prices!
