I have waited a bit to post my review, because I wanted to make sure that nothing went wrong after MKHS finished the job. As with other reviewers, MKHS gave us the most for our money when we searched for kitchen/​breakfast room/​mudroom makeover (new floor, cabinets, island, lighting, sink/​faucet, counters, backsplash, etc.) for our McLean home. They quoted us three weeks for demolition-​to– installation. They met that deadline, even through the major snowstorm, with only a couple of incompleted items (one glass cabinet door did not come in from the manufacturer; we requested a customized trim on the island that required them to order more materials; two floor tiles needed to be replaced). We already had $ 30,000 in new appliances, and we required MKHS to build a custom cabinet for the Wolf and the SubZ. They did it within the 3 week timeframe, and it looks perfect. There are a total of 46 cabinet doors, 16 drawers, and three top to floor glass display cabinets). As for design, I do agree that you have to stay on top of it and make sure every step of the way that you are making whatever minor adjustments you need to get what you want. I did that several times, and I was not charged extra. I think another thing that made our job such a success was that I was totally prepared for them. I had been to the showroom many times, had the guys out to house several times, cleaned out the garage so that they had lots of space to cut materials, and talked to them every single day that they were on site.

I shopped around several places to get my new kitchen. The prices quoted were outrageous and no kitchen designer would do what I wanted, which was not conventional, but it was our kitchen. I almost gave up as I just assumed I couldn’t get it done in my budget. Hasan’s team did it. It looks absolutely fabulous and I am so happy with the workmanship, the customer service and the end product. Plus I have to say they did it in just over ½ of the price of the nearest bid. You can’t beat that. So, yes I understand some of the negative comments on delays, my project didn’t happen as fast I had wanted but we also had PWC inspection delays which I cannot hold MKHS responsible for. The delay was in part due to the county. Also, the crew does start later in the day and finish later, as I think they want to avoid traffic and be efficient, but I was fine with this as their attention to detail and fixing things if they were not quite perfect was fantastic. They were courteous, cleaned up daily and meticulous craftsman. So overall I was very happy. The slight delay was worth it. I have a gourmet kitchen and now the kids enjoy cooking with us as well!

This review is long overdue! since my project was completed in November. We had an excellent experience with Hassan & co. We had our kitchen remodeled and I love it !!! They were punctual and always kept me in the loop of what was going on. They are also very clean and made sure whatever messes made during the day during the remodel was cleaned up before they left for the day. Hassan always answered my questions and made sure we were happy with the project. I will use them again in a year or two when I redo my upstairs bathrooms.

I loved the desing that Hasan made. My kitchen looks like a chef’s kitchen. Really great people. amazing costumer service. I am a costumer for life!!!

Very poor experience. Would not recommend. They were very delayed in completing work. We constantly had to remind them of missed items, and the final portions were never complete.

We were very disappointed with the work they did on our kitchen remodel. The project was supposed to go 2 – 3 weeks but went 6 weeks instead (and the final product had many errors that weren’t completed). The co-​owners of the company, Hasan Hiraoglu and Ahmet Yildiz, did a poor job of planning and estimating effectively. I had to constantly ask questions for project items to be completed and serve as the project manager. It was not an enjoyable experience dealing with their poor customer service and lack of initiative. Most days their project team either didn’t come over despite promising to, or they came after normal working hours because they had moved on to another project. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone else.
